i got this as a sample . I absolutely hated this at first. , i didnt know what to make of it. It basically smelled nothing like any perfume i've ever smelled. it took me many tries before i actually enjoyed the smell of this. Now i wont say I love it, but its really unique and I enjoy sniffing it. It has this milk note, which is comparable to a glass of cold fresh milk, very interesting , never smelled milk in a note before. It starts of with a more cherry almond feel, with the dragon's blood in the background and the milk off the top ... slowly the cherry becomes more rounded and blends in with the dragon's blood raising near the top. a truly unigue scent , would i buy this again? sure. Its so unlike anything else i've ever tried.

Powder -Alima - Satin Matte Mineral Foundation

Two months back i got the samples. they have lasted me this long, and i still have more ( i got about 6 shades) used them almost everyday. Bonus point for the cute sample packaging, even though they didnt have a sifter which would have been more useful. came with freebies and badge cute! Lets talk about shade selections: Now firstly its good they have a wide range of shades but i feel like their shades lack depth , like their warms and golden are really yellow, but their olive is slightly too cool. They need a wamer neutral. Im about Nc 20-25 , i've found my perfect skin match in EDM almond light , that matches me so spot on. In alima the goldens are WAY too gold/yellow for me. The warms are still noticeably yellow for me , i tried warm2 and that was the wrong undertone but the right lightness. Olive2 is too pinkish for me, its called olive but i would say this is a more cool neutral rather than a real olive. If you are used to EDM's olives which are a yellow/olive based neutral, alima's are nothing like that. beige 1 is even more cool toned than the warms . I can pull this off though . since its slightly more neutral than the warms . Olive 0 is closer to my skin tone, only that its a tad too light and still a tad ashy on my skin since it gives me a non-obvious pinkish cast. I've found my best match in 75% olive 0 and 25% golden 2 . lets talk about coverage now: This is one of the heavier coverage mineral's i've tried. and i like it that way. Application makes a difference too, you can try applying it more sheerly. I like applying this wet (using a wet sponge or kabuki ) and then finish of by spritzing my face. It gives a mostly matte finish,i woulds say that its more matte than semi-matte that the name implies , its more matte then say EDM's matte. I like its very polished matte finish. But it also feels very very very slightly heavier on the skin than any other minerals i've tried, i doubt you will notice . It gives me the kind of coverage that i can achieve with liquid foundation . I apply with NO base, and no finishing power. i love how it holds up and looks on its own. Its finely milled .and has an almost creamy sink into your skin feel. how does it wear? : SPECTACULAR ! it stays on forever. I live in singapore , hot humid all year, and its common to spend the day walking under the sun and deal with perspiring. I wear it up to 11 hours a day, and it hold up with no touch ups and no blotting. keep in mind im really oily. But yeah i get lazy and dont blot. but when i do it looks amazing all day. I like how it looks great, gives you the flawless skin look, feels way lighter than traditional liquids and powders, and holds up on my skin better than: EMD, silk naturals, aromaleigh . those did not handle my oily skin and the heat well . OVERALL : love the coverage, best yet. Great finish , blends into your skin does not look like you are "wearing a ton of makeup" . amazing staying power. i would love if they had truly olive shades, and less "flat" shades but at least they have the shade mixing option which is what i will use. so YES i see this a being me go-to every day foundation for a long time . im so in love. i apply it with a heavier hand for events and it looks ok even in flash photography , at least in my experience . you have got to try this!

Makeup Brushes -Everyday Minerals - Flat-Top Baby Kabuki

I have the full sized flat top from everyday minerals, and let me say this does just as good a job! however its VERY useful to take along, its small size manes it could even fit into your pocket for touch- ups. It may be small but its well made. not flimsy , its a REAL awesome brush just like its full sized sister. I love it so much because i can bring it around and its undoubtedly cute! I do feel like buying another ! Everyday minerals makes the best quality and affordable brushes! THis is no different. try it!

BB Cream -Wet 'n' Wild - Silkygirl BB Cream BN-01 Natural

Firstly THIS IS NOT a BB CREAM! BB creams are lightweight , sheer and have a gel like texture, they sink into your skin and moisturize. THIS on the other-hand provides medium opaque coverage, does not sink into your skin and is not sheer. This is more like a tinted moisturizer, or even a medium coverage foundation. I would not use this before moisturizing. If you are looking for a REAL BB CREAM, this is not it. However it is a pretty decent foundation , it gives off a glowy non-matte , dewy finish. Looks pretty natural too. Does a decent job of evening skin . It has spf 25 , so at least it does something. That being said, it has absolutely NO oil control , it slips off my face easily and looks worse through out the day. It didnt even give me a great look to begin with. Well it is cheap.... and the shade did look good on my skin. I would not recommend this though ... there are still better tinted moisturizers / foundations out there. SO on top of NOT being what this product claims to be , it still is a let down.

