My skin is tan / olive, so I bought this product in Medium. Bear in mind that I'm in the UK, so the options over here are (I think): Fair, Medium, Dark and then something like Universal Radiance? I thought my skin was pretty tanned, but when this BB cream initially went on it was almost too dark! The product doesn't spread easily, so I put little dots over my face and blended it all together. First of all, I wasn't too impressed as the colour of my face didn't match my neck and no imperfections seem to have blended away. However, when I came back to the mirror five minutes later - voila! It had settled down nicely, diminished my dark areas and made my skin look dewy and smooth. I love the natural, no-makeup look it gives - definitely not cakey, as I've heard some people say. If it's cakey, you're using too much! It's more like a tinted moisturiser than a foundation, so if you want to really make the most of this product then I'd use it with concealer. That makes my skin look absolutely perfect and flawless. I find it a tad expensive for the amount of product you get (mine was £7.99 from Boots), but that said you don't need to use too much for full coverage. I wouldn't recommend this to paler skinned girls, just because even the Medium was pretty dark - as with most of Maybelline's products, I find the shades are consistently dark so I think the Fair wouldn't be particularly fair. Overall though, a good purchase.

I have this in 025 Strawberry Fizz - the scented one - and I love it! Never come across a scented nail polish before and the colour is pretty cute too. When dry, although it still has that nail polish smell, it also gives off a sweet strawberry aroma - pretty artifical, but still pretty cool. I also have 500 Disco Ball - the glitter one - which is also a great, cheap glitter polish. I like to pair the two together. It lasts for 3 or 4 days without chippage. Recommended for anyone who likes a cheapie polish! :)

I have naturally tan / olive skin, but I'd been looking a tad pale recently so I bought this to brighten my skin up. To make sure it turned a good colour, I put this only on my legs, right before bed. The next morning, my legs were a nice golden colour, although my feet looked a little too dark and patchy, so be careful around that area! Unfortunately, I'd also forgotten to wash my hands, so they turned orange - not best attractive. I literally tried everything to scrub it off, but succeeded in only lightening it slightly (using toothpaste and exfoliating gloves). Guess I'll have to wait for it to fade. So my advice is to be careful when applying to the hands, feet and other problem areas, because it's really hard to get off! I'm planning on using this on the rest of my body today, so I hope I don't go orange. Other cons are the smell - it smells delicious going on, but if you apply too much you get a faint, biscuity smell but it's not too bad or noticeable. On the upside, it comes out a nice colour if you get the application right and the bottle is big with a nice pump, and it's not at all expensive. As a first time tanner, I feel inclined to believe that this is a good product that I used wrong, so for that reason I would recommend and use it again. :)
