Eye Shadow -Maybelline - Color Tattoo 24hr Cream Gel Shadow in Bad to the Bronze / on and on bronze
pappygalore 5/27/2012 3:23:00 PM
I bought the bronze and taupe colour, I have oily lids and it creased within one and a half hours. quite disappointed. Really hoped it would work. Oily lids be a bit wary imo.

Blush -Shu Uemura - Glow On Pink 30
pappygalore 7/30/2010 3:52:00 PM
Holy grail, easiest blush to put on. Absolute no brainer, Lovely fleshy slightly bright pink on me. If I had to choose one blush (I LOOOOVE BLUSH) this would win out over the others. Shu rocks.

Lipstick -NARS - Niagara
pappygalore 7/30/2010 3:48:00 PM
Another great lipstick, pinky coral. Brightens up my face and is lovely for the Summer. I remember when I bought this in Selfridges, I had it on and one girl stopped me and asked me what it was. I have always wanted that to happen so I was chuffed! Highly recommended!

Lipstick -MAC - Hot Tahiti Lipstick
pappygalore 7/30/2010 3:45:00 PM
If you like a red lip then it is difficult to go wrong with this lippie. One swipe gives a just been kissed look, any more just deepen the effect. I totally get the hype about this lipstick. I love it!

Lipstick -Revlon - Matte lipstick in Mauve It Over
pappygalore 11/29/2009 8:48:00 AM
Hmmmmm, okay, so I LOVE MUA and respect the reviews placed on here. I always like to agree with the majority but with regards to this lipstick I can't! On me (eek) it is mauve, a light pinky mauve. I don't get the brown I see in that fab top picture of lips - it truly looks COMPLETELY different on me. I have been checking in all sorts of light and it's the same it is light pinky mauve maybe slightly muted. When I first tried it I had MAC Mocha blush on so I thought it would be perfect but I realise I have to use my pink blushes to compliment the lipstick, that's also how I know it's mauve! I have quite pigmented lips (reddy pink based) and this lightens them quite a bit. It is not MLBB. It's very pretty without announcing itself on my face. The only downside is that it is a little drying but a touch of balm or gloss eases that. I think this is a perfect of example of how one lipstick can look so totally different on others. I am really pleased with this!

Masks -LUSH - BB Seaweed Face Mask
pappygalore 11/24/2009 5:20:00 PM
Fantastic product. I would never have bought this myself. My sister in law bought me some presents when I was dumped and this was one of them! I have bought one mask and tried a couple of others, ayesha (was allergic to it) Cupcake (nice, soothing) and a crash course in skin care? (nice, hydrating). Nothing special enough for me to part with the cash. I find BB Seaweed really soothing and calming. I do need some cream afterwards because my face is a little tight but the reason why I love it is that it really tightens my pores up. I have some scarring and some enlarged pores but the mask almost closes them and dries the excessive oil? Well that's what it feels like. I notice the difference for a good few days afterwards. My skin looks clearer and less spotty. I have put on twice this week due to the time of the month but would plan to use this weekly. I also wear it for around 20 -30 minutes... I have frozen this as suggested by another MUA reviewer so will update when I start to use from the freezer.. I know this will not work for everyone but am chuffed it works for my boat race!

Eye Primer -Urban Decay - Eyeshadow Primer Potion - Original (UDPP)
pappygalore 9/26/2009 5:31:00 AM
OMG! I am not happy. I had to write this review down asap! I have cut my bottle of UDPP at the largest part and at the thinnest bottom part (actually my dad sawed it...) and there is SO MUCH PRODUCT LEFT IN IT that you just can't reach! Trust me, I have wiggled that applicator and scraped and dragged it on my eyelids...The MUAers are so right there was so much left in it - I would estimate 3 grams which is alot considering you need the tiniest dab... What's annoying is that I can use this for months and months. I can still use the applicator tube as even though I scraped it there is still product that I can used for at least a week or two... I am so annoyed because I bought the two faced primer which is good but UDPP is better... sigh. I have lost ALOT of respect for UD who make great products but seems to think funky packaging is more important then use -ability.

Shampoo -LUSH - Curly Wurly

Okay so I am really surprised with this. To be honest I didn't think it would be as good as the reviews here - but it is! Its strange to use but really does nourish and soften the hair. I really like it! And the smell.

Hair -Unlisted Brand - Coconut Oil
pappygalore 6/5/2009 4:06:00 PM
Excellent. I am indian and spent the last 17 years (yikes - I started young)! colouring my hair. I am growing it all out now (before the gray kicks in) and would 100% recommend. Its my new old ritual. I am really lucky too because my mum went to Goa and saw the coconut oil being sweezed out, came home with it in a clean drinks bottle!

Blush -NARS - Sin
pappygalore 4/19/2009 8:20:00 AM
Love blushes and this beauty is one of my HG's. Its a sheer plummy pink blush with goldish shimmer. Classic. Doesn't get muddy on me and stays put. I have already bought again with Albatross highlighter (duo) which is also gorgeous. Very happy. (LSF 6.5)

Blush -MAC - Beauty Powder Blush in Tippy (Hello Kitty)
pappygalore 4/19/2009 8:10:00 AM
I love blushes actually even more then nude lipsticks. Blush, concealer and my tweezers are the 3 items I cannot live without. I love this blush, as much as my other fave blush - Nars Sin. Its a sheer blue toned pink that glides on. I find it goes with a lot of lipsticks - or maybe I just want to wear it! I have 15 blushes but actually find myself wanting to wear this most of the time. Luckily bought a back up just before it the collection closed. Phew!

Lipstick -Shu Uemura - Lipstick
pappygalore 4/19/2009 7:59:00 AM
BG949 I found my Holy Grail, muted pink/mauvey nudeish lipstick. I have almost bought/tried every MAC nude you could think of but this lipstick just works. I pair it with my favourite HG lipliner - Clinique Quickliner for lips 01 Lipblush. For evenings add clear lipgloss, it looks amazing. I am a happy bunny! I am of Salma Hayak colouring with fairly pigmented lips. Very expensive but so good I already have a back up!

Lipstick -MAC - Frost Lipstick in Plastique
pappygalore 4/19/2009 7:38:00 AM
I bought Frenzy and the same time as Plastique but I actually prefer Plastique. I find it more subtle, as frenzy picks up too much gold on my lips. Great formulation and am very happy with it. Would definately buy again because it is so unusual!
