Mascara -L'Oreal - Bare Naturale Mascara
paridaryayi13 12/28/2009 3:52:00 PM
I have naturally long dark curly lashes and most mascaras make my lashes look fake so i am a lover of clear mascaras, but I like to get some extra effect for special nights out. I came across this as some have mentioned in the dollarama (Canada) for 2$ and could not resist buying since i always wanted to try it. I was pleasantly surprised it made my lashes a little thicker and longer exactly what i wanted it gives the perfect natural yet enhanced look. I have a very great lash comb which I always use but with this mascara i do not even need that since it does not clump. I will surly buy this again as my natural colored mascara. It also washes off so easily yet stays long (night out dancing) I did not get that recon eyes while I wash it off :)

Bronzers -GOSH - Giant Sun Powder
paridaryayi13 5/15/2009 3:17:00 PM
When I saw this in store I fell in love with the color and the silky smooth texture of it. I am not the palest person around but that is only because of my lovely Middle Eastern genes that gives me neutral yellow olive undertones other than that my skin is fair. I am always LOVED my skin color but i have to admit sometimes i look a lil dead and ghost like. I never wanted to try bronzers to give me a tan, and natural tan IS not an option since i HATE the sun and i dread skin cancer (runs in my family). For some reason I just had to have this,so convinced my finace that the price is worth it (25$ CAD) since you get SOOOOO much in it. Since last summer (almost 10 months) i have been using this daily and it does not even looked used (it started having a little dent in the middle but now i brush my brush all around)...it gives me as the first reviewer said a glow not much color at all it just bring my face to life! I am thinking about getting a matte bronzer but no matter what i get after this (well that would be yrs since this giant sun block will last me a WHILE) I will always love this it made me realize bronzer does not equal to too much fake tan and dirty looking face :)

Makeup Brushes -Ecotools - retractable kabuki
paridaryayi13 4/18/2009 8:06:00 PM
I have the too faced kabuki which i adore, but i wanted to get this as well. They are very much alike aside from the way they look, and i believe TF one has longer bristles. I actually find myself liking this one more at times it seems a lil fluffier? it applied power wonderfully and is heavenly soft. I love the retractable aspect of it since i can put it anywhere knowing it is safe. I rotate between my TF one and Ecotools one since they do take longer to dry (TF takes way longer). IF u r thinking about buying the TF one or this one i say save yourself the extra 18 $s and get this one since the pretty flowers on the TF one will soon b gone :) I LOVVVEEEE ecotools SOOO much :)

Misc Beauty Tools -Ecotools - Brow Grooming Set
paridaryayi13 4/18/2009 7:59:00 PM
OHH my when I saw this i was sure ecotools was at some time inside my head. This has everything i was planning to buy to keep up with my eye brows on my own, a mirror, tweezers, scissors, spoolie brush, and the one i never use the brow brush (i use that as a backup liner brush since i have very full dark brows naturally). Tweezers. I have tried many tweezers and this mini tweezers are the best ever!! It pulls the tiniest hairs, and works like a charm on ingrown hairs (gosh those annoying things). Spoolie. does what is it meant to do very well and is soo cute! Scissors. I am more used to the kind with thinner pointy ends but this works great :) Mirrors. i have not put it up yet because i am keeping it for my new bathroom in my new house, but this does magnify well and is so cute like the rest of this set Brow brush: I can not judge by how well it works for brows, but i can say it is a wonderful eyeliner brush very soft like all their brushes. I will buy this again if anything happens to it...i got mine for under 12$ at Walgreens :)

Liquid -Rimmel - Lasting Finish Enriched w/ Minerals
paridaryayi13 4/15/2009 12:01:00 AM
I really wanted to like this foundation, so as soon as i found a color match (true ivory) i went ahead and got it. The color match was great, and the coverage was good too. I only have one recovering spot and this would not cover it that well, and when i would try to build the coverage on that spot (with 187 brush, and a regular foundation brush AND patting it using my fingers) it would just look fake and mask like. and when i put power over it even more fake looking :( it did last well even without powder over it. Another downside was how you can feel you have makeup on kinda sticky 2...i returned it after one week of use....but do give it a try cs for some it works wonderfully. FYI my skin is not dry, and i use moisturizer b4 foundation..

Makeup Brushes -Ecotools - Bamboo 5 Pieces Brush Set (Mineral Makeup)
paridaryayi13 2/22/2009 3:52:00 PM
Eco Tools never disappoints...I got this not or mineral makeup but for the eye brushes. the concealer brush for me is the perfect regular eye shadow brush...and i have to have any issues with it picking too much or too little color. It is also wonder to be used wet with pigments or regular shadows. and ohh my god the eye shading brush can u say THE PERFECT SMOKEY EYE?? yes finally i am able to create that smokey look in a short time...the blush brush is wonderful but i have their full size one and this one was given to my mom as a gift with a new blush...the kabuki is perfect for blending around the eyes (it feel like spa treatment) and around the nose...i also use it to create the C shape wit ha highlighter around the eyes. Just like all of their brushes they r SUPPER soft and do not shed. they dry fast...And yes i will buy them if i ever need to :)

Lip Treatments -Revlon - Beyond Natural Liptint SPF 15 ] [DISCONTINUED]
paridaryayi13 12/29/2008 6:13:00 PM
I think this could be love..i am alergic to almost all highend pruducts and most lipbalms (hence burt's bee's, bilstex) gladly i am not allergic to all drugstore brands (by allergic i am talking bleeding and peeling of my lips). I do look for the "My Lips But Better" affect and these babies do just that. I have Pink, rosy, and deep berry...my natural lip color is almost same as Pink so when i want a supper natural look i use that. For days i want more color but not over the top i go for Rosy which has orange tint to it (not the scary looking kind). Yesterday i decided to be brave after using the other two for 3 months (lasts forever which is good) and got deep berry..with my fair skin dark or deep color can either make me look beautiful or like a clown. This deep berry is perfect just enough color. The look these give is the healthy shine of a balm with just the right amount of color. I will by this as long as they make them...i know some reviewer ( i saw at least 2) think this is a limited edition but they r wrong...it is not on the LE part of their site...it is part of this new wonderful line.