Concealers -MAC - select cover-up

Im NC 25- 20 , I use this In NC 20. Basically I use this and select sheer pressed powder in place of foundation. But i would say my skin is pretty clear. This is a light - medium coverage concealer. Its not heavy duty ! It isnt going to cover intense redness or deep dark circles. What is will cover are pink spots, and it will even out slight discoloration , and lighten faint shadows. I also like to place some on my brow bone as a kinda highlight. Its not cakey , or fake, a very natural matte finish. Its not AMAZING , neither is it bad. I would buy this again, because it matches y skin well and it gets the job done. Four stars because I find no issues with it, and it comes in a good squeeze tube. However i would not say its HG. Im sure there is something better out there

Garden of wisdom ROCKS. Cheap , no frills BUT outstanding quality ! I've been using this for half a year now. Its awesome. No cleanser has made my face feel so clean, my skin has never been more clear , I only use garden of wisdom products now. A 4oz bottle has enough to last a year ! i've only used half in 6 months. Its a great cleanser for most skin types, I have oily but dehydrated skin . Its not harsh but it does thoroughly cleanse . Its not a foamy type of cleanser, but it REALLY removes makeup. It removes mineral foundation and even revlon colourstay (which is notoriously hard to remove) I used to have bad skin ,it was oily and breakout prone. Since i've been using garden of wisdom it has improved ALOT. Plus they have the most outstanding customer service. yes i would buy this again! LOVE it total HG! EDIT 2011 : i've repurchased this four times in total. this is the only cleanser i've EVER repurchased. thats how great it is.

Ok im not a huge fan of the she space pigments( they are too sheer) . but i LOVE her face products. This is an amazing product. It has a great price and is of great quality . Im NC 25 and i use level one , I suspect her description of "casper white " is way off. Fair to medium skins will do well with level one. Its a finishing powder, what it does is it blurs blemishes and soften lines, it give you a soft focus effect, while adding a glow effect. NOT A SHEEN OR GLITTER! but a new dewy GLOW. PERFECT. THis contains not sparkles or glitter, you wont be getting that discoball shimmer look. Instead this imparts a very flattering natural and healthy glow. I usually use this as the last step in my face routine. Even if you use a matte foundation , this will soften the look and make everything less "powdery" looking. You dont have to use alot. I would repurchase! Heather the owner is such a sweet lady. Their shipping even for international is REALLY cheap. Great customer service too. you have to try this. its simply divine!

Im NC 25. I'm not very into blushes . But I got this because it looked amazing on me, and everyone said so . At the time it did, but now i feel that its perhaps too "deep" a colour on NC25 . It would be perfect on NC 35-40 but i feel that it just bring out the yellow in my skin. Maybe its too warm , i dont know but i dont think its great. Its sheer so you can build it up . It looks cute IF i used a tiny tiny amount. I dont like the shimmer in it . Wanted to love this, but i only like it. Its not bad but it could be better.

I've been wanting to try them forever! so i ordered 6 sample sized scents (only 99 cents each) the sample sizes are way bigger than bpal imps. I can see that they will last some time. somethingspecial.com (they aslo have an etsy and ebay) Arrived in 10 days! which is awesome because im in Singapore . Great customer service too. SCENT reviews: vanilla & sugar The BBW warm vanilla sugar type, very very similar to the sent, but a tad less vanilla then i wanted. I like it but im not a fan of the dry-down too much sandalwood and musk . I will have to wear this another time to see if i would get this again. Pink Sweets A pink sugar type . WOW! i've never sniffed the original but i LOVE this! Starts out sorta tropical, you can smell tangerine, and maybe some lemon , sweet and tart. Then it becomes abit like sugared fruits and candy, its a happy joyful scent. On the drydown it becomes powdered candy , i smell sugar and strawberry ( reminds me of bpal sticky pillowcase on dry-down ! i love it) I will get this one again! Its sweet but not boring or cloying , its complex and not like one dimensional . Vanilla bean cookies Vanilla bean noeltype.caramel , sugar candy ,maple syrup? yeah bown sugar goodness . French vanilla One of my favorites out of the bunch! It definitely reminds me of the body shop vanilla oil. Its not a foody vanilla, its fruity sweet. Not cloying .i smell peach, banana , maybe even sweet coconut . Its definitely a feel good everyday smell . Very pleasant yet HIGHLY addictive, cant stop sniffing this stuff. DELICIOUS ! I will buy this again. Dry-down to a light white amber Divine Vanilla sprit OMG I LOVE THIS! Where has this been ALL MY LIFE! too good for words. Its the one i LOVE the most! even among my other perfumes. Its a Spiritueuse Double Vanille by Guerlain Dupe. 've never tried the original , but let me say this, you NEED THIS. its to die for. Its a heavenly smokey vanilla , its dark, its sexy , its rebellious and yet its VANILLA. OMG *drools* It has depth and its on the warm side, not a happy sweet scent, but a deep and mysterious fragrance. You can smell tobacco (not in a bad way) yes a faint wiff of smoke, and the undercurrent of vanilla liquor in a dark bar. And occasional drifts of sweet murky intertwined darkness. JEEZ. I cant believe it cost me 99cents. its smells so expensive. I'll waer this all the time! its like a dramatic night time scent. perfect with a smokey eye and attitude. TRY THIS AHHhhhh Buttercream cupcake Maple syrup and sweeet caramel , its more "white and creamy" than vanilla bean cookies, less caramel and more cream and sugar. not cloying sweetness that is totally telling me to bake cupcakes. I like this Overall SomethingSpecial is VERY good at doing vanilla based scents, and bakery delights that are not too foody or cloying . I REALLY enjoyed every scent and i will wear them all. I sugest you try them out too (i may have to get a bigger bottle of divine vanilla spirit though!)

