Primer/ Corrector -GOSH - Velvet Touch foundation primer

You know that look of dead skin rubbing off when you have a shower? Where its like clumps and peels..and well its gross either way. This is exactly what the primer does when I apply it to my face..clumps and glides around my face like its dead skin...and I have no idea why. Its not as if my face is dirty before I apply it. I clean it well, and my face is so dry I couldn't see that being the case anyhow. It does feel smooth on my skin, but in a rubber silicone kind of way which leads me to believe its probably not what I want to be applying to my sensitive, dry skin. The price was alright, about 20 bucks. But for the mediocre job it did and final look it gave I think ill go without. If anyone can think of a decent primer for me I'd appreciate it :)

Cleansers -Aveeno - Positively Radiant Cleanser
rated 3 of 5

This product is a combination between what I want and don't want in a cleanser. It does make my face smoother after using, however it also tends to dry me out and make my skin flaky. It doesn't even out my skin tone or make my skin 'radiant'! It is in a pump bottle which I love, but it just isn't for me, and is actually quite expensive. I used to love Aveeno products, but as I get older I notice it isn't strong enough or hydrating enough. On to something new I suppose.

Moisturizers -Ponds - Dry Skin Cream
rated 4 of 5

I use this cream after I apply my retinal cream to keep my already dry flaky skin from becoming worse...and its working :) the cream is rather thick and oily, which is what I wanted since my face is dry. So if you have oily skin I might not use it. Also I should add I do use it during the day, but only if I plan on wearing makeup since makeup dries my face out. It keeps my skin smooth and soft. This review is a bit premature so when I'm near done the container I will update! Also I hate tub creams. As nice as a tub looks compared to a tube it is very unhygienic. Regardless, I purchased this cream for 5 bucks and I will most definitely repurchase :)

Moisturizers -Neutrogena - Healthy Skin Anti Wrinkle SPF 15

So this is a premature review but I will be sure to update in a few weeks, or as soon as I see results. I'm on my fourth day of using this product, but I am already quite pleased ...not because my fine lines are disappearing (which is what I want above all) but because it hasn't irritated my skin or turned it red at all. EXCEPT around my eyes. But this it to be expected considering its not for your eyes. My skin has felt smoother and softer. I should tell you I also have been using ponds dry skin moisturizer on top of the neutrogena cream. I like that the packaging is in a hygienic tube, rather than tub. And if all goes well I will most definitely be re purchasing. Also I should mention this cream is normally 25 dollars at my local drugstore, but I only paid 17, which made me happy :)

Lip Treatments -Lise Watier - Spa Fondant
rated 3 of 5

I was looking for a lip treatment that would hydrate and moisturize my lips through the dry winter. I have heard good things about the product and since I found it on sale (20 dollars is kind of steep for lip gloss IMHO) for 8 bucks I figured why not. The product feels like it simply sits on my lips, not sink in and does not feel hydrating. Its actually dries my lips out after a while. I don't find its plumps at all either. As for packaging I found it was quite cute ( I have the clear minty one) and the smell is lovely. Not too strong, actually remind of a specific gum. I will probably still apply it once in a while, however over top of a better product. I will not repurchase.
