Lip Treatments -Fresh - Fresh Brown Sugar Lip Polish

This product is a must-have for me in the winter. Despite my constant moisturizing my lips get flakey - looks and feels terrible. This does the trick - exfoliates so my lips are smooth and I can wear lipstick again! I have read reviews saying that you can make this at home - maybe you can, but I know I won't. Also, this comes in a little package I can carry around in my purse for those days I forget to exfoliate and realize too late (i.e. already at work) that I really need to. AND it last forever. I actually bought this last year in a holiday package that came with the lip treatment so this is a smaller size than normal. Will last for a long time - however, should I run out, I will definitely buy again.

Love! I was looking for a replacement for my MAC Studiofix which I have used forever despite never really finding the right colour. MUFE has introduced this at the perfect time. The formulation is similar to Studiofix except it does not oxidize. It seems disapppear into my face. Colour is great. I was matched to 118 (neutral beige) which matches very well to my skin. I was debating between 118 (more yellow) and 120 (more pink) and chose 118 because I am slightly yellow. (I will get 123 in the summer when I am tanned.) For reference I've worn: NC30/35 or NW25 in MAC No. 3 in MUFE Liquid Lift I like that I can put in on in the morning and carry it in my purse for occasional touch-ups. Doesn't turn oily, long lasting, perfect coverage. I do think it is on the expensive side CAD42 which is pricer than MAC and you get slightly less product, however, I think it is superior and worth the extra $$.

I can't get past the smell. I put it on before I went to bed and couldn't fall asleep because the smell was terrible. I got up and scrubbed my face to get it off. Oh Hope in a Jar, what are they putting inside you?
Foundations -Make Up For Ever - HD High Definition Foundation

I wanted to love this foundation after all the reviews, but I didn't. I didn't like the way it looked on my skin - made my pores look bigger and just seemed cakey. I don't like foundation that looks like you are wearing foundation and thats what this is. It seems to highlight any imperfections - the opposite of what you want a foundation to do. I don't understand the hype. I went back to Sephora and the MUA told me to try MUFE Liquid Lift foudation - which is amazing. I think this is also the foundation Kim Kardashian orginally named on her blog. It was discontinued for awhile but they have brought it back. If you thinking MUFE HD isn't all what it is hyped up to be try the MUFE Liquid Lift which will makes your skin look really great.
Finally I found my HG foundation. 1. Perfect colour for my too pink to be yellow and too yellow to be pink neutral skin. The MUA chose #2 for me which I thought would be too light bc of the name (ivory) but it is perfect. For reference I am NW25 or NC30 in MAC. It has not oxidised on me so I don't look like I am wearing a mask. (I love MAC foundations but I always end up looking either too orange or too pale). 2. Looks amazing on your skin. I tried the MUFE HD and hated how it looked (in my opinion the HD sits on your skin, makes pores bigger) Not this, it looks beautiful on and your face just looks perfect. Not completely matte or dewy -somewhere in between. The website states it lifts and is suitable for 'mature' skin - I agree as it smooths out fine lines. 3. Coverage: medium to full. Very buildable. I personally do not like putting it on very full but you definitely can. I think this is also the foundation that Kim Kardashian orginally named on her blog. Liquid Lift was discontinued for awhile but they have brought it back. I love it and if you are having a problem finding the perfect foundation, run don't walk to the nearest Sephora and get a sample. You will not regret it.
Makeup Brushes -Sephora - Professionnel Platinum Angled Eyeliner Brush #23

Thank you to the Sephora MUA who recomended this brush for easier application of winged eyeliner look. I had so many problems before but this brush (and a youtube video recomending the use of clear tape or paper on the side of your eyes for a cleaner line) really worked!
Deep Throat is exactly what I wanted. A little colour that does look too much when I have a tan. It looks natural. I love it and th MUA who recommended it!
I get so many compliments on this eyeshadow. The lighter colour has a very slight peach pigmentation which I love. Combined with the copper colour it just blends beautifully. Many times I use the lighter colour on its own so I hit the pan way before the bronze. I wish they sold these separately. EDIT: Love these shadows! The bronze is also fantastic. I have repurchased 3 times and will again!
I used to love this product. Bought it for ten years and used to have loads of compliments. Loved the new vanilla (and the old vanilla too). My problem is that something in this product does not last like it used to. I put it on and don't smell it anymore an hour later. What did they do to this product? After buying several new bottles to test it - I have to stop. It just does not have staying power anymore.