Polishes -OPI - done out in deco

Done out in deco = opaque lilac lavender cream its practically the colour or urban decay's packaging ! and of MAC's dame edna's packaging too. a very cool almost blue toned purple , light mauve would be a perfect description. very opaque, two coats will do. not the usual nail polish color , as the name states, it has a retro almost art deco feel. Great for spring/summer. This came out with the south beach collection. Its fresh and daring , yet has a vintage vibe, and it isnt so dramatic or in your face, great for everyday. i can see myself getting a normal sized bottle as i only have the mini one from the teeny bikinis set. :)

excellent quality like all OPI polishes. A satin "sweetie pie pink" nothing bold or daring about this one. its all innocent with a sheer silver shimmer. A safe choice for everyday, very girly ! Im nc 25 and its a nice pinky colour. I may buy a bigger bottle ( i have a mini one) as it is a good staple pink for any one to have! :) was not streaky ! ( i added the photo for this , its the pink on the right)

Paint cosmetics. A mineral makeup brand which prides itself on bright vibrant pigments. And they ARE BRIGHT. This is coming from a fyrinnae lover. These do rival fyrinnae. A good selection of intense colours. However their neutral colours abit lacking. I have to let you know, im under their referral program , but i am by no means biased. What i am telling you is my own HONEST opinion after trying the products. Ok so two colours of theirs i adore is LEMON LIMEADE a bright lime green. Very gorgeous, It has a sheen. its almost matte.more like a satin feel. ISLAND ICE a true robin's egg blue. vibrant and cool. A sheer shimmer. Very cute colour. Stickum primer A great alternative to UDPP! Its stickier, and hence makes shadows even more vibrant than udpp. Does not crease and wears well. lasts just as long as UDPP for me. Its stickier than paint pot off. on the down side it harder to spread on then UDPP or paint pots. but its virtually colourless. Very good! more affordable than UDPP or a paint pot. Lip Gloss -Fyrinnae - Lip Lustre: Hysteric

Gosh recently i've been a very lucky person! I've been madly in love with most of the products i've ordered... And the fyrinnae's lip lustres are not an exception! So here is how i feel about them in general: I love their size,I got them in the 3.5 ml size that cost $2.50. They are so cute! A great size for throwing in a tiny purse or even your pockets!(you will never have to without a lip product AGAIN) They cost also makes it easy to go ahead and collect them all! ( this is my excuse anyway...)But its a good amount of product. Lip stains: WARNING: they are not a lipgloss, or a lip stick. they are a lip stain-ish product. What that means is, they will not give you an ultra gloss finish, nor will it give you a matte finish. They have a sheen but its not shiney! They go on very smooth and glossy! ultra moisturising, which is a thumbs up for me. I like to put on at least two coats to have a more opaque coverage. Some colours tend to be more translucent. They do tend to get a bit more dry on your lips as time goes on. Again these are not lipsticks,so they wont stay on forever, but they do wear on more like glosses. what i like is even after it fades off a bit, it leaves a colour on your lips. I really like them, i have not tried a product like this before, its different in a good way! Colours: ( i may add swatches later on) Flavour of the day this must be my favourite of all of the ones i have! Its a peachy yellow toned pink with golden highlights. It a nude-ish shade. AMAZING on my NC25 skin, great when paired with smokey eyes. This could be a MLBB... i may need a larger tube of this.. Lace gloves A coral pink ... I love this too!a very nice pink that will suit most NC skins. Its a nice everyday colour. It would go with most looks Glitter Kittiez A vibrant grape purple.. with a hint of pink. its very fun, i could carry this off with nude-uish eyes. Its cool toned! it has glitter in it (they are rellitiny) but its not noticeble once applied. Not for the faint of heart... Pink guitar Another cool toned pink.
