Fragrances -Clean - Clean EDT
rated 5 of 5
olivehoney 11/21/2006 10:54:00 AM

I completely agree with the comment right below mine. The EDT smells entirely different from the EDP! Even though the Clean EDP lasted longer I hated the smell. but the EDT smells absolutely fresh and gorgeous. I've been getting compliments for the past week about how great I smell. Even all the girls at work ask me if I just showered before I came in to work! I just can't stop even smelling my wrists at work. I also love how it has jasmine in it cause I absolutely worship the way jasmine smells. If it had gardenia in it then I would be in heaven but I still love the way this smells. It truely is going to end up being the only perfume I'll end up using. I also have Vera Wang and Stella M but I find myself reaching for this so much more. it's not very very strong and I like I said it doesn't last nearly as long as the EDP but it definitely does linger and isn't overwhelming at all. So when people smell you they just get a hint of the scent which is enough to make them wonder how you smell so good. I also really want the hair fragrance spray but for $39 dollars a bottle I'll just spritz some of the EDT im my hair lol! You also get a ton of perfume for the price in my opinion. It's over 2 oz and costs about 45$ at Sephora and Ulta. I just love it. The spray nozzel even lets off just the perfect fine mist.

Shampoo -ABBA - MoistureScentsation Shampoo
rated 5 of 5
olivehoney 9/28/2006 11:31:00 AM

I love this shampoo! I bought the matching conditioner to go along with it and I actually love them both. I don't wash my hair every single day but I do workout almost every single day and when I do wash my hair this shampoo is sooooo refreshing! Leaves my hair clean and cool. The condtioner leaves more of a tingle from the peppermint than the shampoo does but I definitely get a slight cooling sensation from the shampoo too! The shampoo smells very sweet and clean. More like eucalyptus and mint. Just wonderful. It lathers extremely well and leaves my hair so soft and shiny too. I got the shampoo for $10 plus tax which isn't too bad at all IMHO. I thought it was completely worth the price. Wasn't harsh at all on my baby baby fine but TONS of it head of hair and left my hair smelling and looking fab! I just keep wanting to touch and smell my hair cause it feels soooo soft and smells so sweet. Like I said with the conditioner this is definite HG material for me and I love how the they're both Vegan!

Conditioner -ABBA - Moisture ScentSation
rated 5 of 5
olivehoney 9/28/2006 11:26:00 AM

I am absolutely loving this conditioner so far! I bought it with the matching Shampoo and it makes my hair feel smell and look fantastic. The scent is just simply divine and I love how it lingers in my hair after I style it. My friends have been constantly catching me smelling my hair throughout the day. The sent it fairly sweet floral...kind of like peppermint/rose/eucalyptus too me. Just heavenly and leaves my hair so shiny. The conditioner IMHO makes my scalp tingle alot more than the shampoo. It's gotta be the peppermint. Gives my scalp a cool refreshing tingle as I condition...which I never really expected from a conditioner since when and if I ever get that type of sensation it's normally from a shampoo. This is definite HG material. Very moisturizing and didn't seem to weigh down my baby baby fine but TONS of it head of hair at all. It even seemed to help reduce my flyaways :) LOVE LOVE LOVE IT! The price isn't too bad. The conditioner I got for 17$ with tax which is nothing compared to some of the ridiculous prices I've spent on hair condish! This one was definitely well worth it's price tag. Doesn't also hurt that it's vegan too ;)

Treatments -Philosophy - The Microdelivery Peel Pads
rated 5 of 5
olivehoney 9/7/2006 7:28:00 AM

I've been using these for about 2 weeks now and I can definitely see the difference in my skin. I've used philosophy products since I was 16 but I've never done any sort of a PEEL on my face. I just recently started surfing more/ playing beach volleyball more and since I'm out in the sun alot more my skin started looking not so hot. My skintone and texture just wasn't as nice as it use to be and I started getting mild break outs on my chin. I started using these little genious pads before bed & in the morning twice a week and could feel the difference in my skin. I stopped using them in the mornings though for awhile because in combination with Houston's humidity, the chemicals or whatever it leaves on my face made me feel sticky. I don't mind that feeling at night tho so now I wash my face with real purity, use the Peel Pads, then apply when hope is not enough night time lotion. My complexion looks so even now and the texture is soooo smooth. 100 times better IMHO! I had never really had skin problems before all of this happened but Philosophy always seems to fix it for me.

