Moisturizers -Neutrogena - Light Night Cream

Agree with most of the reviewers, this "LIGHT Night Cream" is pretty good but PLEASE don't expect this well-performing moisturizer to be that "LIGHT". I was initially being shocked by its thick texture too, no wonder. Fortunately, just a few minutes after your application then you can feel the cream has been quickly absorbed into the skin. And right after the morning you are able to find you skin being softened unexpectedly. Worth to have a try, it costs you only USD14- in Hong Kong :) I suspect it claims itself to be "LIGHT" just because it's non-comedogenic & fragrance free. I don't expect it to have any dramatic renewal / recovery function but, undoubtedly it is one of my favorite night creams to let my skin "drinks up".

Liquid -Lancome - Photogenic [DISCONTINUED]

I got an oily and pimples face but I love it! Usually I guess those people with oily skin stay away from it coz of its greasy texture. I love it since I get used to use L'Oreal Pure Zone Anti Regreasing Moisturizer every morning. The moisturizer undoubtfully keeps my face all day shine-fine BUT the problem it brings is that I can no longer use oil-free foundation after that (I can¡¦t even blend the foundation). Photogenic¡¦s ultra-moisturizing texture covers my scars well but yet easy to blend and light enough. My face keeps shine-free and looks naturally all day long. I¡¦ve finished the 15g sample and just bought one from counter a week ago. Give it a try for the combination of Pure Zone Moisturizer + Photogenic, you¡¦ll probably be impressed by the result.

It's so smooth & easy to blend, mild, and won¡¯t cause you break out even you got sensitive skin. It makes your makeup finish in natural & moisture. In the time when my face was in allergy, this foundation saved me a lot from redness and rash. The bad side is that it doesn't cover my imperfection well. I can say its light texture just have a medium coverage. Soooo, usually I choose a little bit darker color of it, and when I got pimples and redness, I use it to finish a smooth and natural make-up.

Treatments -Biotherm - D-STRESS NUIT relaxing night care

This product is great. I am going to finish my first bottle of it and I have already bought a new one from sasa for about USD25.
Initially I was so disappointed because I found it too heavy and doesn't penetrate into my skin well. It was all because I bought it in a Hong Kong's wet and hot summer.
Luckily, when summer has gone and autumn came, I started to use it again. This time it gave me a surprise! It just fits my comb skin well. My skin turned soft and was hydrated when I woke up in the mornings. I suppose the result is caused by enough relaxation of my skin at night.
The bad side of this product is that it's too heavy to use in wet summers, but not hydrating enough in dry winters. Therefore, I don't use it in summer and in winter, I use a light moisturizer right after I apply this. If you find it doesn't penetrate into your skin well, I suggest you do a massage when applying it. It will then absorb into skin gradually without leaving an oil layer on your skin surface.

Moisturizers -The Body Shop - Skin Re-Leaf 24 Hour Treatment Lotion w/ Kinetin [DISCONTINUED]

This product is impressive. I have used it for a week and I found that my combo and sensitive skin has been soften and hydrated. It effects doesn't turn out right after the morning you applied but I noticed it gradually makes effects on my face throughout the week.
Being suffered from too much acne treatment with Retin-A, my skin is always dehydrated, allergic and peeling-off. I am get used to water-based moisturizers such as Biotherm Aquasource green line and L'Oreal Hydrafresh. Since a few years ago I had kept myself out of creamy moisturizers.
But in this X'mas, the body shop released a new Kinetin line in Hong Kong. My boyfriend bought me a bottle of it as one of the X'mas gifts.
At the beginning I didn't feel I would like it because it’s creamy like! I didn't unpack it until a week ago, in a dry morning, my Hydrafresh moisturizers was going to use-out so I did my first try on the Kinetin lotion from my boyfriend.
Surprisingly, I found it not too bad. First of all, its texture is smooth, soft and not greasy at all. It’s mild and with a pleasurable smell too. I felt quite comfortable to apply it onto my face, which is so dehydrated and allergic.
Right after the morning I started to search its review on the net. I found that its active ingredient "Kinetin" is actually a plant-based growth hormone, which claims to be effective to soften fine lines and clear brown spots. This ingredient supposes to be suitable for mature skin, which is not my skin type (young, with a little bit acne). But anyway, I will keep using it in this winter. See how the results will be after I finish a bottle of it.
