I am using this product to control my acne. This has been effective, although I still have acne, but the breakouts appeared small or dried out way faster than usual. It doesn't irritate my sensitive skin. I don't use it as a primer because seriously, it doesn't control my oily t zone. I need a second bottle and I hope the result is able to maintain so that I don't need to look for another new product to combat my acne.

Lip Gloss -Revlon - Peony Colorburst Lipgloss 008

Other than Dior 256, this is my other HG lipgloss. Peachy pink color matches most of my eye makeup and outfit. I love it has small golden shimmer but flaky and doesn't enhance the lines on my lips. The smell is thousand times better than my Dior lip gloss. I wish I am able to find another good lipgloss from the Revlon Colorburst line. However, other color in the same line either not attractive to me or very drying (because the of the silvar flakes). I can use this gloss without lipblam underneath. I will definitely buy this again.

My favourite nude pink gloss. (+): glassy not shimmery with flakes non-drying non- sticky decent pigment (more than regular gloss) real nude pink (-): hate the smell. I use it on top of Lancome natural mauve lipliner and become a staple of my makeup routine

I finally find my HG power foundation. When I say that, I am comparing to Guerlain Paure Gold and Paure regular, Chantecaille Compact Makeup, Estee Lauder DoubleWear, Cover FX, Dior powder foundation, Chanel Blanc Esstentials, Clinique Almost Power, MAC Studio FX, Laura Mercier, Shiseido (all kinds) and MUF Duo Mat etc. First, B20 matches my NC25 skin perfectly. Second, the powder is creamy smooth, it is not cakey and dry. Third, compare to other powder foundation in the market, this powder foundation doesn't enhance the look of my pores as much. Forth, flexible coverage; the power foundation looks equally good either using alone (with disposable sponge) on top my concealer or on top of liquid foundation (with a brush) as a setting power. Fifth, long lasting (one touch up is good enough). Sixth, doesn't turn into darker or more orange shade. Seventh, very natural indoor or outdoor. Eighth, doesn't make me look like a ghost behind the camera. It is a sheer to medium coverage powder foundation. So if you are looking for full coverage, u need to use concealer or foundation underneath. I wish Chanel never discontinue this powder foundation.

Liquid -Bourjois - Healthy Mix Serum Gel Foundation

This is my new HG foundation. Way better than my Chanel Vitalumiere aqua. This foundation has sheer to medium coverage and the result is skin liked and light weight. I layer my skin with one and half pump of foundation, applied with a sponge and the result is dewy (not greasy and shinny), natural, long lasting and doesnt trigger any breakouts. The smell of this foundation is also divine, small like Chanel hydramax foundation. Love it.....

I want it to work badly but very disappointed. First, I am using the second color and it is very yellowish. Second, if I layer more product, for sure it looks dull and again, more yellow. Derfinitely want to return this product.

I wish I am able to use this product eariler. I used to love PC 2% BHA toner regular strength as my stable. When I used PC, I still needed to use prescription to control my breakouts and I would still get about 2 to 3 breakouts or sometimes 1 depands on my stress level. Recently, I have ezcema and eventhough I don't use the prescription on my ezcema, I still get irritation from PC toner and all prescription. I went to SDM and found this product on sales with the Acne Stress Control as a set for $9. I was thinking to use that cleanser to wash my brushes so I bought it. The cleanser is only ok for brushes and it is a bit too dry for my face, however the treatment is perfect. After using this for two months, I have one to two breakouts since. The first breakout was there before I used the product, n here comes the second breakout because of my period and late night sleep. That breakout flares up when I slept at 4am on monday. Also, I cannot use this product with other acne treatment such as PC toner and prescription, otherwise, too irritated and won't do as well by itself. I wish it is color and frag free, then it would be a perfect product. I use this product as a treatement so I need to layer moisturizer on top. I am using Cervea lotion at this moment and Cervea PM as a serum before using the Acne Stress Control.

Cleansers -Cerave - Foaming Facial Cleanser

This is my new favourite face cleanser. it doesn't look fancy and I don't feel prestige while using it. However, it is practical and gentle. It cleans my face without stripping my skin dry. It doesn't irritat my skin esp skin around my eyes when there is ezcema. It doesn't sting my eyes at all even the cleanser gets into my eyes. It is inexpensive. The only bad thing about this product is the packaging, it looks really plain and boring. But I don't mind because I won't take my bottle of cleanser out to show off.

Moisturizers -Cerave - Moisturizing Lotion

This is my favourite head to toe moisturizer. It is inexpensive, simple, hydrate and comes with a pump which I like. I always use expensive top notch brand (I still love SKII) but nothing is comparable to this lotion. I have acne prone (usually 3 to 5 deep painful acne), dehydrated and sensitive skin. This product is not cater for very dry skin, for very dry skin, I recommend Impruv cream and I use Impruv around my eyes because my eye area are super dry. It is good for normal skin to dry skin. My routine: Cleanser: CerVea hydranting cleanser AM and Bioderma H2O, Clinque Take it away makeup remover for eyes and CerVea facial foaming cleanser PM Toner: SKII Facial tratement essence (it is not a toner but I am being cheap and don't see the point to invest a toner and thats why using this instead) Treatment: Neutrogena Stress Control Acne 3 in 1 treatment AM and Differn 0.1 cream (the most gentle form of Retin A) PM Serum: SKII cellumination essense Moisturizer: Cerave Moisturizing lotion AM and PM Eye cream: Impruv cream My skin has been clear and perfect since using this routine. Don't layer two acne treatment at the same time. It only dried up your skin but won't heal your skin because when our skin is too irriated, will definitely slow down its healing process.