Makeup Brushes -Ecotools - Bamboo Angled Eyeliner Brush
paridaryayi13 12/22/2008 1:58:00 AM
Just like the rest of their brushes this one did not disappoint. It was under 10$, and i can not be happier with it in both saving money without losing quality and it being cruelty free. I use eyeshadow as eyeliners so this kind of brushes r a must for me. This can easily draw a line close to my lash line, and is supper soft and light weight.

Makeup Brushes -Ecotools - Bamboo Foundation Brush
paridaryayi13 12/22/2008 1:48:00 AM
I was looking for cruelty free brush set, and was about to spend over 60 box before i came across Ecotools at Walgreens. I searched for reviews, but could not find any on MMA but manages to found some on the web. I gave in knowing with the price i am not losing much. I AM IN LOVE. My mom has a more expensive brand and compared to this baby it is just not good enough. In blends the foundation beautifully, and with its perfect size I can get 2 every corner. It dries fast and does not shed. JUST WONDERFUL...i know it will last me a long time but i am ready to buy another one as soon as i need it :) And these brushes r supper light weight...price: around 10$

Liquid -Maybelline - Mineral Power Natural Perfecting Foundation ] ] [DISCONTINUED]
paridaryayi13 12/4/2008 1:01:00 AM
I was a loyal user of the powder version of this product since it came out, but after my mother mentioned it looks chalky at times i started to think about switching to a liquid. My skin is supper sensitive and tends to react to many products. I was reading reviews nonstop on here to find my perfect liquid foundation. When i finally gave in and got it it changed my make-up life. It has buildable coverage, and blends beautifully leaving ur skin with a natural glow. On my bad skin days I use extra touch up on problem areas with Dream Matte Mouse. Results are always natural, and it stays put with dusting of loose power for the whole day. I use a foundation brush and it makes it look even better :) It does have a TM feel to it, i found it to be a perfect line between TM and a liquid foundation....I will buy it again, it lasts a long time too, i got mine about 3 months ago and used it A LOT still has some left, but i have my new one ready to go already :)

Moisturizers -Clinique - Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion
paridaryayi13 7/8/2008 6:45:00 PM
I love Clinique, but this was a big disappointment. In my days of not so natural skin care i got this, and didn't notice any difference in my skin. My skin is not dry, it is naturally very soft and i do my best to keep it that way...this moisturizer would not help in those days when u do need something to moisturize ur skin more than usual. For some it m8 work...my mom doesn't hate is either so she is using, but in other hand she is not big on finding the perfect moisturizer she uses anything that does not hurt her :)

Lip Treatments -Burt's Bees - Beeswax Lip Balm
paridaryayi13 7/8/2008 6:41:00 PM
I used to call this a lip saver 2...i am not ashamed to admit i am obsessed with soft lips...I have to have lip balm close by or i will go crazy. This used to do the trick made my lips supper soft, and lasted for a long time on my lips...but i don't know what happened last time i got it, when i put it on it felt different i said maybe it is a new flavor...I WAS WRONG it made my lips flake like a snake's skin (i am not kidding it even bled)...i haven't dared buy it again but who knows maybe i should give it another try...it was truly the best lip balm i have ever used....

Blush -Max Factor - Colorgenuis in Roses
paridaryayi13 7/8/2008 12:28:00 PM
This blush ( or should i say blushes) r great...they have a natural finish, and beautiful colors. U get at least 6 colors with buying one. I combine the colors depending on my mood or time of the day. I have fair skin, this blush does not make me look like a clown (that is very good news). The only down side is one time i dropped i ( i was packing for my trip) and it broke into pieces ( completely unusable, and i didn't even had it for a week) , but i loved it enough to replace it before my fl8...the sad thing is i will b moving to Canada, and they don't carry Max factor's products anymore :( It was around 10 USD at CVS.

Moisturizers -Desert Essence - Daily Essential Moisturizer
paridaryayi13 7/8/2008 12:16:00 PM
This moisturizer is fantastic...i have tried jo jo ba oil on it's own, but wasn't so pleased with the oiliness, so i switched to this. I have been using it for over 2 months, i haven't broken out at all for this. I use it at n8 time, but if i am not going out i use it in the morning (it does not have SPF). I love how fast it absorbs into skin (damp or dry), how little you have to use. When u do need extra moisture (bad reaction to a product or weather) and my skin is flaking i add 1-2 drops of vitamin E oil together they work wonders. I have also noticed my pores have minimized (they r only enlarged around my nose). I am sure this will last me a long time, but will surly repurchase when i run out. I too hope it will come in a tube, or a pump bottle, but with the same amount :) I recommend this to anyone, with sensitive/dry/oily etc skin. I have combo skin that is rarely oily, but it sure is sensitive this cream does not irritate at all...I paid 6 USD for this...my vitamin store ordered it for me which was wonderful since it is less than 5 mins away from my house :) UPDATE 9/14/08: My first jar lasted me a lil over 3 months. I have my 2nd jar ready to go r8 now. I am still very pleased with this, i have noticed my skin really glows first i believed it was my new foundation, then i noticed it in the morning...before going to bed...IT THIS MOISTURIZER!
