Chanel Rouge Allure Laque in Dragon 75 ( 0.20 fl oz or 6 ml for $32 usd) is a true vivid red color. The most beautiful red lip color in the market. Dragon will brightens any skin tones from fair to deep dark, it just an amazing red. Dragon provides a full coverage like a lipstick but comes in a semi fluid like a gloss. The texture is smooth and creamy and glides on my lip effortlessly. However, Dragon is a true red, so applying it will takes time and precise application to get the straight line around the lip. The wand of Rouge Allure Laque is a sponge tip applicator which is easy to use and apply than the bristle applicator. It comes in a rose scent that usually disappears within a few minutes of application. The longevity is AMAZING lasting on my lip through out the entire day of 6 + hours. This is after eating sushi and drinking, which Dragon still remains but with a little of the glossiness disappearing and the true red still remains. With more drinkings and eating through out the day, Dragon still has it red tint on my lip just like a lip stain. Finally, late in the night, when the color becomes a light raspberry tone with no reapplication at all. If you have to get 1 lip product from Chanel, get Dragon Rouge Allure Laque because it will brighten any complexions and it is one of the rare red lip product in the market. Plus, it is quite moisturizing on my lip. If you are a person who feel intimidating wearing a red lipstick like myself, do not let Chanel Dragon prevents you from purchasing it because you will be love this color and it does look AMAZING on all complexions.

Powder -Chanel - Double Perfection Compact

Chanel Double Perfection Compact Natural Matte Power Makeup SPF 10 ( 0.45 oz or 13 g for $50 usd). The powder is very finely milled and is so soft and smooth and applies like a butter on my face. I normally use this as a setting powder when I want my face to stay matte through out the day without much touch ups. I have tried use Double Perfection Compact as a foundation and it provides a matte light to medium coverage but it does not cover most of acne scars and redness like a liquid foundation does. It comes in a sleek black rectangular package with Chanel logo on it. Also, the compact comes with a huge mirror and a sponge for easy touch up and application. Plus, Double Perfection is oil-free which makes the product even better for combination to oily skin people like myself. I am nc 40 in Mac and Barcelona in Nars Sheer Glow, my color for the compact is 80 Medium Beige, which I found has more of a yellow tone and matches my skin nicely than the recommended shade 100 Sun Beige, which I found has more of a red and pink tone. Lastly, Double Perfection Compact foundation is refillable which cost lesser than getting the whole compact. Overall, Chanel Double Perfection Compact is a great foundation powder when you are looking for a scent-free and smooth and buttery powder to set your makeup or use it for a light to medium coverage.

Misc Beauty Tools -Unlisted Brand - Salux Nylon Japanese Bath Towel

Salux bath towel ( $2.49 to $4.49 usd) is a Japansese nylon body cloth. The size is 11 inch x 35 inch or 28 cm x 90 cm and contains 60% nylon and 40% polyester. I found mine at Los Angeles Chinatown in the Wing Hop Fung Ginseng store on the 2nd floor for $3 usd which I was so excited because it is very difficult to find Salux. The package said Salux have also won the Invention prize award in Japan for this cloth. Salux is one of the best body cloth in the market, it does makes my body feel softer just like a bath scrub does. It is very easy to use, just like using a puffy body nylon sponge, but Salux comes in a light long towel that makes washing a body easier especially the back. Salux bath towel feels a little coarse in texture, but it does not scratch or pull the skin in a painful way, the finely coarse texture makes my body softer and cleans my body really well. Also, the coarse texture does provides a nice little massage to my body. Salux towel allowed me to use less bath soap than normally because it foams really well. The drying time is faster also, it is faster than my regular puffy body nylon sponge. Overall, Salux is a great bath cloth providing a soft and clean body but is quite difficult to locate the product, be sure to check most Asian markets.

Lipstick -Chanel - Confidentielle

Chanel Rouge Allure in Confidentielle ( 0.12 oz for $32 usd) is a medium petal pink. The color is an everyday pretty pink suitable for any outfits and makeup look. On my tan mac nc 40 skin tone, Confidentielle resembles Mac Modesty with its medium pink and a slight of mauve undertone kind of my lip but better (MLBB) type. However, Confidentielle has a smooth and creamy application that applies like butter and effortlessly. One of the easiest lipstick application I have try and is comparable to Guerlain Rouge G. There is a rose scent to the lipstick, but it is very mild and would disappears within a few minutes. The longevity is good, giving the color is pink, lasting about 3-4 hours on me with occasional sipping drinks in between. As in all rouge allure, Confidentielle comes in a sleek and elegant black case that needs to be open by pushing on the gold logo on top of the case. If you are looking for an everyday medium pink lipstick in my lip but better (MLBB) type of shade and that will goes with many looks and outfits, you will love Chanel Confidentielle.

