This is an awesome foot scrub ever. I found this product by accident when I went to get pedicure at the salon near my house. Usually I have very dry leg and feet and this scrub just do the job as I expected. I use this scrub conjunction with their pumice stone and nail brush. Also, it helps my ingrown hair issue on my legs too. I am definitely repurchase for sure.
I love this brush very much. I got it from Outlet mall I paid $17.50 the full price is $24.50 so it's a deal for me. If I only knew that I will love this brush so much I would buy one more as my backup. This brush is firm and soft and it makes my eye makeup procedures much easier and very nice. Good for deposit color in the corner and crease eyes. I think I will buy more if I had a chance. One of my must have brush :)
I just got this painting liner in Brown, the color is really nice deep brown that I ever had. Very very smooth and easy to glide on your eyelids. I think the texture is better than MAC and definitely better than Bobbi Brown. Not too drying and stay put all day long. The price is a little high for a small jar but I believe it last long time. I want to try in other colors also. Worth the money for sure with Shu Uemura.
Sunscreen -La Roche Posay - Anthelios Xl SPF 50+ Fluide Extreme (for face)
onmanee 4/21/2009 12:24:00 AM
This is my favorite sunscreen so far. The texture is very similar to japanese sunscreen (milky) good for oily or combination skin. I am prone to acne and I have no problem with this sunscreen at all. I love this sunscreen cus it has very high PPD which is 28 and SPF 50 with water-resistant. It's not available in the US so you have to buy it online. It contains both Mexoryl SX and XL filter. I found it very awesome whenever I got fresh acne marks the dark spot from the acne mark cure really fast compare to when I didn't use this sunscreen. I always come back to this sunscreen. Blush -Chanel - Les Tissages de Chanel - Blush Duo Tweed Effect
onmanee 4/20/2009 2:20:00 PM
This is actually my first CHANEL Blush. Normally, I don't like chanel blush that much because every time I tried at the counter it seems like the pigment is not good enough for my standard. But this one the pigment is really good and easy to apply with hint of shimmery not too much ( I bought the Corail // orange and pink ). The only complain about this blush is the tweed effect it's just on the top of the pan, once you keep using it the pretty tweed effect will goes away (how sad!) I think they should make to make the tweed effect last for the whole pan. This is a lovely orange pink blush I would recommended. I wish the brush that come with could be a little softer.
Primer/ Corrector -Kanebo - LUNASOL Control Makeup Base SPF20
onmanee 3/25/2009 5:37:00 PM
I have this primer in 03 Clear. It's light yellow cream and very easy to blend. Sometimes I use this alone without foundation and still give me bright and healthy looking skin. My skin get red easily so this is perfect for me to cover some red blotchy. If you not a big fan of foundation but still want some coverage that look very natural and even out skin tone. I think this is what you should try. Plus it has SPF to protect your skin as well.
I have to say that I actually love this powder. I am using #4 light yellow undertone. I use this powder on my bare skin and with foundation the result is amazing! My skin look flawless. I am not sure about oil control since at the moment the weather is kind of cold so my skin don't get oily as much. The only thing that I don't like about this powder is the puff that come with it and the price but oh well it's GA. I don't use the puff but I use the powder brush to apply, the result is better. Yes, when I ran out I will repurchase it again. I wish they redesign the package with the half-moon brush with the double deck package it will be awesome.
This serum contain a lot of silicone you can see from the ingredient list. Ingredients list: Cyclopentasiloxane, Dimethiconol, Dimethicone, Lecithin, Octyl Cocoate, Phenyltrimethicone, Triticum Vulgare (Wheat) Germ Oil, Tocopherol (Vitamin E), Retinol (Vitamin A), Sodium Ascorbate (Vitamin C), Glycolipids, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride. I am not sure that I really love this serum or not it's kinda mix feeling. First, when you put on your face is kinda slick smooth feeling then it absorbs to your skin pretty fast. But I don't think it give enough hydration to my skin. Surely, feel good when you first put it on your face but after that.. nothing happen. Good thing is it doesn't break me out or anything. Normally, I don't like skincare that contain silicone that much. But this one seems to be okay. I might just finish this one and buy Total Vitalmin instead.
This is my everyday liquid foundation at the moment. I use #4 yellow undertone. Just one pump it's enough for my entire face. Coverage is medium plus the SPF15. Never gotten any breakout from the GA Hydra Glow. It matches my skin perfectly I would say. I hope they won't discontinue this.
