Tinted Moisturizer -Jane - Be Pure Aguaceuticals

i too got this on clearance. I bought it to use as a tinted sunscreen for white water rafting. And it did pretty well! I used the fairest they had and it looked fine. BUT GUESS WHAT? This stuff works even better on your LEGS! It made my veins and mosquito bites appear lighter and gave me an all around even skin tone! It worked better than the sally hansen airbrush-leg-can. And it lasts all day too! It gave me the balls to wear a short skirt today. I went back and bought up the beige/medium and dark tones so i can fake tan my legs. It was $1.49 a tube :) Packaging is easy and sanitary. I'll be going to the other drugstores to buy up their stock as well, so you better get yours ladies :). by the way, sweethearts, if you get a flakey face with tinted moisturizers, try using a bit of your regular moisturizer first. the tinted ones will make dry skin more obvious otherwise. ;)

Bronzers -Physicians Formula - Solar Powder SPF 20 Bronzer

I have the color in light bronzer. Easy open compact with a button. This has three colors in it, matte light tan, a speck of shimmery golden yellow and a matte darker tan. It's wonderful and lasts. People were complimenting me on my 'tan'. It has a vented compartment on the bottom with a mirror and a brush. Took off one lippy cause the brush is bleh. As if we every use the brushes that come with these products anyway. . . ;D

Pressed Powders -MAC - Mineralize Skinfinish Natural - Medium Dark
pattasy 6/5/2009 7:20:00 AM
Mineralized skin finish in Shimpagne. I use this everyday on my cheekbones and sometimes shoulders using a coastal scents blush brush. This is the way to liven up any matte makeup face! A little goes a long way, lasted a few months without hitting pan yet. Light tan marbelized color with very fine gold flecks in it, looks beautiful in the pan and on the skin. My favorite, but I wish i could have gotten the other colors to try, they are discontinued. :( And my precious shimpagne is going for a minimum of $50 on some discount mac sites. what a bummer. -_-

Makeup Brushes -Coastal Scents - Brushes

This is for the IB103 Flat Bronzer. Use this to apply mineral makeup foundation and veil. I have two of them, so when i skip out on washing one, i grab the other. Very little shedding. The flat top can pick up alot of product at once and buffs wonderfully into my skin. Cuts the application time in half due to only having to dip it once!! :) This brush allows for heavy coverage faster that trying to build it using a dome kabuki. I'm going to buy more in case they get discontinued, i don't know what i would do without it. :) This is my absloute favorite brush, my friends use this too with their bare escentials stuff. :) :) :)

Very nice for defined crease work. Soft yet firm. Washed several times and still no shedding. :) I own alot of the italian badger series and they all have this expensive look about them yet they are sooo low priced!

Concealers -NYX - Full Coverage Concealer Jar
pattasy 6/5/2009 6:35:00 AM
I bought these in fair, light, beige and lavender. They are creamy, smooth and dry to a powdery finish when applied. They cover well, but cake a bit on me. I think this would be fine for the younger girls with no fine lines. I prefer concealers that don't dry that quickly so i have time to blend. Speaking of dry, regadless of using eyecream, i did find these to overdrying. Packaging is a jar with a screw lid, nice and sanitary. Better than alot of other drugstore brands and i can't argue with the price. Won't buy again, though.

Palettes -MAC - Shadowy Lady Quad - Cult of Cherry
pattasy 6/5/2009 6:15:00 AM
This was my first MAC quad. I'm not familiar with the textures of their eyeshadows, but i had a bit of a hard time with this one. I bought it a few months ago, tried it and let it migrate to the bottom of the drawer. Then i whipped it out recently (now that i'm more knowledgable) and still felt no renewed bliss. Smudged violet is the best of the bunch, it goes on very nicely. Shadowy lady is the most stubbornest, it takes alot of effort to blend. Lightfall does not show up but it does a good job at softening the edges. Deep truth is pretty, but to me looks best used wet as a liner. The color combination is gorgeous and the staying power is impressive. I did a look with these and got lots of compliments. But they are so hard to blend! My poor eyelids were sore regardless of the soft brushes i used. I wanted to like this quad, but i don't see any sense in keeping it just for Smudged violet. Julieg713 used shadowy lady in one of her youtube vids and confirmed that it takes a bit of work to blend, so at least i know it isn't just me. I don't reach for this quad often so i might be putting it up for swap soon.
