Better than the movie. This palette offers a gorgeous range of colours, all wearable, blendable and pretty. The pop-up book packaging is too cute to resist as well. At first, I was hesitant because it seemed pricey. However, once you break down the amount of colours plus the additional eyeliner and mini-urban decay primer, it works out to be quite a deal. I would say many of the colours are frosty and glittery. That being said, I actually do love glitter but I must admit the fall-out is a bit much for this palette even with the primer on. That being said other than that, this palette is a huge HIT in my book and I never regretted it!

Mascara -Shiseido - Majolica Majorca Lash Gorgeous Wing

Okay I fess up. I must have been a lil bit cock eyed the day I went into the drugstore and bought this mascara. I had actually wanted to buy the Lash Expander. D'oh indeed. That being said, despite many negative reviews I found online on this product, I don't hate it. It holds a curl decently and is easy to apply and is kinda pretty if you are going for the natural lash look. However, as someone who severely lacks natural lash length, this mascara won't do the trick for me. I guess I will use it for light makeup days. That being said, I'm not IN LOVE with it or anything so I won't repurchase. P.S. No I haven't experienced much irritation with the fibre, but maybe its because I applied a base.

Skincare - Face -L'Occitane - Olive Harvest Face Scrub Mud

I bought this with the entire olive range and i must say I'm in love! I have very clogged, blackhead prone skin so its amazing as both a masque and a scrub. I first applied a thin layer and did a scrub after awhile. I could see many little blackheads lifted out on my fingers, gently. I wash it off, follow with a peel off mask to get all the little suckers and then tone and follow with moisturizing. The amazing thing about this mask is that it leaves the skin smooth and soft after exfoliating, a feat even the aspirin mask cannot do as a scrub. (unless honey is added but I noted that when I added honey, the aspirin mask was good at hydrating but had little or no use as a scrub.) this scrub, however, does a great job at both. (i noted a lot of blackheads were lifted using my peel-off, around the same as when i used aspirin+aloe vera, but as mentioned, the product was alot less drying.) Another thing that adds a plus to it is that it smells so good!

Fragrances -Calvin Klein - CK One Summer 2008

I'm a great fan of Limited Edition Summer scents and most of the time, CK One Summer disappoints me (unless you count the earlier versions). This however, is a beautifully aquatic and citrusy scent. My boyfriend, who usually doesn't say much about any of my scents, commented that this was very nice. 4/5 lippies! :)

I hated the way it smelt in the bottle but I love vanilla, so I sprayed some on my wrist... The drydown was FANTASTIC. I have no idea why some people say this doesn't last because its very lasting on me! I sprayed one wrist with this and one wrist with another scent and this lasted the whole way through. Odd, probably something to do with body chemistry.

Mascara -Shu Uemura - Length and Waterproof Mascara

I have stick straight lashes and trust me, its harder to get these lashes to stay curled during the day than it is to find a needle in a haystack. Well to my surprise, here is a mascara lightweight enough to hold my curl well. It lengthens, separates and is absolutely smudgeproof! I'd be more in love however, without the hefty price tag. This product is good for those pesky Asian lashes :P If you have naturally full and long lashes i would say this won't do much for you.

Eye Shadow -I Nuovi - Cosmo Eyeshadow

This eyeshadow is a very nice shimmery medium brown. It blends well with other eyeshadows and doesn't emphasize my eyebags. A natural looking shade. I am well pleased.

Lip Gloss -Bloom - Bloom Gloss (Tangerine)

This looks orangey pink in the tube but shows up nicely on my pigmented lips as a YLBB shade. The texture and scent are great, and the gloss gives off a good amount of shine. Best of all is that I don't really need to use much product to get the effect i want. :)

This is a great, summery fragrance which makes me happy. I think the reason why i like it so much is because i can smell citrus and grapefruit in this one. I am an absolute sucker for grapefruit. It gives me a carefree vibe. Gorgeous.

Fragrances -Anna Sui - Secret Wish

This sweet, sparkly scent was a tad too strong the first time i spritzed it on, but its dry down was worth it. I catch a hint of grapefruit and pineapple. I'm completely in love with it. :) However like with all Anna Sui perfumes... use sparingly.

Conditioner -L'Oreal - L'oreal Vive Smooth-Intense Conditioner

I love this conditioner. Its my staple. It has a fresh nice scent and leaves my hair smooth and sleek. I have a somewhat awkward combination of an oily scalp and dry hair and as such this one worked well for me. Really gave me the smooth sleek look and unlike other conditioners, did not make my hair drop out. Will repurchase.

These things only work when you apply them correctly. Try steaming your face beforehand :) When it does, its positively fascinating to look at all the blackheads on the strip. But i find that with this product my blackheads increase after a few uses.

Polishes -Mavala - Nail color cream

Mavala nail cream are a quality nail polish for a low price. It doesn't chip easily and the colour applies evenly. I can get away with one coat of this stuff on my toes and it stays put. However, i wouldn't buy more because i have found an even cheaper (gasp!) nailpolish of similiar quality. I have this in 93, which is a watermelon pink as well as a pearl colour.

Occasionally, I have one of those days in which i look like hell. And usually, I do not go for blush. But during one of those days, I patted this on and promptly fell in love. It comes in a variety of colours. The one i like happens to come in a nude colour that made my cheeks glow. So the next time I get one of those days, I know what to wear on my face :D

Mascara -Maybelline - Lash Expansion Waterproof

This mascara gives a natural look and thickens my lashes ever so slightly. It stays put through rain and shine and tears. It would be so remarkable if only i possessed naturally long thick and curly lashes and needed a mascara to complement it. Unfortunately, my skimpy, downward pointing, asian lashes of evil dont really jump to attention with this one. I bought it at a warehouse sale though, so I shall not complain. My suggestion is to skip this one, because it doesnt really do much other than coat lashes with colour.