Eyeliner -MAC - Technakohl in Graphblack
rated 5 of 5
olivehoney 9/7/2006 7:22:00 AM

I use to swear by Blacktrack fluidline until my MAC MUA introduced me to these little beauties! I only have graphblack but it's my new HG liner for lining my water line (upper and lower). The pencil is so so so soooo creamy, goes on like a dream, and then doesn't budge. Plus it's a true very very black pencil so you don't have to keep applying it to make it stand out at all. One swipe totally does the trick. I also love the twist up feature cause I hate having to sharpener eyeliners. For my upper lashline above my lashes I still use my fluidline from time to timme especially for tight lining since this one doesn't do to will tightlining, but if your a girl that always lines on the inside of her lash line (aka "the water line" as some girls call it) on the upper or lower lid, and your looking for that perfect pencil, then you've gotta try this one. It's fantastic. I also have very sensitive eyes and had completely given up on lining my water line until this came out. Now I can make my eyes POP!

Lip Gloss -Trish McEvoy - Lilac Lipgloss
rated 5 of 5
olivehoney 9/7/2006 7:17:00 AM

This is quickly becoming an HG for me. I'm not much for a tone of color lipglosses but this one just brings out the natural beauty of my lips. It looks like a very harsh lilac shade in the tube but goes on like nothing. It's so hard to explain cause it just makes your lips gleam/glow. It even tones down my lip color a bit to make any eye makeup I'm wearing POP. The formula is very very soft, not very sticky at all which is a plus for me. I love the little brush applicator much like MAC lustreglass and I love that there's no harsh scent or glitter in it (which is why I can't handle MAC lustreglasses sometimes) The packaging is very plain but sleek. I just can't use this gloss enough.

Blush -MAC - Matte Blush - Frankly Scarlet
rated 5 of 5
olivehoney 9/7/2006 7:11:00 AM

I absolutely love this blush!!! And it was sooo hard to get my little hands on. I read in Instyle magazine quite awhile back that this is one of Rachel McAdams swear by MU picks, so of course I had to see it for myself. When I looked it up online I was like YIKES!!! The swatches looked almost fuschia colored (EEEKK!) But as we all know, swatches from time to time can be very very misleading, so I had to check it out in person. This was difficult. The only MAC store that carried it in the Houston area was the MAC pro store in the Galleria! So I had to drive and hour and half in traffic to go check it out, (Thank God I had to do some shopping anyway that day) When I finally saw it in person I had a similar reaction to the swatch I saw. I was kind of fiddling with it then put it down and started to walk away...when suddenly...one of the MAC MUAs ran up to me and said "I'm sorry, did you want to try that blush? Do you need a brush?" I laughed and said "No way, that's way too bright for me" She replied by telling me that it would actually be perfect for my olive skintone if I applied it correctly and that it was one of her favorites. She sat me down, pulled out her MAC skunk brush and applied a sheer veil of the powder to the apples of my cheeks and my cheekbones. VOILA!!! Isn't glow! I was amazed! It looked so candy apple red with a bit of pink in it but if you put it on very sheerly it gives you such a healthy flush. The color on my olive skintone is like a redish/pink but looks like some one slightly pinched my cheeks. It was perfect and you get a ton of powder. I don't think I'll ever run out of this. She even showed me how to apply it lightly with my finger tips then sheer it out. I just can't get enough of this blush and everytime I wear it all my friends tell me my skin looks so amazing...not my blush, but my skin, like it lights up my complexion :D THANKS MAC! oh yeah...and Rachel McAdams he he he :D

Conditioner -Sunsilk - Hydra TLC conditioner
rated 5 of 5
olivehoney 8/18/2006 10:36:00 AM

I actually really liked this conditioner in conjunction with the matching shampoo. Not a d/s brand girl at all when it comes to hair products but because of all the hype and my friends raves I had to give it a shot. The smell is fantastic! I have very very baby fine hair but a TON of it and this conditioner made my hair soft and smooth. My hair is naturally beach wavy and long about mid back but I straighten it everytime I wash it. I kind of even like that it leaves a good slip behind after I rinse it eventhough other reviewers complain that it's hard to rinse out. I really didn't see a problem with the rinse out, but I do always rinse my hair with cold water to make my cuticle lie down. I used alittle bit of the TLC 24/7 creme with a dab of my Jonathan Glossing Leave in and voila, the perfect blow out. My hair was soft, incredibly shiny and flowed well without any fly aways. I also couldn't stop smelling my hair! I don't wash my hair everyday (I wash it every other 3 days or so depending on how dirty it gets) and this stuff doesn't make my hair feel greasy by the next day. When I woke up my hair actually still felt light. I think this is because the conditioner contains a lighter cone... (not dimethicone like the frizz sunsilk line but dimethiconol which is a cone but a lighter form) Definitely worth the 3 dollars I spent on it, but I really want to try the anti-frizz line for when I wear my hair wavy.

Shampoo -Sunsilk - Hydra TLC shampoo

I decided to give this a try at walmart yesterday, it's the one in the pink bottle. The smell is fantastic and it lathers really well. Rinsed well too. I usually don't use d/s brands but all my friends have been raving mad about this stuff. Completely worth the 3 dollars I spent on it so I'll be rotating it between my FF Glossing line and my TiGi Oatmeal Honey line.

