Treatments -Philosophy - On A Clear Day Retinol Clarifying Lotion

This product is amazing! I cannot believe how much it has helped even out the tone of my skin from the mess it was a few weeks ago. It helped fade the red scarring from my adult acne & made my face look amazingly clear. I've tried many things but this is by far the product with the best results & has been the least irritating. I have very sensitive skin & am able to use this twice a day. I am loving this stuff!
Primer/ Corrector -Philosophy - The Present- Clear Powder

I like this stuff but there is something about it that holds me back from completely raving about it. I have combination skin & it works well at controlling oil for a reasonable amount of time. My problem is that it seems to alter the way my foundation works. I don't know if it is the combination of the two or what but the foundation doesn't seem to last as long as if I use the Smashbox primer. I'm torn though because I prefer this product to the Smashbox. I think I need to try some of the tricks the earlier girls are doing to improve my results. I really like it because it's great on my acne prone skin, I just haven't gotten it right yet.
This is great if you don't have sensitive skin that's not all that dry. I use it because it's easy on my skin & my sinuses but it doesn't work all that well for keeping my skin moist. It does the job but needs frequent reapplication especially if you wash frequently as I do. I will buy it again because there is no scent at all which is great for me because I hate scented lotions & the havoc they create for my sinus problems but I now know it's not a miracle cure for my super dry skin. The search continues but this will do for now.
Follows Suzy Cuties lead & *squeals* This stuff is way nicer than I had expected. I was originally attracted to the product because it was "green" but when I saw that Mariska Hargitay had a hand in the product I just had to have it, I'm a huge fan of hers so I bought it no questions asked. I was surprised to find how much I loved it. The color is a nice neutral brown with a hint of red & it has a matte finish which I love. I usually wear a thin layer to get a lighter shade of the color which gives my lips a more natural look. I've gone through 2 sticks of this stuff. The packaging is adorable as well. You can plant the box & supposedly it will grow flowers, I don't have a green thumb so I can't say for sure how fantastically this works out but all in all it's pretty cool. As if all of this wasn't good enough a portion of the proceeds go to charity!
Ok. The only reason I bought this is because of all of the hoopla on the boards about it. It was the "in thing" & of course I had to check it out so I would be in the know. Well much to my surprise it lived up to the hype. It's great. In fact it's right up there with some of the very high priced mascaras I've used in the past. The mascara is so easy to use, it had a nice fat brush that really separates my lashes making them look full & lush. I couldn't ask for more from a $7 mascara. I have already bought my next tube.
I'm not going to lie to you, I have no idea what the actual purpose of this product is, but it is delightful. The spray is a great little "pick me up" when I get home from a rough day at work or if I've been traveling. The mist has a light peppermint scent & cools the skin when you spray it on. It's just so refreshing & I don't care that the little bottle seems over priced, I love it.
Gels/Soaps -Philosophy - Amazing Grace Bath, Shampoo & Shower Gel

I cannot tell you how much I love this shower gel. The smell is so amazing & light. It leaves a slight scent on you skin that lingers throughout the day, but you only catch it every now & then. I love the surprise pops of scent & the comments that I receive on it. Who doesn't love people telling them that they smell so good? Even the bank teller noticed.....awkward. LOL! I have already gone through one bottle & will be buying another soon.
I usually hate lotions because of my sensitive skin & allergies but this one is great for me. The winter weather has done a number on my skin & I like that the slight gold tint hides the dry look that I'm currently sporting. The lotion does have a slight smell which smells pretty good once I apply the lotion. I thought at first that it would be to much for my sinuses but it's not had much of an effect so I'm very happy with the way this product has worked out.
Lip Treatments -Caudalie - Grapeseed Lip Conditioner

This stuff is so amazing. I realized after not leaving my house without this for the past month how much I actually love it. I put it on & my lips are so soft & silky. It's not waxy like chapsticks are & the smell is soft, sweet almost marshmallowy & light. I have tried so many things for my lips but this is by far the best I've tried. Big thanks to the sales woman at Sephora for recommending this. If you're looking for something to keep your lips moist & soft this will do the trick.
Well the reviews on this were pretty bad but I bought this without checking first & I'm kinda glad I did. I'm not having any of the issues that I've seen mentioned here. I have had no clumping & my lashes are not only looking fuller but longer as well. It goes on easily & the mascara goes right on without any problems. I actually think it's easier to apply my mascara because my lashes are already ready to go. With a really good mascara like YSL I could see this stuff being a must have for me. I've been using this with Smashbox's That's a Wrap in Black & I'm not thrilled with the combo.
Not thrilled at all with this product. I love Benefit, they usually have some great stuff but this is probably the worst I've tried. It's hard to blend & settled into the creases of my eyelid & within a few hours my eyes looked awful. I kept trying different ways to apply but nothing worked, I ended up with the same effect no matter what I tried. I've given up...$18 down the drain.
There seems to be a big divide in those that use this product. I happen to really like it, I loved the fact that it seemed to even out my skin & relieve some of my redness. My skin is very sensitive & it's occasionally slightly pinkish or splotchy from something or other. The lotion went on nicely & I didn't need to use a whole lot to get results. I've been using this on & off for about four or five months now & I'm very happy. I would certainly purchase this again & I plan on trying other La Mer products because this worked out so well.
Another great Giorgio Armani product. As you can tell by my other GA lipstick review I love the quality of these lipsticks. The color on this one is very natural & goes with just about every skin tone. I wear this on days when I'm going for a fresh undone but really done look.
When I first saw the color I thought to myself, no way am I buying that! It was a dark maroon color with gold & it looked very dark for my tone. I tried it anyway on the recommendation of the sales person & much to my surprise it looked fabulous! I love the quality of the lipstick, I have never really found a brand that I loved, I've always loved the colors but never actually the lipstick itself until I tried Giorgio Armani. My only gripe & this could just be me, is that the lids keep coming off in my purse & I destroy them. I've tried several & they all come off. Nonetheless I have continued to purchase these as they are the most amazing lipsticks I've ever used.
City Block is great! I almost always use this on top of my makeup, mostly because sunblock is an afterthought for me but occasionally I'll put it under & it works out just as nicely. I have very sensitive combo skin & this was great because it didn't leave me with oily patches or pink cheeks. I think the tube is pretty big & if you compare it to regular drug store brand sun blocks that are made for the face it is not expensive at all.
