Primer/ Corrector -Laura Mercier - Foundation Primer Radiance

Love, love, love this primer! I use it under my Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer (the illuminating one) and my skin looks exactly the way I want - it glows and looks almost young. (I say almost because at 58, ''young" would be a real stretch.) Definately worth the price. If you're over 45 and you have dry skin, do try this under your foundation or tinted moisturizer.
Tinted Moisturizer -Laura Mercier - Tinted Moisturizer SPF 20 - Illuminating

Like most of us, I've tried all kinds of foundations looking to make my skin "dewy" and "glowy", etc. This tinted moisturizer does the trick! I use it over the Laura Mercier illuminating primer (not sure of hte name at the moment) and the combination is wonderful. Many compliments. I finally found something that makes my almost-60-year-old skin look youngish. (I inherited great skin genes, lucky me, but still, at 58, one needs lots of help!) After using this, I'd never buy anything else.
Mascara -Christian Dior - DiorShow Mascara Waterproof

This mascara was a huge disappointment! I was hoping for more for my poor little short and straight lashes. It didn't plump up my lashes or make them appear longer, even after repeated coats. And the worst part was that it wasn't waterproof enough to hold the curl. For me, that's a complete deal-breaker. It's going back to Sephora tomorrow.

This mascara is really disappointing. Absolutely nothing special at all. I'm returning mine to the drugstore. It's useless.
Treatments (Eye) -Elizabeth Arden - Ceramide Eyes Time Complex Caps

This has turned out to be my HG eye serum product. I don't expect anything to get rid of dark circles or firm up my skin, but I do expect hydration and a smoothing of fine lines, which I most definately got from this product. The little capsules are a pain to use, but they keep the product fresh. (This is necessary because of all the ingredients that are sensitive to air and light.) I'm on my second jar and would most definately repurchase. This is a serum, not a moisturizer on its own, so combined I use this first, wait a minute or two for it to be absorbed and then I use my regular moisturizer over it. I also use one capsule morning and night - any excess gets used on my other fine (or not so fine) lines. If you're over 50, give this a try.
I've used Bag Balm for years on my legs after I shave. It's too thick for every day use, but after I shave my legs are so dry and flaky and this stuff just sinks in (with a little rubbing) and makes all the difference in the world. Over the years I've used it as lip balm (still do), as an extra layer of moisture on my face (very thin layer) when I go out to shovel snow and to get rid of an itchy rash on parts of my hands. If someone could make a lotion out of this stuff, I'd never switch body lotion again.
Lipstick -Clinique - Almost Lipstick - Black Honey

I bought this because it seemed like a "must have"; not true at all for me anyway. Just a plain old lip gloss. Nothing special at all. I returned it.
Cleansers -Clinique - Take the Day Off Cleansing Milk

I'm awfully diisappointed wiith this cleanser because it didn't remove my foundation completely. I use it sometimes as simply a cleanser when I don't have any foundation on, but that's it. Don't waste your money on this!
I love this product too. My only complaint (besides the sky-high price) is the packaging. Because the bottle's opaque, you suddenly run out of product with no warning. When this happened to me recently, I took the bottle apart and found I have at least another week's worth of product. (By the way, you can find some great deals on this product on Ebay.)
