I totally agree with the previous comments. This product is wonderful - I think it is helping my acne, too. Very happy I tried it.

I must one of the few girls that this product actually works for! Good thing I didn't read the reviews a year ago. I'm a medium blond (red undertones) and use Toasted Coconut. I always dry my hair before applying the highlights and always use latex gloves and do the highlights by hand (the wand is way too difficult). I have to let the highlights process for at least 30 minutes (usually more like 50 to 60 minutes) and stand at the mirror the whole time with a wet washcloth to wet down any highlighted strands that get too light. Be sure to alternate sides, front/back, and do hightlights of different widths (the smaller the better). It is pretty time consuming but the results are as good as or better than any $200 double process salon job I have had. Oh, and leave the conditioner on for at least 20 minutes after the highlights (I've even slept before rinsing the conditioner). Also, like the company says, don't use this if you are trying to make a drastic change. I've loved this product - no complaints. My best advice with DIY hair dye - don't feel you are cheap or poor when you do it and take your time. You know your hair best!
