Foundations -I-Iman - Foundation Stick

This foundation is very good I like the fact I can modify the coverage amount because it comes in a stick format. The color is a decent match; once you blend it very good. I apply with my fingers with a spritz of my MAC fix plus or I just add some witch hazel in a spray bottle and this helps with blending. Warning if you dont set this foundation with a good powder it will disappear and make you look oily. I use Makeup forever HD powder to set and I use the revlon magic perfecting base as a primer and my makeup does not *budge*. I am extremely oily and this foundation will be my summer go to.

Foundations -Eve Pearl - High Definition Dual Foundation with CosmeNutrients

Ladies this is is I am DONE!! at last I have found my HG foundation. I was very apprehensive about this product when purchasing. I watched all the Youtube videos and thought it was to good to be true. I purchased it anyway and I am so happy I did. The consistency of the product is alot more sheer than it looks on the tutorials it is by no means thick especially when you use a wet sponge in my case i use the sonia kashuk blending sponge to sheer it out. It goes on like nothing I have ever tried. Makeup History: I have been an on and off MAC user for years I wore NW45 for years until some talented makeup artist said no maam you have olive / yellow undertones so I switched to N9 for my studiofix powder and NC50 for my Fix Fluid. The combination worked initially until it oxidized on my face and turned darker. That is what you have to think about when you are matching your makeup if it blends perfectly into your skin it will get darker within the hour and you can tell by looking at your ear in a mirror. I continued to use these products and blend by my neck and ear and forehead but it still turned darker throughout the day. So I switched to Prescriptives customblend fantastic match but it was also $65.00 and I had to drive 2.5 hours to Jacksonville from Savannah to get the product. Dont get me wrong prescriptives is a great foundation but it also oxidizes throughout the day. I switched to drugstore way too many too name all of them ( Iman, Revlon, Covergirl Queen etc......) I used mineral makeup Jane Iredale flawless coverage but too much of a red undertone for my skin. Fast Forward summer of 2009: I found my holy grail powder which is the Clinique almost makeup powder I wear it in this unbearable southeast GA heat and it looks fantastic it is so natural and it is buildable but anyway back to the EVE PEARL yes the makeup is a bit pricey at $54.00 plus $5.00 shipping and handling but can u really put a price on looking fabulous. This makeup does not sit on the skin it blends into the two tones mimic and adjust to your skintone. It looks like skin it does not look like makeup. If that is the look that you want dont purchase this. If u want the look of this is my natural skin with 2 tones and it is covering your imperfections beautifully give it a try. To my women of color try it I have a deep ebony tone and i have gotten more tan since the beginning of the warm weather and i do not have too go and purchase another foundation too match my summer skin. This HD foundation does it. The technology behind this is incredible. Bottom Line; Eve has done a wonderful job I love this product and will definitely purchase again and again. Oh you have to set with a translucent powder i use Bobbi Brown yeah I used her too LOL.

Powder -Clinique - Almost Powder Makeup SPF 15

After reading the reviews I decided to try this powder for the hot southeast Georgia summer. I LOVE it I am a woman of color and I find that makeup oxidizes and that completely changes the color. This product does not OXIDIZE it stays on throughout the day and in fact like other reviewers have stated it looks better when the natural oils on your face begin to show through. I work outside and it stands up to the heat and humidity so if you are indoors all day it will last no problem. If you have dark spots it will not conceal you will have to use a concealer but for me it evens me out and gives me a natural look. No one is perfect so if my imperfections show through I am comfortable with it. It really makes your skin show through. I apply mine with the Sonia Kashuk blending sponge and spray afterwards with a glycerin and rosewater mix to take away any potential ash. I also use the clinique pore minimizer in dark (02) over it. Try this product ladies it will not disappoint P.S. to all the ladies that want it to cover imperfections just use a concealer.

Moisturizers -Unlisted Brand - Extra Virgin Olive Oil

I am reading the reviews and alot of people with acne prone skin said it made them break out. I did not find that in my case you have to use EVOO in combination with a mild cleanser I use CETAPHIL. I rub the EVOO on and massage very gently for 1 minute then I use 2 pumps of my cleanser and massage for 30 sec and wipe with a warm washcloth. I have not broken out and in fact the few pimples I had were gone. I think if u are just putting on the EVOO by itself it may be too heavy for acne-prone skin. I love this stuff I use it to remove all my makeup. I also alternate and use other natural oils but this works best for me. I am very oily with very sensitive acne prone skin. I hope this helps someone. I would definitely buy again and I have. I also use this in conjunction with my lotion for staying power.
