I had been using this product for years because of my rosacea. Unfortunately, they've changed the formula. It just does not do what it used to for me. Now it just sits on the skins and seems to take forever to absorb. Before, it would just sink right in after a minute or two. I really hate it when companies change formulas and don't let customers know. I still buy many of Clarins products, as customer communication is not any cosmetic company's strength.
Treatments -Paula's Choice - Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Lotion Exfoliant

I prefer the previous formula which had less moisturizers. I imagine that is what's setting off some folks' breakouts. I have rosacea and hormonally challenged skin. One contributor to rosacea is a form of skin mite and salicylic acid kills it. For me, who cant use retin a to help the rosacea (it can for some folks), I tried this instead with much better results. Yes, it does make you peel, but I use Avene serum and Rich Optimale Cream with good success to minimize that side effect. I also use it every other night to minimize the amount of peeling. It has helped minimize the bumps and redness.(I use Prosacea only on nose and chin in the morning.) Overall, I recommend this product for dry uneven skin that is easily irritated. Just use in moderation for varying results.

Very very surprised at how well this product worked. I paid 12.99 for almost 7 oz. at TJMaxx. It is truly a simple basic moisturizer that easily soaked into my parched skin. Love that it doesn't make me break out. Love that my makeup goes perfectly on top of this. I do use Avon's Ulitmate Serum first, then this, then foundation. Worth 43 dollars retail, nah, don't think so. 12.99 discount - absolutely! I plan on going back later this week to get two more bottles. UPDATE: love it so much I'm using on my body now. Great to have just one moisturizer for face and body. At night I use Avon's Ultimate Night Repair cream by itself and it that leaves my skin perfect so I don't need addll moisture.
LOVE this product. It keeps my coarse colored hair from frizzing out, especially in summer. I use a pump on mine and it only takes three pumps to cover my shoulder length hair. The smell is wonderful and it leaves my hair SUPER soft! One bottle has lasted me about 4 months. I would heartily recommend this to anyone who has my type of hair or frizz issues. (Works better than John Frieda's product)
Mascara -Borghese - Superiore State-Of-The-Art Mascara

My now favorite mascara, and I don't usually wear mascara. Used to wear L'Oreal's Voluminous but it started to smear, giving me raccoon eyes. Borghese's doesn't smear at all and comes off easily. Makes my lashes look lush without the clumping AND it comes in other colors besides black and brown!
Blush -Laura Mercier - Crème Cheek Colour in Oleander

Love this color. Kind of a soft pink without any shimmer. Works great for my parched skin, making it more satin finish than a regular powder blush. So far no breakouts but will update accordingly. I use it every day. Like it so much its replaced my old time HG fav, Tempo by Paula Dorf.
Unfortunately i won't be buying this again. I have rosacea and apparently Q10 is significant amounts irritates rosacea. I came to find this out the first time I applied this on my skin. My face was beet red, literally, and on fire within 5 minutes. I can't knock it down for my quirky skin as it might work well with normal/combo skin. :-( I so wanted to like it too.
Eyeliner -Pixi - Endless Silky Eye Pen - Black Tulip

LOVE this for summer!!! This is a black purple color that makes my hazel eyes look green. :-) I WANT to love eyeliner but it never seemed to stay put despite primer. Well, let me tell you, I took a shower and this was still on when I got out! It feels like silk when you put it on - no tugging whatsoever. I now prefer this over Sephora's liquid liner for ease of use and color. Kind of pricey at $18 but less than Mercier's similar color (which isnt waterproof). Will definitely repurchase, perhaps in a brown color as well.

I was quite skeptical at first when I bought this but I wanted something lighter than my Clarins extrafirming foundation for summer. I am so glad I took the chance. A previous reviewer commented on it being sparkly but I've tried LM tinted moisturizer and I think LM is more sparkly than this one. There are no visible specks of sparkle, which I appreciate. It is truly a glow. Since I started using this I received some compliments from people I don't even know - like when I go grocery shopping! That's never happened before. The concealer works for me on my undereye circles and give fair to moderate coverage om spots. I use Maybelline coverup for spots in beige, an old standby, but works every time. I do LOVE LOVE the physical sunscreen as opposed to the chemical ones; the latter leave a yucky film on my face and break me out. I wish the SPF was higher though. I wear No. 1 which is very close to 104 Cream in Clarins extrafirming. I do top it off with BE Mineral Veil when I go play golf and it seems to stay put. One drawback: it seems pricey for the amount you get in the tube. Overall, it won't stop me from purchasing, so its a definite repurchase for me.
I've been using this for awhile now along with LightStim and gotta tell ya....results are pretty impressive. I had lines under my eyes as well as crows feet and they are about half what they were. Its takes slower to work on the forehead but again, I still have reduction (which is better than nothing and better than botox). I prefer the serum over the night cream due to texture. It doesn't make my face red like other AHA products or retin-a (and I have rosacea). No breakouts either. I have noticed pore reduction as well although not as good if I used retin-a. One con: the packaging sucks. Period. I don't know what they heck Avon was thinking of when they created the packaging, but a simple tube would work just as well and probably reduce the cost overall. Nonetheless, that alone won't stop me from purchasing again. Compared to other exotically priced serums without the science behind it, Reversalist serum is a deal.
Treatments -Alpha Hydrox - 8% AHA Exfoliating Cream

This WAS my favorite exfoliator until they DISCONTINUED it. GRRRRRR.......
I usually wear warm sand in BB as that is a perfect match but I have to say, 104 comes awfully close it. The texture is buttery soft and leaves a semi-satin finish (which I prefer). It lasts all day with no touchups and doesn't dry out my skin like other foundations. I especially like that the sunscreen is a physical one (titanium dioxide) instead of a blend or just chemical. For me, there is more evidence on the benefits of using a physical vs chemical sunscreen so that's a big purchasing factor. Price was reasonable for a department store brand/35. Color selection leans on the pink side but a few are neutral or yellow based, like 104 - more neutral. This overrules my Revlon PhotoFinish and will repurchase until something comes along to replace it.
I use this after my ROC retinol night and underneath my primer during the day. My face and neck are uber soft. No clogged pores either. Light scent but it fades. Wish they had a comparable eye cream. Update 5-27-11: made me breakout --- BAD.
Primer/ Corrector -Maybelline - Maybelline Coverstick Corrector Concealer

This makes the BEST eyeshadow base ever!!!!! Its the only thing that covers the ruddiness and keep cream eye shadow stay put. I use it in Medium Beige. Sometimes that's all I put on my lids with mascara. Loveit!
Loving this for my rosacea hormonally challenged and dehydrated skin! Price is a bit high for the ingredients and quantity, but I will still repurchase because it doesn't sting my skin or remain sticky. Bravo!
