I asked the SA at sephora for a yellow toned, moisturizing undereye concealer. This was not it, sadly. Not emollient enough or pigmented enough for my circles. Also, there are definitely visible chunks of glitter in there which is not cute IMO. I'm returning!

Oxidized, smells like crap, looks cakey and broke me out. Returned it and will never buy it again. I have got to stop trying to find the perfect foundation! It doesn't exist!!!!!

Nails -Sally Hansen - Salon Effects in Misbehaved
rated 5 of 5

There's not much I can say that hasn't already been said in the review below mine - but I just wanted to show my support for this product! I never thought I'd be into "nail art", but this pattern was too hard to resist. Misbehaved is an awesome fishnet black design over a champagne/gold color that is absolutely subtle enough for everyday wear. Strangers have noticed and complimented them and asked how they were done...when I told them they were these stickers they were very surprised! Application was not at all as bad as I had read online, took about 30 minutes to do all ten fingers and for the most part, the stickers fit my nails perfectly. The best part of all is that I have had these on for the last 6 days and only NOW am I just starting to see a little bit of wear near my cuticles. Not even any tip wear though and I am active all day with my hands! I did do a topcoat and have touched that up every few days with that so maybe that has helped, but either way I LOVE these things.

Liquid -Maybelline - Fit Me Foundation
rated 1 of 5
pandabear333 3/1/2012 11:16:00 PM

1 star for the color match - the lightest shade is a perfect pale/yellow tone that doesn't oxidize or pull pink AT ALL which most drugstore foundations do. overall though i am not satisfied. the finish was nice, dewy which i like, but felt very heavy and waxy on. made my skin feel oily and gross even after i took it off. (and i normally have dry skin...) disappeared within 5 hours in an unflattering fashion AND the next day after i wore it i woke up with 2 pimples & some sort of raised skin allergic welt thing going on underneath my eye. thanks but no thanks! the neverending foundation search continues...

Candles -Bath and Body Works - Lilac Blossom

i love the smell of lilac so when i saw this candle i knew i had to try it. it's very nice and everything was said in the previous review - the only thing i'll add is that the scent is not as strong as i would have hoped. when you first smell it in the jar it smells perfect - when it's burned, its a little less potent. still very pretty and a candle i plan on using a lot during the spring/summer months.

Lips -New York Color - Smooch Proof Lip Stain
rated 4 of 5
pandabear333 1/28/2012 9:52:00 PM

i LOVE this color in "rock on ruby." it is a perfect cherry red stain without being too bright or offensive. i can wear one coat for daytime with a lip balm underneath and a gloss over, or two coats for night time. the only con is it dries up quickly, but the product is only 3.99 or something so for me its not a big deal having to repurchase.

Shampoo -L'Oreal - EverCreme Cleansing Conditioner
rated 3 of 5

for reference, i have very thick, curly/wavy hair that an inch or two past my bra strap. i have tried sulfate free shampoos in the past and my hair has never seemed to like them. they always ended up making my hair more tangled than before and limp. this product was no exception, sadly. the smell is amazing as others have said - its like warm brown sugar/vanilla and it lasts for hours. i definitely couldn't use this alone - i needed to use a second conditioner. after washing with the cleansing conditioner my hair was a tangled mess and i needed some silicones to help that situation out. i used it twice and then had to use a clarifying shampoo, as my hair was limp and dull. it makes my hair feel a lot dirtier a lot faster...for some reason, my hair just does not react well to no sulfates. i'll keep it around and may use it again in the future, but its just not for me.

Shampoo -L'Oreal - Everstrong Reconstruct shampoo
rated 3 of 5
pandabear333 11/20/2011 10:16:00 PM

i really liked this stuff in the beginning. it was a little difficult getting used to the sulfate free feeling - my hair didn't squeak. after i would wash and condition, my hair felt really weightless and lovely. that lasted up until about a week ago. it's been a month since i started using it and my hair has started reacting differently. it's getting dirtier much quicker, getting WAY more tangled, falling out more when i comb it through in the shower, and feeling dry and gross. i'm thinking maybe i just need more moisture? i will probably use this up until i'm done and then try something else. i love the idea, but something about it did not work for me.

