Eye Shadow -Wet 'n' Wild - 8-pan Palette "Comfort Zone"

I'm not sure how I feel about this. I like the colors, and the pay off is excellent. Not to mention it is dirt cheap. The problem is that the colors wipe right off. And they crease something awful. An eyelid primer makes things a little bit better, but not much.
I have this in #230 Refined Rose, and it works well with my very cool complexion. I don't use the dark shade very much, but the other two are great. The middle makes a great blush color for me, and the light color is a good highlight, with just a tiny bit of shimmer. I'm not a big fan of too much shimmer, and this has just the right amount for me.
4.5 stars I love this color! I have very pale skin, so it stands out a lot! I like wearing dark lipstick, though, so it works for me. It comes out a nice, dark wine color on me. It stays relatively well. I need to reapply after eating obviously, but other than that, it seems to have good staying power. I can't give it a 5, because it is a tiny bit drying. I've come to expect that from a matte, lipstick though, and I already have trouble with very dry lips, so really only a half star. For most it shouldn't even be a problem.
I have this in #080 Strawberry Shortcake. It comes out a very bright pink. Think Barbie lips, and you've got it. It's a fun color for me, because I'm pretty pale and can just pull it off. I wish I had this in more colors, because I love the way it feels on my lips. It's very creamy, and it makes my lips feel super moisturized. This is especially good for the winter, because I have very dry skin, especially during those months. It lasts longer than I expected for this type of lip color. It isn't sticky, though. Obviously it doesn't last like a longwear lipstick, but it doesn't just wipe off immediately like some similar type lipsticks I have.
I bought this in #010 Ultimate Blush. I have several problems with it. First, is the smell. It has a very strong, floral, almost fruity smell. If you don't mind smell, then that's fine. I do not like it when my lipstick smells. It's right under my nose, and I can smell it all day long. Second is the color. I thought it looked like a nice pink, and it comes out a nice, slightly darker than my very pale lips, and it looks nice against my extremely pale skin. Unfortunately, it has shimmer. Not like a gentle make-your-lips-stand-out shimmer. An I-bought-this-in-a-Hello-Kitty-makeup-kit shimmer. I'm sure other colors are fine, but this color is horrendous. I give it a 3, however, because it did last reasonably long (obviously not 14 hours, but let's be real) without over-drying my lips. If I was just rating for color, I would give it a 1. If you don't like shimmer, avoid 010 Ultimate Blush. It doesn't look shimmery on the outside of the tube, but since I couldn't open it at the drug store to see (and smell), I wasn't aware.
I love this product! I use it whenever my hair starts to feel a little bit too damaged. Once my hair has dried, it feels like silk. It smells mostly like coconuts, so if you aren't a fan of that, this probably isn't for you. Otherwise, I would recommend it to anyone. The only problem I have with this is the packaging. Mine came in a nice little squeeze bottle, but there is no covering to the opening. It just had a sticker over the hole in the store, and now that the sticker has lost it's stickiness, the hole is open. I can't help but wonder if some kind of nasty bathroom germs are getting in. So I'd rate it a 4.5.
This is my third time buying the two big bottles of Mane 'N' Tail (shampoo and conditioner) so I figured it was high time I gave them a review. I first used this one summer when my hair was reasonably long, but I wanted to grow it long enough to donate to Locks of Love. I used the shampoo and conditioner, and I felt my hair grew much faster. It didn't grow obscenely fast like some people may claim, but it definitely grew faster. My hair felt healthy and clean, looked really shiny, and it grew quite quickly, which was nice. So I'd definitely recommend this to anyone looking to either grow their hair out or just for healthy-looking hair. It's not too expensive, either. I got the two big bottles for about 7.50 a piece and the bottles are huge. Oh, and I did end up donating my hair - 11 inches. :-)
I decided to use this shampoo/conditioner duo in order to grow my hair out from a pixie cut. I had also dyed my hair and was letting that grow out. I dyed my hair a month before starting use of this product and found that it had grown about a half inch during that time period, which is average hair growth for everyone, and a little bit less than average for me, but my hair was quite damaged at this point from frequent dying, so I'm not surprised. I used the product for a month and saw no increase in hair growth. I used it another month, and nothing. I'd saw I used it about 3 months before I decided that my hair was not growing any quicker than before, and I don't like the way it made my hair feel. So I switched to using my regular shampoo. I'd recommend Mane 'n' Tail to anyone looking to grow their hair out. I started using it one summer and my hair grew like CRAZY using that stuff. Obviously not at outrageous speeds like some people will say, but definitely faster than usual and definitely faster than with this.
This is definitely the best foundation I've ever bought. I'm a drugstore makeup person, since I don't have money for the higher-end stuff, and this was amazing! I bought this in buff, and it matches my skin tone perfectly. It covers well without feeling too thick and gross on my skin. It didn't irritate my sensitive skin or give me break-outs. And finally, it lasted! It says 16 hours, and I don't generally wear foundation for that long, but it definitely lasted all day for me. I put it on early in the morning before I went to volunteer for a children's musical. I was stuck in a hot room for several hours curling hair and putting makeup on energetic little kids, and my makeup didn't budge. It stayed the entire day until I took it off that night. I have absolutely no complaints about this makeup. I love it. It doesn't seem to go on well with my makeup brush, so I use my fingers, and that seems to work pretty well for me. I also like that it has a pump instead of just coming out of a bottle. I always feel with open bottles that they may be a bit more prone to getting germs in them.
Foundations -Maybelline - Dream Nude Airfoam Foundation

