Shampoo -Suave - Professionals Almond & Shea Butter

I have brown, fine, colored treated hair that is about to my bra strap in length. This a very harsh shampoo IMO. I purchased this after reading some great reviews and although i did LOVE it at first, i am down to a little less then 1/2 a bottle and my hair feels very dry and has lost its softness. In the beginning my hair was shiny, lustrous, soft and had a ton of movement and had zero tangles. Now its just blah and looks limp and lifeless. Time to change to something else.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE this mascara! I was a little skeptical because i normally dont like MAC mascara's. This stuff is fabulous! I use the fat brush first, and it doesnt take much to coat your lashes, a few swipes with the wand and you have deep dark black thick lashes, i love a dramatic lash so this stuff is great for that. Once i get my lashes to my desired thickeness i use the pink handled wand and its a less dense brush and i use it to define and seperate my lashes. I love this stuff! Way to go MAC!
I just bought this after watching a yourtube video. This stuff is fantastic. I have never had a loose eyeshadow stay on so long and pigmented before. The application was a bit strange, i used my normal UD primer potion and then i applied the glitter glue and my eye lid felt a little tacky, i applied my loose eyeshadow and it took so well. Literally like its glued on. This stuff is amazing! I love the package its in and the price isnt too bad either.
I bought it yesterday and used it this morning, i was skeptical at first and i read some reviews and this sounds like a great iron. It is soooo nice and all it takes is one pass through my hair and its straight and shiny! Think of a butter knife slicing through warm butter, that is how smooth the glide was through my hair. I have tried every drugstore brand flat iron, i have tried CHI and the CHI Turbo, i have a Le Angelique, HerStyler, and a GHD and none have satisfied me quite like the Sedu. I got it on sale for $139.95 with a 20% off coupon. If you have the $$ i def would reccomend this iron.
Eyeliner -L'Oreal - Extra-Intense Liquid Pencil Eyeliner

So i needed a new eyeliner for my waterline, i normally use Stila Kajal liner and i love it except for the fact that its not long wearing. So i saw this L'Oreal liner on a lot of youtube videos and it looked like good stuff. I used it Monday and my eyes were very dry and red that day, that evening i took my eye makeup off and my eyes felt fine. Tuesday i used my Stila liner, no issues, today i used my L'Oreal liner, my eyes are sooo irritated, dry and red. I hade to go buy eye drops and i have been using them every 30 mins to an hour. I have 2 more hrs of work to go before i can take my eye make up off and i hope it doesnt get worse. Maybe its just a specific reaction that i am having but i have NEVER had any reactions to eye makeup before.
Powder -Bare Escentuals - BareMinerals foundation #2.3 Medium Beige
patricia225 9/27/2010 11:52:00 PM
I used this foundation for 1 week, and after day #5 i had 3 huge pimples on my forehead and 1 giganto pimple on my nose. I rarely break out, very rarely. If i get a pimple its small and usually gone in 2 days. This stuff broke me out bad. Once i stopped using it, my face cleared up. I noticed that with this foundation, it was cakey on me in my oily areas, forehead, around my nose. The coverage is a pain in the butt because you have to keep applying it, swirl tap buff swirl tap buff over and over until you reach the desired coverage, it takes too long. I dont like my makeup thick and cakey but i do like my skin tone to be evened out, this does not do it for me. I have been using MAC studio fix powder FOREVER.....i have gone back to that.
Foundations -Make Up For Ever - HD High Definition Foundation
patricia225 6/15/2010 12:55:00 PM
This foundation is best applied with your finger tips, i find that it blends a bit more easily if you use your fingers. the warmth of your fingers help the foundation melt into your face for easier blending. This leaves my skin looking dewey and it evens out my skin tone. I kind of had this 'glow' to my face once applied. i use a very light hand with this because with me, a little goes a long way. I have used this on and off for about a year, it never has broken me out and its a very buildable foundation. I prefer a lighter coverage so i use a very little squirt so this bottle will last me quite a awhile.
I read all the great reviews of this and i could not wait to try it out. I bought the small bottle for $18 and i am so glad that i did. This made my hair feel very coated/dirty and heavy and made it a pain to blow dry. My hair was not soft, it tangled super easily and left a film on my hands when i would run my fingers through my hair. I could not wash this stuff out of my hair the next day. My hair is fine, highlighted and naturally curly which i straighten every day. i would not buy this again, definently not worth $18 for the small bottle. Oh and when you spray the bottle, the stuff is so thick that it squirts out the sides of the spray nozzle cap.
Primer/ Corrector -Too Faced - Primed & Poreless Skin Smoothing Face Primer
patricia225 8/20/2009 11:52:00 PM
Oh how i loved this primer....it made my face feel like silk...i love love loved it! Unfortunatly.....this made me break out. I used it for two days and i had pimples popping up all over the my face, i stopped using the primer and surprise surprise, the pimples went away. I am sure it will work great for some but not for me :-(
Fabulous mascara. I don't know what the other reviews are about because the wetness of this mascara makes it so much easier to apply. I get gorgeous seperated lashes that literally touch my eyebrows.
I tried this and the first day i sort of liked it, my curls clumped together nicely but i did notice a slight roughness buildup feeling on my curls. The second day, i realized i don't like this. It leaves a buildup and does not apply smoothly. I am used to mousse that distributes easily, this does not. Its like once applied my hair tangles and i can't run my fingers through my curls while applying product. I think this gives so much build-up that my roots were completly flat on top and it looked like i had not washed my hair in 3 days, its looked greasy even though it did not feel greasy. This is going back to the salon.......hopefully i can return it.
This shampoo is excellent for curly hair. The smell is not so wonderful but it is tolerable. The first time i used this, in conjunction with the conditioner i got so many compliments on my curls. I hope it keeps working this good. If your a curlyhead i would definently give this one a try.
I am not sure what this is supposed to do.....the sales lady said that it helps make your skin smooth so that when you apply eyeshadow it goes on smoothly. It said that it reduces lines and puffiness and dark circles.....well, i did not notice any of that. The most it did for me was make the skin around my eye feel like silk.
Mascara -Maybelline - Great Lash Mascara Blackest Black
patricia225 3/23/2004 1:11:00 PM
I have this in the curved brush and i really had no reason gfor buying it. I remembered a long time ago my sister used this and i loved the way her lashes looked so i figured what the heck. I curl my lashes first, apply three coats and WOW, i have really pretty defined lashes. This stuff is really great!!
