Skincare - Body -La Prairie - Cellular Energizing Body Spray
ozebaia 5/7/2013 4:37:00 AM
I have been using this product for 3 years now and have noticed its positive effects on my skin. I spray this on my decolletage which is susceptible to sun damage and the "turkey neck" has smoothed and blotchy discoloration has disappeared. With the added bonus of a refreshing fragrance (especially for summer!) I love this product and will continue to use it. Highly recommended.

Lipstick -Max Factor - Lipfinity 3D Maxwear Lip Color - 545 Feisty Fuchsia
ozebaia 1/14/2013 8:59:00 AM
Love the color of this Fiesty Fuschia, although the berry color base is not what I generally like it looks spectacular with the shimmering orange gloss topcoat. This is my new favorite color, just a pity I discovered it after it had been discontinued, but have found some online to buy.

Hair Styling Tools -Mason Pearson - Pure Bristle Brush
ozebaia 11/3/2012 6:07:00 AM
POCKET 100% Boar Bristle Brush- is too small to use for styling or blow drying hair, but is perfect for carrying around in a handbag for tidy ups. Mason Pearson brushes are VERY expensive and an "investment", but I am now going to buy a larger brush for blow drying my hair, but I will be looking for a less expensive, but still pure bristle brush.

Blush -Clinique - Blushwear Cream Stick
ozebaia 7/14/2012 9:00:00 AM
I had never tried this product, but bought it purely from user reviews and an award it received from a fashion magazine being voted the Best Cream Blush. Although from retailers it's fairly expensive, I bought it almost 50% cheaper after searching online. The colour is very true in the Peachy Glow, soft and creamy, and packaging is exquisite. I have tried cream blushers in pots but most of it ends up under my finger nails, so this in stick form is so much better. Very happy!

Fragrances -La Prairie - Cellular Energizing Body Spray
ozebaia 6/25/2012 5:34:00 AM
Superb product! The fragrance is fresh, relaxing and lasting, plus there are therapeutic advantages to using this cellular energising spray, which is its main purpose. If only it wasn't so expensive. But I will definitely buy this again, regardless.

Lipstick -Christian Dior - Addict Lipstick
ozebaia 4/25/2010 2:00:00 AM
I have this in #953 (Pop Red). It looks deep shaded in the tube, but goes on as light as a tinted lip gloss. There is no colour impact and no staying power whatsoever. Very disappointing.

Mascara -Christian Dior - DiorShow Mascara Waterproof
ozebaia 4/25/2010 1:55:00 AM
mmm - Thought this would live up to the Dior name, but sadly it doesn't. The ultra large cylinder makes it quite clumsy to handle and the mascara cream (black) is on the dry side and offers no impact or WOW factor. My preference is still Chanel Waterproof.

Moisturizers -RoC - Multi Correxion Anti-Age Moisturiser

What a great product! This non-greasy cream had immediate results, making my skin look hydrated (plumped up) and even-skin toned without any adverse reactions. Hope the ongoing use continues to improve my slightly blotchy skin appearance. Excellent product.

Eyeliner -The Body Shop - Eye Kohl Black
ozebaia 11/28/2009 9:05:00 PM
This product has been a staple in my makeup collection for over five years. What an amazing eyeliner. It glides on so smoothly and easily. It has a definite black colouring, which is also soft, yet thick. Most importantly, this eyeliner stays on and unmoved all night. I wear a variety of makeup shades from everyday at-work natural to a night time smokey shadow. Whatever the occasion this eyeliner exceeds all expectations. I am so lucky I have found an eyeliner that is perfect and not expensive - so I can buy it over and over again.

Shampoo -Wella - SP Silver Saver
ozebaia 11/28/2009 8:55:00 PM
This shampoo was recommended to me after I complimented a friend on her very shiny and new, bright blonde highlights: "Have you just been to the hairdresser? They have done such an amazing job." "Oh no, I haven't been to the hairdresser in 6 weeks!" she exclaimed. A very, very deep purple shampoo (even the bubbles are purple!) it brightens the light blonde highlights and tones down the yellow look that seems to emerge. I only use this shampoo once a week, on the weekend before I head out, to breath some life into my blonde hair colour. I am already onto my second bottle and I will always have one in stock.

Mascara -Chanel - extreme cils waterproof mascara [DISCONTINUED]
ozebaia 5/6/2009 4:35:00 AM
Overall, I found this mascara possibly the BEST I have used - waterproofing is exceptional, and it goes on very thick with just one coat. Although generally not needed, it is quite difficult to apply a second coat, as when the first one is dry, the lashes are very dry and spikey! Although coming close to what I am trying to achieve - thicker, longer, darker lashes, I don't think THE PERFECT mascara has been invented yet. ( (Must be a marketing ploy to keep us all buying, trying and reviewing....)

Lips -Max Factor - MaxWear Lip Color
ozebaia 5/16/2008 3:28:00 AM
In the U.S. the color I use is called "80's Pink - # 510". In Australia, it's called "Radiant Rose - # 510". I wonder why Max Factor has had to change the name???? Anyway, I really love both this product and the color #510. The base is a true candy rose pink and the top coat is almost clear with just a slight hint of pink (nothing like what is pictured on the Max Factor website!) Staying power is very good, but the biggest plus-side to this product in comparison to the Lipfinity range is that it doesn't feel crumbly and gritty - especially when you eat!!! I would buy MaxWear again and next time try the coral shade.

Polishes -OPI - Dusk Over Cairo
ozebaia 3/30/2008 10:43:00 PM
I love this color also and think it could be one of O.P.I's most underrated shades of nail polish. It is a perfect shade of CORAL- neither too pink nor too orange; neither garish nor dull. Unlike another reviewer, I found that this polish does last well (had it on gardening yesterday) - remember a base coat to help adhesion and a top coat to protect!!! This will become a "must have" in my ever growing draw of nail polishes.

Polishes -OPI - Sonic Bloom
ozebaia 3/9/2008 8:48:00 PM
Wowee - what a cute, quirky, fun color O.P.I. Sonic Bloom is to wear! This is a more mellow shade of aqua than is apparent in the bottle but with more layering the more intense the colour becomes. This is totally wearable and I think it would match all skin and hair colors. Add a few topcoats of O.P.I. DS "Shimmer" for even more glitter and glam. This is a sure winner!!!

Polishes -OPI - Nutcracker Sweet holiday duo
ozebaia 2/25/2007 6:25:00 AM
When I first put this nail color on the only thing I could compare it to was silk fabric and the best way to describe this color is as sunset pink silk shot with gold. It is the most amazing color but does not look super glossy on its own. Also it wears extremely well, even without a top coat. This shade is now discontinued, but I was able to get one on Ebay recently, but only the main color, not the glittery top coat as well. Thumbs up from me!