Blush -NARS - Torrid

NARS Torrid ( 0.16 oz for $27 usd) is a coral pinkie shimmering blush. Torrid works amazing on a medium to dark skin tones providing a natural glowing peach flush. I am mac nc 40 and sheer glow in barcelona and Torrids give me a beautiful everyday pinkie peach flush that NARS Orgasm or Deep Throat supposed to. Torrid is easy to apply without any chalkiness or powdery. The pigmentation is very intense as in many of NARS blushes, so with 1 swipe, it should be good to cover one cheek and just be sure to blend out the harsh lines. Therefore, Torrid should last a long time even with an everyday usage because you will only need to use sparsely to get the desired look. If you are looking for an everyday blush that will goes with any outfits and looks, you will love Torrid, a natural soft shimmering pinkie coral blush.

Blush -NARS - Mata Hari

NARS Mata Hari ( 0.16 oz for $27 usd) is a matte vivid rose pink. Mata Hari provides a natural rosy pink flush without any shimmer or sheen when you want to look natural and well put together. I am nc 40 in Mac and Barcelona in sheer glow. The pigmentation is intense, you will only need 1 swipe of a product on a brush to get the desired look, just make sure to blend out the harsh lines. The formula is soft and easy to apply with no problem and is not chalky or powdery at all. Also, there is no scent to Mata Hari as in many of NARS products. The product does last over 9 hours on my oily cheek since the pigment is so intense. I do see that Mata Hari will last a very long time even with an everyday usage because you will only need a gentle swipe to get the desired pink flush. The product does not comes with a brush, which I think will be great for traveling and a touch up. If you are looking for a matte pink blush similar to the Barbie look but one that looks natural and has an intense pigment, you will like Mata Hari.

Mascara -Maybelline - Volum' Express The Falsies Waterproof Mascara

Maybelline The Falsies WP mascara (0.25 oz for $5.99 to $7.49 usd) is a voluming mascara that makes lashes 8 times thicker without clumping. The products does makes my thin and short lashes thick and holds the curl really well after 2 coats of application. The wand is flexible and applying the mascara easier to get to the difficult part of the lashes without poking my eyes or accidently smear the mascara all over my eyes like with the general stiff wand. Also, I like how the wand is curve to make an easy application to get the exact lift and curl. The formula is a little thick than Maybelline Full N' Soft WP mascara but The Falsie provides more drama and fullness. It does smears a little on my lower lids but it is easy to clean up. In addition, the dried formula does feel a little dry and crunchy on my lashes, but not as crunchy as the Soft N' Full mascara. The package is cute but look kinds of tacky with the purple plastic thick tube, I wish the package is more thinner and comes in a sleek look. Overall, The Falsie Waterproof is a great mascara if you want to have a full and thick lashes that last and last thru out the days. EDIT 8/5/11: I found that The Falsie WP does provides a beautiful curl and luscious lashes, but it smears very intensely. I would not expect from the water proof formula, but yes it smears at the end of the day for me making my eyes look like a raccoon. I took away 2 stars because of the smearing and the crunchy texture.

Ralph Lauren Polo Blue After Shave (4.2 fl oz for $49.50 usd) is a fresh, clean, crisp and ocean scent. My husband get compliment from his coworkers every time he used it. The texture of Polo Blue is a clear and silky liquid product that is very easy to apply. Also, it helps my husband with his razor burns. On the other hand, Polo Blue does not has a pump bottle and thus it spills when my husband poured it. It would be easier if Polo Blue would comes in a pump or spray bottle. Polo Blue After Shave feels refreshing on his skin. My husband use the Polo Blue After Shave every 2 day and lasted for about 3 year. If you want a refreshing, clean and ocean scent that prevent razor burns and get you a compliment, you might like Polo Blue After Shave.

