Love the deep eggplant colour but the texture is horrible. I recommend L'oreal HIP duo in Wicked which has a great dupe of Lulu with much better texture and a lot cheaper too!

I use this for tightlining and it makes my eyes look whiter, and my lashes look longer. It's perfect. I've been wearing it daily. It makes such a huge difference, why should I go without? I use the LM flat brush to apply.

I was looking for a caramel color for my pigmented pink lips. I thought I'd found it in Honeyflower : it looked perfect in the store. However, out in the sunlight I saw all the silver sparkles on my lips and that was very disappointing. The silver just doesn't work with the caramel base color. If they had to put shimmer in there, it should have been gold! I've finally found the perfect sheer caramel in Shiseido's Nuance Beige. It's a little pricier but worth it IMO.

Golden peachy beige. Extremely flattering with my green eyes.This is just like MAC's All that Glitters but without the frost, just soft shimmer. I was looking for a less OTT version of ATG (my go to colour) and this is it! It's expensive at 25 euros but I know I'll use it all up, like I did with ATG, and then of course I'll get a new one! Instant HG! About the packaging, I only have this one GA eyeshadow so I don't mind so much that you have to open it to see the colour, but I know that if I had several, it would be a problem.

Blush -MAC - Fleurry

Several MUAers have complained that this blush is too frosty. On my pale skin I only need to apply it lightly to get good colour payoff so the frost comes out subtle, just a really nice glow. I actually prefer a bit of frost to sparkles on my cheeks! This is a soft peach blush, perfect for Spring.

This is a very pigmented (actually stains my lips!) bright, rich raspberry that flashes blue! On my pigmented lips it comes out a bright magenta. Striking!

Eyeliner -MAC - Powerpoint Eyeliner Pencil in Prussian

This is my first powerpoint and it will probably be my last. I guess my eyelids are pretty dry and I need a pencil that's really soft and just glides on. I'm a lover of MAC kohls. On me this powerpoint doesn't go on evenly at all. The only way I can make it work is by getting it really sharp before applying, then going over the line with my 266 brush to smooth it out. At the counter I hesitated between this and Blooz (a kohl). I swatched the two on my hand and while they are both blue-black, Prussian appeared more vibrant. The blue in it shows up more and it's a bit more shimmery than Blooz, so it looks more luminous on. I'd say Prussian is a prettier colour and I'm wearing it today with Flashtrack over it and it's really a beautiful combo. However I plan to go back for Blooz because I know with kohls I don't need to work so hard to make them work. I'm giving this three points for the colour. I would not repurchase.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Satellite Dreams

This is my favorite purple eyeshadow these days. It's a really vibrant true purple with soft shimmer. It's really well pigmented and stays on. This fall I've been pairing it with MAC Arena, a muted peach, and this combo really makes my green eyes stand out. I'm surprised one reviewer expected this to have sparkles as this is a Veluxe Pearl and VPs don't have sparkle, and I'm surprised another reviewer hoped this would be a navy blue as it's clearly purple in the pot as well as on lids. Maybe she got her colour names mixed up. Oh and someone said this is LE. It's not. It's part of their permanent collection.

This is such a bright happy colour, I wore it all the time last summer. It is a reddish coral, no orange in this. It comes in a turquoise tube which is really cute and summery, with a little mirror on the top which I find very convenient.

This is an average mascara, but what I really don't like about it is that it flakes into my eyes. I really don't appreciate looking into the mirror in the evening and seeing little black flecks on my eyeball! I would not repurchase.

Mascara -Bobbi Brown - No Smudge Mascara

This would be a truly great mascara if it didn't make my eyelashes fall out! I doesn't smudge,has a conveniently small brush, holds a curl, doesn't clump yet thickens but after a few weeks use I started finding lashes on my cotton ball every time I took it off, then a few more lashes on my cheeks in the morning. This is really sad because it could have been HG!

Highlighters -MAC - Beauty Powder in Sunsparked Pearl

Sunsparked Pearl is a neutral beige with very subtle shimmer. I really like this product but I'm pale enough that it shows up on me. The MA applied it all over my face as a finishing powder and while it did add glow I didn't like it that way at all. My face looked darker than my neck and that's not a pretty look. The way I do like to use it is as a subtle, glowy, neutral blush. I like the way it balances a stronger or more colourful eye and I can see myself wearing it a lot this summer.

This is such a lovely coral shade and the texture is wonderfully creamy. It could be my HG summer shade if it weren't for the sickening scent. It's not actually an ugly fragrance but it's just too strong and I can't have something so overpowering right under my nose. So I found a similar shade and similar texture in Shu lipstick #544, but with a much more subtle scent. Now this one could be my HG!

Eyeliner -MAC - Smolder eye kohl

A lot of reviewers say Smolder is the blackest black. I don't agree. When you smudge this you get a sort of blue-green tint that's neither here nor there. A black kohl should smudge to a neutral deep charcoal and just add depth to whatever eyeshadows you wear over it without changing their colour. For me, the purpose of a kohl pencil is to be smudged. I don't like this kohl pencil and will not repurchase.

Eye Shadow -MAC - All That Glitters

I've been wearing this almost every day ever since I bought it because it's great for a quick, no fuss look. I often wear it alone as a wash and it really lights up my eyes. It looks really amazing with Trax in the crease. You must try this combo if you have green eyes! I've already carved a pretty good dip in this eyeshadow, so of course I will buy again!
