Mascara -Maybelline - Define A Lash Waterproof

I actually really like this product mainly because I opt for a natural look when putting on makeup. The thing that I love most about this mascara is that it doesn't clump. I've tried dozens of mascaras that claim that they are no-clump, but this is the only one that holds true. It really lengthens my lashes. It doesn't volumize that much, but then again Maybelline makes other mascaras that do that. As far as being waterproof, that holds true as well. The only time I can get this product off is with eye makeup remover. Anyway, I really like this product and it's great if you're going for a natural look that still lengthens and separates your lashes. Definitely recommended :)

Lip Treatments -Vaseline - rosy lips
pictureimperfect 4/25/2011 1:47:00 AM
I'm so disappointed that they don't sell this product in the states! I got one tin from my aunt when I visited London last summer and I've managed to savor it for quite some time. It's a definite favorite of mine and I'm extremely difficult to please when it comes to the care of my lips. Ever since I was young, I've been very prone to chapped lips and finding a product that works to prevent that from happening is nearly impossible, especially during the winter. I love this product for many reasons: It has lovely ingredients, including rose oil and almond oil. It has a very subtle but lovely smell to it, and it also gives a natural but very rosy color to my lips when applied. I also love the cute little tin it's packaged in. It makes it very easy to travel with as it fits comfortably in a bag or purse. I found it works best at night and even during the day. At night, I exfoliate my lips with a soft toothbrush in gentle circular motions before applying this product and then leaving it on throughout the night. When I wake up, my lips are unbelievably smooth. Then during the day, I reapply it as needed when I have it with me. If not, I just use a regular moisturizing Chapstick. Anyway, I'd definitely recommend this product! If anyone comes across it overseas if you live in the US (like me) or in Canada or anywhere else that doesn't sell this, my best advice would be to stock up! :)

Hair Removal -Gillette - Gillette Venus Disposables Spa Breeze
pictureimperfect 4/24/2011 12:38:00 AM
I've used many different razors but this is definitely one of my favorites. I love how the moisture gel strip things are so big that I don't need to use any shaving cream or gel. It's extremely convenient to use in the shower. I spend a few minutes in the hot shower before I start to shave so that the hair will be easier to remove. The shave generally lasts the same amount of time as other razors. My hair grows pretty fast, so with this razor my legs stay smooth for about two days. I absolutely hate stubble, so I shave every other day in the shower, and with this razor, it's really easy and quick. I also haven't gotten any cuts from this razor, which is definitely a plus. I only use this razor for my legs, however. I use other brands for my underarms and bikini area since my legs have a larger surface area and require a different type of razor, but that's just me personally. Anyway, I'd definitely recommend trying this product and I'm always a big Venus fan :)

Scrubs -St. Ives - Apricot Scrub
pictureimperfect 4/23/2011 10:05:00 PM
I'm always a huge fan of St. Ives and this is definitely a product I will always love. The texture is quite grainy and full of little beads, which I didn't initially love when I first tried using it a few years ago. But over the years, I've definitely learned more about exfoliating and after I learned how to properly exfoliate, this product does wonders. I can't use it everyday because it is quite harsh, but I use it about three times a week to remove any dead skin cells from my face. Immediately after using it, I notice my face is much smoother and cleaner. Just remember to always moisturize after using this product and any other exfoliator. Overall, I definitely recommend this product! Huge St. Ives fan :)

Scrubs -St. Ives - Green Tea Scrub
pictureimperfect 4/23/2011 10:02:00 PM
I have to say that I absolutely adore this product. I tried it by accident, actually. My mom had bought it and normally, I use the St. Ives Apricot Scrub, but I'd run out of that so I just decided to use a bit of my mom's Green Tea Scrub. I was honestly really surprised at the results. The texture of it isn't as rough as the Apricot Scrub, which makes it really easy to use everyday because it's not as harsh of an exfoliator. The scent of the scrub smells really fresh and clean. After I used it and washed it off, I got immediate results. My skin felt much softer and smoother. It's been a few weeks now and I use it every morning, and ever since then, my skin has much less breakouts, which is surprising for me because my skin is very acne-prone and difficult to control and clear up. The product also claims that it will reduce redness and for me, that definitely holds true because I can see that my skin tone has become more even and the redness has definitely decreased a lot. It also doesn't over-dry my skin too much either. Overall, I would definitely recommend this product and I'm a huge fan of every St. Ives product :)