Zoya Valerie (0.50 fl oz for $8 usd) is a deep royal purple with red, pink and gold small glitters. I love the different tones of glitter on Valerie because it adds a shimmering dimensional effect. The intensity is very opaque, with only 1 coat is all I needed to get the same opaque as the bottle. The finish is a metallic and a shimmer dark purple. The application is smooth and thin which is very simple to apply. Since this is a deep color, I have to be careful to not apply outside my nail because it will creates a sloppy look. The wearing time is good lasting about 8-10 days on my nails with Seche Vite's rapid coat. Valerie is a nice addition to a purple and a gothic tone collection and this can be wear with many looks to reach a sexy seductive vampy and gothic effect. If you are looking for a dark royal purple with a golden glitter, then Valerie is a nice purple for you.

Zoya Charity (0.50 fl oz for $8 usd) is an antique mauve purple with a golden sheen and a duochrome shimmer. This is an unique color that looks interesting on a nail with the shimmering tone. The intensity is very opaque, I only use 1 coat and the color intensity is as the same as the bottle. The application is very smooth and is super easy to work with. I see Charity will please many mauve purple lovers because of the easy application and the color intensity. The wearing time is good lasting 7-9 days on my nails with Seche Vite's rapid coat. Charity is a perfect color if you are looking for a dusty mauve purple polish with a golden sheen.

Zoya Perrie (0.50 fl oz for $8 usd) is cream lavender with a slight touch of purple. Perrie is a true lavender polish that is perfect for spring and summer, but can be wear all year round when you crave a lavender and who does not like a lavender polish. Perrie applies very smooth and the formula is thin so it is very easy to work with. The intensity of the polish is opaque, with only 1 coat I got the same intensity as the bottle but with 2 coats, I got the rich lavender color that Perrie is. Also, the wearing time is good, I got 6-8 days on my hands but longer on my toe nails about 1 month. Perrie is similar to Essie Splash of Grenadine but Perrie is more purple than pink. If you are looking for a cream lavender purple with a hint of pink that looks beautiful on all skin tones and goes with many looks and outfits, then you might want to give Zoya Perrie a try.

Zoya Melodie (0.50 fl oz for $8 usd) is a pink tone nude with a medium size silver glitters. Melodie add a touch of sparkle to a basic nude polish and the silver glitters add a nice dimension as well. The polish is almost opaque, with 1 coat, the intensity is great but with 2 coats the color intensity is the same as the bottle. The application is smooth and thin, so I find this applies very nicely with no problems at all. Melodie will works with any makeup looks and outfits from a sweet to a sexy look because the polish ties the look together with a kick of small silver glitters. The staying power is great lasting me for about 7-9 days with Seche Vite's rapid coat. If you want an interesting beige nude color with small glitters to spice up the everyday nude, then Melodie might be the right one for you.

Zoya Tabitha (0.50 fl oz for $8 usd) is a cream nude beige with a warm undertone polish. Tabitha is a perfect nude that will goes good with all outfit and makeup looks. This is also a great color for a wedding when you a modern and a sweet romantic look. Also, this color will works amazing on people with a warm skin tone because your nails will not look pale and wash out like in other nude beige polishes. The texture is thin and smooth to apply creating no fuss. Tabitha is a semi sheer color, so 2 coats get the same intensity as the color on the bottle. The wearing time is great lasting for 6-9 days on my nails with Seche Vite's rapid coat. Tabitha is a beautiful nude polish for any occasions when you want your nails to look smooth and healthy.

Top/Base Coats -Zoya - get even ridge filling basecoat

Zoya Get Even (0.50 fl oz for $8 usd) is ridge filling base coat. The product comes in a light beige vanilla color. Get Even works to fill an uneven nail ridges to makes a polish go smoothly and evenly. This applies semi sheerly within the 1st coat and I normally use 1 coat of the product because this cover my nail evenly. Get Even does eliminates any small fissures and cracks on the nail beds to get that evenly polish without any bumps. Also, this product does last quite a long time with a weekly use on both hands, mine is still 75 % full and I have been using Get Even for about 1 year and 2 months. In addition, the texture is thin and is easy to apply with no fuss. Zoya Get Even is a nice ridge filling base coat to get a smooth and clean polish.

Zoya nail polish Mischa (0.50 fl oz for $8 usd) is a neutral pink with a touch of gold sheen and silver shimmer. This is an interesting neutral pink color contain a rainbow of colors, a shine of a gold sheen and a silver small glitter, the combination reminded me of fairy dust or a opal gem. It applies sheerly, I use 3 coats to get the same intensity as the bottle, but again Mischa suppose to be a sheer color. The lasting power is good, lasting from 6-8 days with Seche Vite's rapid top coat for me. If you are looking for an everyday work or a conservative look, the light pink muti-dimensional Mischa is for you .