Polishes -OPI - The Lifeguard Makes Me Blush
rated 5 of 5
olivehoney 8/9/2006 11:40:00 AM

I absolutely love this nail polish! It's my new HG. I've never been a PINk girl (Don't really own anything pink) but I just got a manicure and saw this polish which I had to have! The name is so cute and the color is like a retro 80s hot pink! I mean a true true blue undertoned Fushcia Hot Pink! It's gorgeous. It has no shimmer so after it's on a dries to a beautiful lacquered wet finish. I just feel so 80s EMO RETRO with this polish on :D ROCKSTAR ALL THE WAY!

Hair -TiGi - Catwalk Honey &Oatmeal Shampoo and conditioner
rated 5 of 5
olivehoney 7/19/2006 12:00:00 PM

OMG!!! I love this stuff. I've used so many of the TiGi Conditioners/Shampoos and none of them have worked as well as this one. I've tried Control Freak, Moisture Maniac, and Self Absorbed, but this one takes the cake. They all have their own distinct wonderful smell of course, but the others smell quite fruity. This one is entirely differnt. Smells like Christmas IMHO, but like gingerbread cookies! Think Philosophy Gingerbread 3 in 1 or Philsophy Gingerbread Man Lipshine (I identical to the way this smells). So sweet and leaves my hair feeling incredible. The slogan is "Comfort Food For Your Hair" and they weren't lying. It leaves your hair feeling so nourished, soft, shiny and easy to manage. I just got my hair cut for the first time at a Tony and Guy Salon. My stylist Billy washed my hair with this and after he finished my hair cut I had to have it! My hair looked fantastic. I've been using it for a week now and my hair looks amazing. I have very very baby fine hair but I have a TON of it. It's jet black (My mom's grandparents are from Spain - Thanks for the Jet Black Hair) and looks awful when it's not shiny. This stuff left my hair so so so shiny. I lathere up, rinsed, put the conditioner in, let it sit for acouple of minutes, then rinsed with cold water like Billy did. It even left just the right amount of slip in my hair to make my tangles easy to come (My hair falls alittle past mid-back). It was worth the money too considering that Tony & Guy was running a promo for 2 liter bottles (the shampoo and condish) for only $24! I will definitely buy this again if it ever runs out.

Treatments (Eye) -Philosophy - Hope in a Tube - High Density Eye and Lip Firming Cream
rated 5 of 5
olivehoney 7/14/2006 10:58:00 AM

I love this stuff! So pricey but really wakes my eyes up. I'm 24 and I started using this when I was 20 and I am sooooo glad I did. I think this has prevented any fine lines from settling in (I know I'm still young but I played 5 years of college softball in New Mexico0 and think because of this stuff my lips and eyes have stayed in really good shape. Its very dense and very moisturizing. No strong smell or taste on my lips but just leaves my eyes glowing and my lips so soft and smooth. I put this on my lips and eyes every morning and night after washing my face with real purity and I just keep the tube with me for touch ups on my lips throughout the day as needed. FYI: alittle really does go along way so the tube should last quite awhile if you use just the right amount :) Also, my eyes are extremely sensitive and this cream doesn't irritate them one bit. I even apply it to my lids to help prevent my lids from getting wrinkled or to keep my cream eyeshadows from creasing :)

Moisturizers -Philosophy - Hope in a Jar - for all skin types
rated 5 of 5
olivehoney 7/14/2006 10:52:00 AM

I can't believe all the bad reviews for this moisturizer. I've been using it since my sophmore year in highschool (8 years) and it's still the best moisturizer I have ever used.I do think it did take a week for my skin to adjust to it but after that it was smooth sailing all the way :) Very pricey but well worth the money. I wash my face with real purity then apply this in the morning (I use When Hope Is Not Enough at night before bed). I just can't believe I never reviewed this sooner, but along with real purity, this is one of the many reasons I think my skin has looked so good all these years. I'm just glad I started using philosophy that early in life, cause I am definitely reaping the benefits now. The lotion is not to thick, not to thin. It also has a slight hint of a lavendar smell. My skin is extremely sensitive and at first I thought about using the version for sensitive skin, but this one works fine. Really calms my skin and keeps it glowing. I think it has actually helped normalize my skin. It leaves my skin supple without being to greasy and gives me a nice healthy glow. I think it also helped to reduce/prevent the sundamage I have from playing softball all through childhood, and 5 years of college softball as well under the New Mexico dry heat sunshine :) It's just a great moisturizer, and no wonder when it's been voted Instyle and Allure and Cosmo's best facial moisturizer before.
