I used Aquanil on the recommendation of my dermatologist (she said it is what she uses at home), and I LOVE IT. I use a prescription acne medicine (epiduo, <3) and so I don't feel like I need anything crazy out of my face wash. Aquanil leaves my face feeling so soft and calm. It never stings, and doesn't leave my skin feeling tight. I definitely prefer it to Cetaphil. My only issue is that it's not the greatest at taking off eye makeup, so I use grape seed oil on a q-tip for that. But otherwise, it's awesome! and you can use it without water (hence the name), so it's great for the winter when you are already so dry. And it comes in a huge pump container which is very convenient and lasts forever. Hooray!

Treatments -Unlisted Brand - Galderma - Epiduo (aka Tactuo in Canada)

At first, epiduo sucks, as I think most similar treatments do - your face gets really itchy and peely and dry. But then... after that clears up, you have maybe a month of where you skin will be way better, but you still get the occasional zit (never painful), and finally, perfection. The derm told me it takes maybe 4 months to work completely, but I could see results almost immediately. However, now that I have been on it for like 6 months, I have perfect skin. This stuff REALLY works. It is probably the best thing ever. It is definitely expensive (so make sure to get the coupon online!), but it is really really worth it. I still get the occasional zit right before my period, but it is NOTHING compared to what used to happen in my pre-epiduo days! Also, my skin is sooo soft now. Just a few recommendations: If you use epiduo, cut out any extraneous parts of you skin care regimen, because it is probably unnecessary. Use the most gentle soap you can find. I use aquanil to wash my face (you can use it without water, so it is really good for that beginning part where your face dries out), and I usually scrub with a bufpuf in the shower to exfoliate (this was also helpful in the beginning when my face got super flaky). I also use grape seed oil on a qtip to take of eye makeup, since aquanil is not the most effective at this. NEVER get epiduo near the skin around your eyes - your lids will swell up and sting like crazy, making you look like a freak! Also, make sure you wear sunscreen because it will make your skin more sensitive, and you don't want to go messing up the perfection with a burn!

Sunscreen -Clinique - City Block Sheer Oil-Free Daily Face Protector Broad Spectrum 25 SPF

I started using this after I got a terrible reaction to my usual Olay moisturizers with sunscreen. I suddenly developed really sensitive skin and would have itchy red patches all over my face! I also react badly to any moisturizers with soy in them, which i discovered when trying to find a substitute. This stuff was the first product I came upon that didn't sting when I put it on, and didn't give me any reactions. At first I didn't like it because it made me feel like I had a weird slimy coating on my face about halfway through the day, but I have lately come to really love it. The texture is good and it goes on very evenly, and makes your skin feel and look dewy and soft. It evens out my skin tone just enough, and isn't obvious. The smell reminds me of ice cream sandwiches, which is a little weird, but it isn't detrimental. The packaging is not my favorite, because I am always dropping the giant heavy top, and the tube is not ideal for standing up on a counter, because it is also always falling over. If you have any dry flaky skin, this will just make it look worse, as the tinted stuff gets caught in the skin flakes and makes it even more obvious. But for a daily sunscreen/moisturizer, it's awesome!