This is my new favorite face wash. I got it the first time with my clarisonic and I am continued using it and the current one is my third tube already. This cleanser contained all the ingredients that good for acne-prone skin like me ie, salicylic acid, phytic acid, glycolic acid, lactic acid and tree tea oil. The price is kinda expensive in my opinion $28 for 4oz. (120mL) I used up one tube almost every month. I wish they make a little bit bigger pump bottle it will be better in term of packaging because sometimes the gel was leaking out from the cap. I love the scent, kinda citrus smell because it contains tangerine peel oil. Now, I ordered from spalook freefill every 6 weeks so I will never ran out of it anymore.
Misc Beauty Tools -Clarisonic - Pro Skincare Brush

After I read about people raving about this clarisonic it made me want to get one so badly. Finally, I got one about like a month ago and I think this is time to write a review. My skin usually break out on and off all the time. Before I started using clarisonic I had those bumpy around my cheeks and forehead, very annoying so much. After I used clarisonic for a month, twice a day in the morning and at night. My skin is completely changed. Now is clear almost blemish free very smooth like baby butt. I use clarisonic with Kate Somerville Detox Daily Cleanser rotate with Papaya Cleanser by Dr. Rick Noodleman my setting is low with sensitive head brush but each time I use 2 rounds probably 2 minutes. My brother came and saw my face he ran off and order one for himself. I would recommended this to everybody if you really want super clean and clear face. I actually saw the result after 3-4 times used. My husband touched my face and said Holy Cow that's really smooth face.
Foundations -Yves Saint Laurent - Perfect Touch Radiant Brush Foundation
onmanee 1/29/2008 8:47:00 PM
I accidently tried this product for the first time when my husband got some cosmetics for me from France and the lady at the store gave him this YSL sample. When I first tried I was like OMG this is the foundation that I was waiting for. Not too thick, very smooth on the skin, good coverage. I got the sample in #8 it was a little too dark for me but the texture of the foundation is just so fantastic. So I went to the YSL counter at Nordstrom and the MA pick the color for me which is 6 and 7. #6 is more pinkish and #7 is more neutral, basicly, I could use either one but I picked #6. I don't have any problem with the packaging at all. Never had any mess with this package at all. Read the instruction how to use from the leaflet inside the box.
Lip Gloss -Laura Mercier - Lip Plumper in Persimmon
onmanee 7/30/2007 6:43:00 PM
I am reviewing Laura Mercier Lip Plumper in Persimmon, and Pink Grapefruit. First I got this lip gloss from the nordstrom set but it Latte color which I find it's very soothing and very nice texture. I am so addicted to the Latte one then I went to get one more but I got the Pink Grapefruit instead of Persimmon. Actually, both color are nice on me the MA at Laura Mercier tried to tell me to get both. HAHA Overall I think it's the best lip gloss that I ever used except the price is kinda killing me as a $30 dollars not included taxes. I might go back and get the other color soon!
Blush -Laura Mercier - Illuminating Powder - Coral Red Quad
onmanee 7/30/2007 6:29:00 PM
I am reviewing Laura Mercier Illuminating Quad Coral Red color. I bought this from Nordstrom as a set of Nordstrom exclusive. This set includes a double-pocket brown cosmetic bag, full-size Latte Lip Plumper (0.18 oz.), mini Shimmer Coral Red Illuminating Quad (0.14 oz.), mini Shimmer Creme Brulee Souffle Body Creme (2 oz.) and a mini Finishing Brush. I never thought I would like this blush but I did try with the mini finishing brush and it gave me the best look ever! The color is perfect for me coral red, blend with my skin very nice and look so natural. I recommended use with the Finishing Brush. I personally have a lot of brush collection but since I got this LM Illuminating Quad I just pick this little one to put on everyday. I am thinking to get the Pink Rose also. I think the trick is swirl all 4 colors in once with the finishing brush and apply on your cheeks. =^^=
This is a GREAT liquid foundation. I am using 103 yellow undertone since I am an asian, I mixed it with color control #2 (I believe it's coral). It's really match with my skintone perfectly. I also use creme foundation by La Mer, I give this RMK and La Mer almost the same result. Once you put it on it gave velvety and smooth look. Also, the price much cheaper than La Mer foundation too. I hope they'll improve the packaging by adding pumping bottle or something cus when i pour it out it's a little messy. By the way, I don't get any blemish from RMK foundation at all.