Moisturizers -Unlisted Brand - Impruv Cream

This is a very good moisturizer and I have been using this for two weeks. My skin is sensitive, dry and always have two to three HUGE breakouts, have not have clear skin for a while. I am in a situation that I have no idea what to use. I don't want to trigger breakouts but my dry skin is very irritated and it hurts for real. So I decide to try something plain. I went to SDM and saw this Impruv cream, I read the ingredient list and find out it could be a solution to my skin condition; gentle, no cone, basic, plain but still with some good ingredients. This is also the cheapest moisturizer that I have ever used in my life. I am usually a BIG FAN of luxury skincare, from SKII to La Mer, Guerlain, Estee Lauder, YSL, Sothys, Clinique, Shiseido, Clarins, Chanel, Cellex C, Valmont, Suki etc and I always use the top line among all these big skincare brand. But since my skin is very sensitive, I decide to give this a try. I warm up the product and then I pat the product on my face including eye area after using my SKII Facial Treatement Essence. My skin feel calm right away and I do not have any new breakouts after using this product. I wish the cream continues to work well on me and it has potential to be a HG product. it is good for me during the Winter time but I can see it become too rich during summer time. If it continues to work like this, I will change it into a 5 stars status. Edit: after I use Impruv cream for a while, I like it on my eyes more because it is very emoillent. For face, really love CerVea Moisturing lotion.

Toners -Kose - Junkisui Refreshing Lotion

I honestly don't understand the ingredients in this product, all I know is: this toner works. I have sensitive, acne- prone (my skin never clear and always have 2 to 5 breakouts), normal to dry skin. I have been used Paula's Choice regular strength toner with BHA 2% in her acne skincare line. The PC toner did well for me for two years, but recently, my skin got very sensitive, itchy and my acne come back (deep and hurtful and barely see any whiteheads). I wondered if my sensitivity was from the PC toner and it was. I remember I tried this toner few years ago with cotton sheet mask and the result was great. But I used too much toner and ended up being very costly (one bottle a month) and I gave up. So, this time I decide to try as a toner and the result is great. It does have a nice herbal smell which I like a lot. No irritation, no redness, no rashes, but my skin is more clam, bright, hydrated and most importantly way way less acne (I have one small one right now). I will keep on using this toner until it doesn't work out for me. I bought it from a local Jap makeup store ($50 dollars Canadian). I think the toner is gong to last me for three to four months. The bottle is classy but heavy for travel. I prefer decay the toner into a small light weight bottle.

Powder -Rimmel - Stay Matte Pressed Powder - Sandstorm

I guess I am the exception. Being a beauty junkie and worked in beauty industry before, I am suprise how great this press powder is. I think for those who doesn't like this powder is because they don't know how to use it. First, it is a setting powder and never expect coverage from a setting powder. That means you need to use liquid foundation underneath. It doesn't provide any coverage, so for those need coverage, need liquid foudation and concealer. Second, it is an extremely inexpensive powder, therefore, don't expect nice packaging. I am ok with cheap packaging because I only use this as a setting powder at home and take a fancy powder case to show off when I am out with my friends. Third: use brush instead of sponge. This powder is able to cover my pores super well. you need to pat the power on your pores with a brush. Also, need to wait until your foundation dry before patting on the powder, unless, looks blochy. Result: this powder gives me long lasting matt finish and make my skin look polished and perfect like angel face. You need to master your skills. Definitely HG. Edit: could be too dry during winter time, so winter time, can go back to MAC mineralize press powder or Chanel loose powder

BB Cream -MISSHA - M Signature Real Complete B.B. Cream SPF 25 PA++

I have both Perfect Cover and M Signature Real. I used up both whole tubes and comment as follows: Consistency: Perfect Cover has thinker consistency than M Signature. Perfect Cover has mineral oil but not M Signature. Both are blendable with sponge and fingers. Coverage: Same, med to full coverage Effect: Perfent Cover has a relatively dull appearance VS M signature looks dewy and make my skin looks like picture perfect with soft glow. SPF: Perfect Cover has higher SPF VS M Signature only has SPF 25. Smell: dislike product with smell therefore I am not fan of Perfect Cover. Packaging: Perfect Cover has a soft tube with a pump. I cannot pump the rest out but still find a lot left in the tube. Result: Perfect Cover breaks me out because of the mineral oil vs M Signature doesn't break me out and make me look flawless for the entire day with one or two touch up the most. Since M Signature has SPF 25, it cut down my layer of sunblock. I first use SKII Skin Signature, then Smashbox anti-shine and Clinique pores primer in light. Then M Signature and my HG CDP concealer in Ivory and HG setting powder Rimmel Stay Matt in Stonestorm. My makeup last at least till lunch time or longer. When I bought the product, the SA told me both are similar n Perfect Cover is less moisturize but indeed M Signature has no mineral oil and feels lighter. I am glad I follow my own judgement.
