This loose powder by Cover Girl is not the worst but I wouldn't say it is the greatest. It's one of those products that are on the fence and just gets the job done. I really like that it doesn't flake up my skin and leaves it pretty smooth and soft. It keeps my foundation in tack and my super oily skin at bay. Packaging could use some reinventing. There is a sifter included but it's not a closed sifter, so if you tumble the container your powder will be spilling inside and it can get pretty messy. I like that it comes with a powder puff which is cute and convenient but it surely needs some sort of strap or handle. And yes, just like the other reviewers have mentioned the scent is quite strong. It doesn't bother me because I'm not too sensitive to the smell but damn it's pretty sharp when you first apply it to your skin.

Foundations -Cover Girl - Outlast Stay Fabulous 3 in 1 Foundation

HERE IT IS girls. This is my HG. For years I was searching for the right liquid foundation that wouldn't break me out, flake, build oil, great coverage and lasted long- and I found it in this product. It didn't do any of the above and best of all, my acne prone skin stayed soft and smooth which is a huge plus for me. It kept my extremely oily skin at bay for at least 5-7 hours with no shine. Also it comes in quite a bit of colour selection and the one I'm using is "Soft Honey", which is a pretty good match for me! Also I love that the bottle is a pump dispenser because it makes application a lot faster and easier. Sure it is a bit pricey for a drug store product but at the end of the day, it's totally worth it. A great product overall, I hope they don't stop selling it!

Polishes -Rimmel - Lasting Finish Pro Enamel all shades, new square bottle

Love love love this nail polish! First of all the shade I used is Hot Cocoa and I have to say it's a very nice colour. I recommend applying more than one coat although it's not too transparent if you use one coat. What I love the most is the brush tip, it's like the perfect width for my fingernails. Also it dries fairly fast and doesn't last very long but it's not too bad (not a lot of peeling or scratching). Great product Rimmel!

Primer/ Corrector -Rimmel - Fix and Perfect Foundation Primer

The only foundation primer I used so far is Rimmel's Fix and Perfect. The colour of it is not to be a threat as it is an apricot shade, it does blend invisibly and leaves the skin feeling quite soft and smooth. It definitely holds on to the foundation well and keeps it lasting almost all day. The packaging is your standard cream plastic bottle and for some odd reason I like the light scent it has.

Mascara -Maybelline - Great Lash Mascara

This product is a "meh". I actually wish I didn't buy it because I probably won't be using it very often. The brush applicator has a very synthetic feel to it and it doesn't volumaize or add length to my eyelashes... instead it just spreads them apart which looked awkward and not something I'd like to be sporting. Is it waterproof like it promotes? Yeah sure, it is but that's about it. I do like the colours they used for it's packaging (very retro).

Blush -Rimmel - Match perfection blush light/medium 002

I do like this blush, I got it in Medium/Dark and it suits my skin tone- the colour palette is just right although I'd say it's has more of the "browner" shades (since it's tri-toned) and I prefer "red/pink" shades. However after a few times using it my cheeks immediately suffered an acne attack and I'll only be using this blush once in a while :( Also the packaging is plastic... so it's kind of cheap. Overall I wouldn't mind buying it again if it wasn't for my sensitive skin as it does stay on quite nicely.

Liquid -L'Oreal - True Match Super-Blendable Makeup SPF 17

The true match colour is close but I find it's a bit more yellow. The bottle packaging is a little messy but that's not a huge problem for me. It is a runny liquid concealer because it is oil free which has more water based products- good for oily skin (which I have!). I can't say the oil on my skin didn't seep through but I suppose it wasn't as bad as other foundations I've used. It's great that it comes with SPF 17 and is an all day wear (I wore it without powder too). Would I buy it again? Maybe if I'm reluctant to go out and try new products but honestly, next time I would probably try another type of foundation.

Concealers -L'Oreal - True Match Super-Blendable Concealer

What I like most about this product is that it comes with a brush applicator. Other concealers use sponge like tips and it's not as easily applied as the brush I found (at least it isn't as dried or streaky). With that being said the concealer is a little runny but blends fairly well. The true match colour is... debatable but it's not too off.

Eyeliner -Stila - Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner

It was my first time using Stila's products and I gotta say I'm pretty impressed! It is a top notch quality, the price says it all ($30)! It does last a very long time, even through harsh weathers! However just make sure you push the tip in and not just lightly apply it. I love how sharp the tip is too, most pens I've come across has tips that start to dull after a few applications. Last but not least it is very easy to put on, I think I'll only use eyeliner pens from now on!

Mascara -Cover Girl - Lash Blast 24 HR Mascara

This mascara isn't too bad. I wouldn't recommend it but I'll continue using the one I bought. It does thicken the eyelashes but you gotta stroke it through the lashes a couple of times to thin even out the application. Other than that it does stay on pretty well (even through harsh weathers- had to run in a freezing rain storm!) and isn't hell to take off either.

Lipstick -Sephora - Rouge Cream Lipstick

I have never tried using pure red lipstick before so I decided to give a shot. I went to Sephora and purchased this in The Red. I tried it on in the store and absolutely fell in love with it. This is their classic red colour with no other shades added so it's got a real nice rich tone to it. I wore it for a formal so far and it lasted all night long even when I was eating. I didn't have to reapply it (though I did because I'm so used to it with other lipsticks). Definitely worth the buy!

Polishes -Essie - Mink Muffs

Loveee this colour. Essie is a great brand of nail polish. It stays on, dries faster than most brands and doesn't get scratched easily. I used this colour on my toes (since my sandals were brown as well) and I used it all summer long. I think it's a great shade and am willing to buy it again and more of Essie's products.

I have pretty sensitive skin so I was a bit surprised that my skin didn't lose control when I used this. Like the review below said, it is a knock-off version of Clean and Clear's brand but I think it works pretty well. I have pretty oily skin so the drying effect of this cream benefits me! The pumping is great on the top and my favourite part is that when you twist it, you lock the pump- great for travelling. The smell is strong but I don't mind it too much, it doesn't last too long on the skin. An overall okay product!

Eye Shadow -Mary Kay - Cream Eye Color

It's a pricey product but I thought it was pretty good. My friend works for Mary Kay and introduced this product to me. At first, I thought it was nothing special but I bought it anyways because it was something light I could wear on a daily basis. I bought the Iced Cocoa colour which was a like a golden brown. It's easy to apply (just with the fingertips) and lasts all day without creasing and smudging. It works well as a base for eyeliner and other applications too. Soo.... I like it but I'm not sure if I'll be buying it again because of how expensive it is.

Eyeliner -Almay - Liquid Eyeliner Pen

My favourite eyeliner of all time! It definitely is a lot easier to apply since the tip is hard and has a smooth application. I bought the dark brown colour and it's not too strong or too subtle, just right. I'm one of those people who like to wear eyeliner on its own and I always wear this one. It lasts pretty long and doesn't smudge... however it does tend to fade a bit. It comes off easily too when you use make up remover. It will definitely be a product I'll continue to buy.