Shampoo -Joico - K-Pak Reconstruct Shampoo for Dry or Damaged Hair
rated 2 of 5
pandabear333 9/12/2011 7:39:00 PM

i tried this based on a recommendation from a friend who has dyed her hair multiple times & heat styles frequently. i have A LOT of hair, very thick & wavy. i blow dry maybe once every two weeks. i only had to use this once in conjunction with the conditioner to know that it wasn't what my hair wants/needs. within 24 hours of using this, my hair was greasy and limp. for my hair to be greasy after one day of washing is quite a feat as my hair is normally quite dry. i had high hopes for this product but i don't think it's for me. on a positive note, it smells fantastic and the scent lasts throughout the day.

Cleansers -Purpose - Gentle Cleansing Wash
rated 1 of 5
pandabear333 9/3/2011 12:09:00 PM

i really wanted to find a great simple non irritating cleanser in this product - but my skin just does not like it. i've used it several times over the last few months thinking that maybe it hasn't been this that breaks me out, but i always end up with a few new pimples after just two nights of using. i find that it leaves my skin feeling filmy and tight after washing, and then in the morning i'm greasy. i have combination/dry skin, so for me to be straight up greasy is very rare. there is something in this product that does not agree with me! i have yet to find out what it is exactly, but i know that i will be discontinuing usage. i would warn those with very sensitive skin to stay away.

Other -Unlisted Brand - Arm and Hammer Whitening Booster
rated 5 of 5

i had originally wanted to purchase crest whitestrips again - since i have tried them in the past and they 100% work - but i'm on a budget and those are too expensive. i spotted this in the aisles of walgreens and decided to give it a try. i am very impressed with this product so far! i've only used it for the past 3 or so days and i'm already noticing a difference. even my boyfriend commented on my teeth looking whiter. i'm planning on using this bottle and then perhaps buying another and continuing to use this on a daily basis. highly recommend!

this is an incredible bar soap. it is luxurious, moisturizing, creamy, and so SO fragrant. i leave this on my dresser and every time i walk into the room i can smell the delicious scent of gardenia. this soap has improved the quality of my skin and is so gentle and creamy, it can be used to shave with as well. i highly recommend!

Styling Products -Garnier - Brilliantine Shine Glistening Drops
rated 5 of 5
pandabear333 2/21/2011 9:05:00 PM

they "discontinued" this, but what they actually did was just put it in a different packaging with a different name. you can find "sleek and shine anti frizz serum" which comes in a shorter and fatter bottle at cvs and it's the exact same product as this one. the smell is the same, the effect is the same. it's a fantastic product. the only thing that is better than this is fekkai glossing cream, but this stuff is definitely number two. i have very thick, wavy/curly hair that i use heat on weekly and this gives a fantastic shine and softness. when i can't/don't want to shell out the $20 for fekkai, i pick this up. for only $7 or so, it's definitely a bargain.

Lipstick -Maybelline - Color Sensational - Born With It
rated 4 of 5
pandabear333 1/20/2011 7:59:00 PM

let me start off by saying that i wish i could find a lipstick that is this exact shade without the glitter, the smell, and the weird dry feeling it gives my lips. (ladies, if you know of any that fit this criteria - PM me!) the pros of this lipstick are as follows - i'm NW15ish, with olive undertones & green eyes. the shade of this lipstick makes my features pop. it's just enough to tone down my pigmented lips, but without that concealer zombie porn star effect that a lot of pink/nude lipsticks give. i find myself reaching for it quite often, even though the cons frustrate me. one thing i can't stand about it is the glitter. it lingers long after the lipstick has faded, and it definitely tends to migrate down your chin after awhile. not cute. the smell is not too offensive, but there's definitely a...baby powder-esque thing going on that i'm not loving. and finally, as mentioned previously, the formula is not moisturizing whatsoever. i'm always very aware that i'm wearing something on my lips & i hate that feeling. i wish they'd reformulate and nix the glitter & add some moisturizing properties! in the meantime, i will continue to purchase because i have yet to find a shade this flattering.
