I bought this fragrance without sampling first, based on reviews and what I read. What a mistake..this stuff is awful, to me it smells like rat poison. There is a note in here which I cannot detect that made me very neauseus. It does not come across as a gourmand/foody fragrance at all, just all must. The price is outrageous for the size also. Sample before you buy!

The good... It smells wonderful!! A true heliotrope..a little synthetic but overall wondeful.. I prefer a little more doughy as in Etros..but this is divine nonetheless. The staying power is a plus also.. the not so good... sigh... a 30 ml botlle (which is nothing is 30.00!! yikes!! you are getting very little juice for this price... other Heliotropes to explore for a much cost effective price....

Fragrances -Ava Luxe - Loukhoum

I have tried Keiko Mecheri Loukoum..Serge Lutens.. this is just an ok version. The staying power is no where near KM version..not even close. It's just ok..a little to floral for me. and the size of the bottle 30ml for 30 dollars is insane. To maany other versions of Loukoum to consider.

OMG..what is this!! This smells like a dirty old chest that has been sitting in someones attic for a century. I don't detect any almond like Lady E or Mazzolari (both beautiful fragrances) instead a rancid mothball smell with a nasty cherry coating. I put some on and asked my fiance what he thought..he said it smelled like a urinal in Penn Station..enough said. I think this is a fragrance you love or hate, no middle ground. Some words of advice..sample..sample..sample! before you go out and purchase this witchs brew.

Pressed Powders -Maybelline - Fit Me

I usually am a Mac blot fan as I dont find heavy powders do anything to flatter your skin. This is probably better than blot for the money... It doesnt really deposit much just absorb beautifully, If you are looking for a heavy duty cake on powder...this is not the one for you. Absolutely love it.

Mascara -L'Oreal - Telescopic

What garbage this mascara is. It provides no thickness whatsoever. the brush is flimsy and gets caught every time you put it in the tube like alot of new mascaras today. It builds minimal length, but the worst part is it smears and smears!!!!!!! This is a no bother mascara if ever there was one.

Powder -Revlon - ColorStay Mineral Foundation

I love this foundation as it is not to sheer, not to heavy. It does stay on well and gives a matte coverage all day. Very natural looking. What I don't love is the applicator when you turn it over it goes everywhere. However, I have that problem with most loose powders etc. which is why I tend to shy away from them. This is a keeper nevertheless and will be repurchasing.

Mascara -Maybelline - Define A Lash Volume Mascara

I don't know how you can even review this product as it is very difficult to get anything on the brush as it bends way to easily! It seems like it is made so the brush doesn't fit in the tube. I used this 2x and threw it in the garbage, which is exactly what this product is, garbage.

Styling Products -ARTec - Kiwi Blow Serum

This stuff is not thick as it goes on very light. It does a good job of blow drying my hair silky smooth. My hair is thick and wavy and usually takes a lot of work to get it smooth. I use this along with a leave in spray conditioner and I am good to go.

Lipstick -MAC - Media lipstick

I am jumping on the goth bandwagon with this lipstick. It is very similar to Chanel's Vamp with Media being a bit more burgandy. I am fair skinned, warm toned, dark hair. I feel like a goth chick with this lipstick, this could work at night but for a daytime lipcolor this comes out screaming. Sad to say, I returned it to the Mac counter. I wanted to love it just could not pull it off.

Mascara -Christian Dior - Diorshow Mascara

This is an ok mascara that builds lenght alot more than thickness. It takes a little bit of work to build any thickness. I don't have a lot of time to fuss in the morning with my mascara so I will not be re purchasing this. Pricey also, smells nice compared to other mascaras. BUT< who really cares what a mascara smells like??

I don't understand the raves about this mascara. It goes on choppy and does not give you any length whatsoever. The brush is very fat and awkward to use in my opinion. A bust for me.

Conditioner -Pantene - Pro-V Restoratives Time Renewal Conditioner

I love this conditioner for my dry thick hair. It does a great job of making my hair smooth and silky. The only thing I can do without is the smell. I wish all companies would tone down the scent in their hair care products as they mess up your fragrances you are wearing.

Powder -Neutrogena - mineral sheers mineral powder foundation-fair to light

First, I must say this is in no way a foundation. Coverage is non existent, and this is coming from a person who loves sheer foundations as I feel they make you look more natural. I bought this and ended up using it after my foundation just for a light dusting of powder. If you are using this as a finishing powder, again it is pretty much non existent. I do not detect much shimmer at all. The other thing that is terrible about this is the packaging, it is extremely awkward to shake anything out as the bristles get all mishapen when you cap it, plus the plastic cap cracks very easily. Will not be repurchasing!!