I bought this product a few months ago with high hopes. It was good in that it gave coverage without feeling heavy on my face, which I hate, but other than that is awful. I have it in 150, Classic Ivory. I would have had difficulty finding which color I am because the packaging is not clear, but I have some other Maybelline foundation in the same color. Unfortunately, while the color is the same number and name as the other foundation, it is much more orange. I thought maybe if I waited until spring when I'd gotten a little color it might look better, but no such luck. It simply does not match my skin. Another problem is the packaging in general is terrible. When I first got it, I shook it for what felt like an hour, though it was probably more like 10 min. I'd heard there had been problems with it not mixing well, and I wanted to make sure I really had it well mixed. The first pump was pure white, the second pure orange, and the third was ivory. It also sprayed me all over with little flecks of foundation. It continues to do this every time I use it. So I would not buy this again. It is much too orange and the spraying means I have to be super careful when putting it on. Not worth it.
Makeup Brushes -Essence of Beauty - Foundation Brush

I have this foundation brush as well as a few of the other brushes from essence of beauty because they are so cheap at the drugstore. It works very well with the cream foundation that I use in the winter and cleans up pretty well, too. The bristles don't fall out too much, either, which is nice. The reason I give it a 3 is because the black part the holds the brush separate from the white handle. And this isn't a random occurance, because it happened on the double-ended blush & powder brush I have from them, too. If you're looking for cheap brushes, I'd consider e.l.f. I have some of their brushes, which are dirt cheap, and they have held up very well for ages.
Eye Makeup Remover -Almay - Non-Oily Eye Makeup Remover Pads

I have mixed feelings about this. On the one hand, it takes off all of your eye makeup, even the tough waterproof stuff. It doesn't leave a nasty oil residue that makes your eyes all shiny, either, like some makeup removers. On the other hand, it stings my eyes. Maybe it's just me, because I have very sensitive eyes, but I have to try VERY hard not to get it into my eyes or else it stings like crazy. I can't find anything else that works as well, though, so until I do, I'll be buying this.
I got this mascara for free at a college campus event where they were passing them out. Lucky huh? Anyways, I seemed to have an odd problem with them. I put the mascara on, and it got into my contacts. Now I have been using mascara while wearing contacts for the past 6 years, and I have never had a problem of getting mascara in my contacts. But with this, it got in my contacts a little bit after I applied it and would not wash off with contact solution. I figured it was a fluke and tried again later the next day. Same thing. Now I'm not sure what the deal is, because my roommates all wear contacts and had no problem with the mascara. The day after I switched to my old mascara with no problems. My roommates all wear contacts, but the mascara was not a problem for them. I don't know if it's my particular brand of contacts or what.
I have this product in reliable raspberry #010. It looks like a red in the bottle, but comes out dark pink. I personally don't like this, but I think a lot of people might. For me, it is annoying because when you first put it on, it goes on really sticky and takes forever to dry. I hate sticky feeling lip color. The other thing I dislike is how much you have to put on. If you only put a bit on, like just enough to coat the lips, it will crack throughout the day. However, if you do really put on a lot of it, I will last you all day, through eating, drinking, kissing, etc. So for me, it's a 3, but for some it could be a 4 or a 5 if these things don't bother you.
I have this product in gothic, which is a nice, bright red. I am a big proponent of lip stain, because I hate the feel of lip gloss or lipstick on my lips. This is one of my favorite lip stains because it comes with the balm on the end. Lip stains tend to dry out my lips, but this comes with a handy balm to remedy that. Unfortunately, due to poor packaging, the balm fell right off of mine!! It isn't the longest wearing of lip colors, but as a stain it lasts pretty well. Other than that, I love it.
