So, I have very oily skin. I have to blot fairly frequently throughout the day, and I find that the oil combined with my foundation causes it to rub off. I dance about 2-3 a week, all for 4-10 hours at a time. Sweat does not help this issue. I had been using revlon colorstay, and for anyone looking for a zero-low transfer makeup, DOUBLE MATTE IS IT. This product is wonderful! It does not stop oil, but it more or less makes the oil look like a sheen rather than the generally unattractive oily look. But most importantly, I danced today from 1-5, then again from 9-1. I have been wearing this foundation since 10am, and it still looks good. When you blot, it does not rub off. And it covers beautifully, all without using very much. For all you oily girls who worry about their foundation staying on, please go out and try this product. It has been a relief for me, and they have a return policy. Just give it a shot! Coupled with MAC blot powder, you can't lose. ;) Good luck, ladies.
I have got very, very oily skin. I don't know how I survived before I tried this powder. I tried everything. I would have to reapply every hour to keep my face from looking greasy and disguisting. MAC blot powder keeps my face looking fresh for hours and hours on end. It's an incredible product. MAC has a return policy! I urge anyone fighting with oily skin to go out and give this powder a try, it has seriously changed my life.
Conditioner -TRESemme - Vitamin E Moisture Rich Conditioner

I have hair down to my waist. IE: I need a conditioner that detangles, softens, and truly moisturizes. Badly. I have tried virtually every product out there, ussually going for the expensive ones, but Tressemme Moisture Rich conditioner+shampoo have worked better than anything. The most amazing part is that it really helps detangle my hair, which normally after showering takes me 20-30 minutes to comb out. WOW! I can't say enough. And for the price, be sure to give it a shot. (Be sure to try the shampoo with the conditioner, the shampoo works wonders also.)
Shampoo -Paul Mitchell - Super Skinny Daily Shampoo

I just can't understand why this product has so many bad reviews, I have dry hair down to my waist, and this shampoo/conditioner really worked for me. it's probably definatley not for shorter hair, because it would weigh it down a whole lot.
Cleansers -Oxy - Oxy 10 Balance Maximum Strength Acne Wash

Simply the best. I always wander though, because it's not glamorous packaging, and it doesn't smell like anything more than soap, but I end up coming back for the fantastic results. Clears anything you've got, and prevents future damage.
Cleansers -Burt's Bees - Deep Cleansing Cream with Soap Bark and Chamomile

I bought this because I loved the smell of it, very clean. I have oily skin, and I wouldn't reccomend this for anyone with it. It made me break out pretty badly after about two weeks of twice daily use. But that's just me, so I'd say this would be good for people with dry skin, esp since it moisturizes very well. But oily and acne-prone should beware.

Powder -Everyday Minerals - Foundation Matte Formula
perklunk9 11/12/2007 9:03:00 PM
best formula EM has got. I've tried them all. Intensive doesn't go on well, and Matte has the same look, but it provides more even coverage. For the ladies who want more coverage def stick with this. for what you're getting, the price is amazing.
fabulous! well worth the price.
ooh i love it! soft and shimmery with pretty colors. and it's burt's. ah, it's great. buy.
First off: The color selection is just terrible. If you are pale, or dark, forget about it! Not to mention there is only one formula, when there are so many different types of skin out there. Bare minerals is overpriced and low quality. If you're looking for the best mineral makeup, try everydayminerals instead! They have free samples, great color selection and prices, not to mention it works a million times better than this garbage.
