I broke out using this product. It blends really well but I simply did not respond to it as well as others.

I got this as a gift and it I love its invigorating scent! It's perfect for mornings but it can really sting your eyes if it gets too close. It's also easy to get it in your eyes because it has a slick, slime-like consistency when it's wet. Probably the citrus.
Eyeliner -Smashbox - Jet Set Waterproof Eyeliner - Dark Brown

I bought this when I realized that I had better control with an eyeliner brush than a pencil. This is my first pot eyeliner and I've had good results so far and it doesn't seem as harsh as liquid eyeliner. It doesn't tug and it applies smoothly. It does smudge though, and I'm a chronic eye-rubber. ;(
Tinted Moisturizer -Sonia Kashuk - Radiant Tinted Moisturizer SPF 15

Surprising, surprising surprise! I got this on a whim because my Shiseido TM was running out (and running old...4 years!!) This TM goes on light, stays on, and a great for people who, like me, are shy of foundations and powders. My skin isn't horrible (no acne, fairly even) but I do have random blemishes and freckles. This TM lightens it and hides it some, but I'm absolutely impressed. I was unsure about using it because it's sparkly, but it actually makes your skin look very radiant!
Eyeliner -Sonia Kashuk - Eye Definer in Iced Coffee

4 lippies because it does smear and smudge under your eye even if you applied it on your top lid, so wearing it means that you have to watch out for yourself. But it does go on smooth and doesn't tug or pull. I'm no make-up pro but applying this eyeliner on my top lid has been the easiest for me out of all eyeliners. There's no fuss and it also gives off a cute sparkle, so it's perfect for a night out or just for casual wear. Also...it's CHEAP!
I started using this cleanser from all these reviews and they're not kidding! My skin feels fresh and after cleaning with this cream, I noticed a lot less dirt on my cotton pads from my toner. I use it in the shower and the formula's thick enough to leave your skin feeling moist and supple. My skin is brighter, firm, and resilient now. I guess I found my magic jar!
Treatments (Eye) -Korres - Evening Primrose Eye Cream

My favorite eye cream. It stays on heavy but isn't greasy, and you know your skin's absorbing it. Try putting it on and in 10 or less minutes it'll have soaked in your skin. I have eczema-prone skin, I used to have breakouts around my eyes and it'd look like someone punched me out. But with this product I haven't had a breakout or have I seen any more dark circles. Feels refreshing!
Waste of money for me. I am not into the bluish-gray shade this eyeliner gives off. I do understand women are into the dark smokey look but I like to be minimalist in my make-up. It smears all over you and I constantly wiped under my eyes to get the dark shade off. I don't pull off the emo-tragic look very well (because I smile a lot, and my personality is very giddy) It was more of a hassle, if anything, to wear it. I thought this would be worth the money but I guess it's all about trial and error!
Favorite eyeliner. I apply this to my waterline. I'm Asian but using black eyeliners often have a bluish-indigo shade to it, which looks horrible and unnatural on me (especially when it smears). My hair's black but has more ruddy color in it (brown) than blue. I've been looking for a cheap, dark brown eyeliner since I used up my mom's Estee Lauder years back. This one takes the cake for me. It applies beautifully, gives me the dark lash look without overdoing it. I spent $30ish on a MAC eyeliner before and was horribly disappointed because the consultant gave me Smolder, but I'm too dark for Teddy, so I would either blend the two or get that blue shade again. Thanks L'Oreal! The only problem is...it's a bit tricky to find because my drugstores didn't carry it. I stumbled in Ulta and got my eyeliner!
Cleansers -Aveeno - Ultra-Calming Foaming Cleanser

This is my second time buying this, and I use it in the shower. It makes my face feel squeaky clean and does not burn it in any way, but after using toner I do find some traces of makeup left. I've only used this because it's one of few cleansers that have not stung my face.
Pressed Powders -MAC - Select Sheer Pressed Powder
parvastella22 1/1/2009 6:28:00 AM
The consultant that recommended this powder for me did not match my skin tone right, and the powder does not cover enough. Although it feels light, it's probably due to how fine it is and for some people that may be a very good thing. It also wears off too quickly. After even an hour, the powder would easily smear against my cellphone, which I find kinda gross. I give it 3 lippies based on the quality of the product and that it didn't cause my skin to break out, but it simply did not work for me.
It clumps and the smell sticks with you for some reason. I was really disappointed to have spent $20 on it, but the good thing that I do like about it is that it's extremely easy and clean to take off. I bear with the smell for everyday use.
I received this for a present and I didn't want to disappoint, so I gave it a try. The mascara doesn't blend well for me although it doesn't smudge or clump at all. It just doesn't deliver enough volume and thickness for me to really show a difference in my lashes.
Moisturizers -Dermalogica - Intensive Moisture Balance

This is the only moisturizing product (other than Philosophy) that hasn't stung my cheeks. I bought the largest tube of this and it has lasted me about a YEAR with frequent, 2x a day use. I have thirsty skin and one pea-sized amount to each side of my face was enough to moisturize. I have eczema-prone skin around my eyes and I have never suffered any breakouts with this product.
I used this because my mom is a big Olay fan. I tried to use Olay when I hit puberty, but it never worked out for me. The normal therapy cream (pink) stung my skin...and unfortunately this one did too. I stopped using moisturizers for a week and decided to give the sensitive formula a try. It did leave my skin feeling fresh, clean, and moisturized for the night, but after a few days the stinging came back.
