I have used this toner for years. But only recently found that I reach for it consistently. I used to go back and for with this and Clinique's toner in #2. But found that the Clinique one was just getting to be too drying for my skin. When I used up my last bottle of Burt's Bee's rosewater&glycerin toner I panicked because most retailer's that carry the line unfortunately don't carry this one specific product. I randomly went into a local pharmacy that is also a health food store looking for new herbal tea's to try and lo and behold there it was. I will continue to use this as long as I can find it. My skin has never looked, or felt better. My only gripe is with the packaging, I wish they would put a flip-open cap on the bottle. Other than that, this is an A-1 product in my skin care regime. And I love the scent. Just lovely!
When trying to describe this lovely color, it is hard to justify its unique qualities. While reading thru some earlier reviews of this color, someone hit it right on the nail head. It reminded them of an abalone shell. That beautiful opalescent mixture of pinks, blues, greens, pearl, and touches of grey and gold. I really wish MAC would introduce some new colors that are duochrome. This color pairs beautiful with purples, blues, greens, and it can be used over a darker color to add lightness and soft shimmers. I would definitly recommend anyone to add this little gem into their collection of eyeshadows. This was one of my first ever MAC purchases and would definitely repurchase this one when its gone.
Eye Shadow -Cover Girl - Eye Enhancers Trio - Shimmering Sands

I so love this trio. It's a classic that I always have in my collection. It's perfect for a go to everyday look when you don't wanna think about it. It works for everything. And I especially love the highlight color. Its not frosty, just this beautiful glow. Everyone should have this set in their arsenal of makeup.
This is a fragrance that I had when I was in my early 20's and loved. Since of late I have been thinking of the fragrances that I have loved and lost and reminising of those days and why I wore a particular fragrance. So I have been on the search for some of those loved scents. I saw this on HSN a few days ago and thought I would order and see if it was still as lovely as I remember. It is. Alot of people don't understand this scent or like it from the reviews, but this is not a scent to be taken lightly. It is a "grown" womans fragrance. It's subtle sexiness at its best. One tiny spritz to the back of my neck just into the hair and it lasts on me thoughout the day, drying down to a soft subtle whiff that brings back memories of my BF lifting my hair gently to just breathe me in. I remember he told me once that he loved the smell of me because no one had ever smelled as good to him. Lovely. We still keep in touch even after all these years and he still tells me he remembers my smell and how good it was. Thats when I know that it just works for me. Now if I could just locate another beloved scent "Fidji" and I would be a very happy person. Try it and see how if affects those around you. You might be pleasantly surprised.
Tinted Moisturizer -Physicians Formula - Organic Wear - Ivory to Fair

I have drier skin in winter and since I don't need a full-coverage foundation I pull out my TM and use instead. I like this product and have repurchased twice since first trying it. It evens out my complexion, the lightest shade is perfect for my skin tone, and I love the slight lavender scent that it has, and bonus its made with organic ingredients. Its easy to find, not terribly expensive, not compared to say Laura Mercier's TM. And I like that it doesn't feel like I'm wearing anything. Try this and you might be surprised.
While I have used this when it first came out. It was not a miracle worker. It will blur out and set your concealer. But just too expensive to justify repurchasing this. I have found a mineral powder from Everyday Minerals that works exactly the same at a much cheaper price. The "light pink" lucent powder from EDM works much as Powderflage and you can order it is sample jars from their website. Also a "light yellow" concealer will also work, and will help soften the purplish color that we all get from time to time under eyes. Hope this helps anyone interested in this product.
I have tried many mascara's over the year's. From DS to HE and this mascara "rock's." I get volume and length all in one or two swipes. And it hold's a curl very well with the regular formula since I detest WP. Just the other day I compared Colossal on one eye and a sister to this The Falsie's, and the Colossal eye won hands down. I even like the scent, you get the slightest scent of rose from this. If you can find one of your local drugstore's with BOGO half-off, stock up. This one is definitely a keeper. My HG of mascara.
I purchased this soap on a whim, because I was almost out of my usual face wash and decided to try this one. I am not a woman of color, but for my age I have still have oily skin on my face. I am not usually sensitive to soaps as a rule and thought why not it only cost like $1.50 so I wouldn't be out much. After one try I was hooked. It lathers like crazy into a rich buttery feel, it rinses off completely, and I find the scent divine. Like cucumbers mixed with some herbs... fresh. After applying my usual moisturizer my skin looked so clean almost glowing which is propably only my imagination. But after waking up the next morning with not the usual greasy film that ordinarily clings to my face just a cleaner feel. And that soft lingering scent in my bathroom I couldn't wait to go out and find a few other bars. I love this soap and its so cheap. I even picked up the exfoilating scrub for my daughter who is trying to battle her acne. She likes it as well. Just last week I was in Walgreens and picked up a bottle of Cera ve to try and I don't like it. $12 bucks for that and I much prefer the AMBI bar which is dirt cheap. I will continue to purchase this because my face seems to love it.
Moisturizers -Merlot - Moonlight Radiance Natural Grape Seed Night Cream
perfumejunky 2/4/2010 10:15:00 PM
I bought this about a month ago for my winter parched skin. Since I was already using the Merlot Grape Seed moisturizer and loved it I thought I would give this a try. When I went to Walgreens to purchase they were having a buy one get 50% off on any of their products I was in heaven. This night cream has been a blessing to me. It has a wonderful "feel" when you reach into the jar, just a hint of scent, and when you apply it sinks in and doesn't sit on top of the skin. My face has never been softer. I use the regular moisturizer for day and this for nighttime after washing my face. I love it!
I started the clinique skin care line in my twenties, and it was love at first "try" I know alot of makeup artist's, and dermatologist's do not think that toner's are good for the skin. But my skin loves this product. It makes my skin feel so smooth and clean after using. And even after cleaning off my makeup and washing my face throughly, you will still see little bits of leftover foundation and blush when you use this. I'm taking off one lippie because yes it is expensive but I have never found anything that comes close to the quality of this product and believe me I have tried to find a cheaper version but no luck. So I wait until they have a GWP and this is when I buy a new bottle. Love, love this toner.
Liquid -Clinique - Superfit Foundation [DISCONTINUED]
perfumejunky 5/20/2009 6:11:00 PM
I have used several formulations of foundation from Clinique and this did nothing for me. The color was terrible looked orangey and did not blend well. I tried to like this and should have took it back, but didn't want to go the the hassle, finally just gave it away. I have found that several of clinique's foundations are just too orange based to suit my complexion. My favorite foundation of Clinique's is an older from them is Balanced foundation is porcelin. It just works, blends easily, covers what I need covered, lasts all day, and the color works with my skin tones.
I have always wondered why they call this color plum? It is in no way shape or form "plum" peach yes. I have used some Cover Girl products over the years but their cheekers blushes just aren't one of my favorites. The packaging sucks, brush is useless, and the color pay-off is almost non-existant unless you keep adding layers on top of layers and honestly who has the time. I agree with several of the other reviewers Cover Girl should just chuck the brush use that section of the package to add more product instead of that silly little sliver, and for goshs sake add more pigment.
I used the regular version of airspun powder and love it and have used it for years. When this came out I had to try it. It give you a very soft glow, for the days when you just need a little something extra.
I have used this powder since I was a teenager. I love it. Its not chalky but silky and it keeps me from shining like a light. I like the smell, if you don't like scented makeup, well you might not like this. But I love it. I have also used the luminious version of this as well as its great to give you just a soft glow, say for a night on the town.
Lotions/ Creams -Alba Botanica - Original Body Lotion
perfumejunky 12/5/2008 2:46:00 AM
Because I'm getting older, I'm a diabetic so I have drier skin, especially in the winter. I have found my HG body moisturizer. I purchased this a few months ago and I'm in love with this product. Its so soft, its not greasey, my skin just drinks it up, and it smells heavenly. I wish they had a body spray in this scent. Softly floral with just a hint of something spicey. But not overly scented, it doesn't interfere with your perfume. If you're searching for a good body lotion then try this.
