Mascara -Maybelline - Define A Lash

I only bought this mascara for the novelty of the color and the wand. I remember around the time this came out, this mascara wand was the most unique. It was a spiky, curvy, flexible type of wand that I had never seen before. When I tried it out, I was very disappointed. The force of the application was not enough to bend the wand (which was supposed to bend to shape to the lash line) so there was really no use for that feature. The mascara did lengthen my lashes, but it did not look good because it did not separate the lashes.

Mascara -Maybelline - Full 'N Soft Mascara

This is a great mascara for everyday use. It highlights your lashes enough without looking too dramatic. I like this mascara because it gives more bulk to my lashes and it still looks quite natural. I don't notice this mascara making my lashes any softer, as it states on the package. I do notice that it washes off quite easily, which is both a positive and negative. Because it washes off easier, I notice that it smudges a bit as well. Overall, this is a good mascara if you are going for a more natural look. I would not count on this mascara to give you bold/lengthy lashes.

Eyeliner -Maybelline - Unstoppable Eyeliner

If you're looking for a colored eyeliner that will make your eyes pop, this is NOT the eyeliner to buy. I have this eyeliner in the Jade shade. I was not a fan of the color. It was a dull grayish-green, a bit reminiscent of moss. The pencil "lead" itself was quite wiggly in the container so that did not make the application process any easier. I can count on one hand the number of times I wore this eyeliner. I tried to make it work, but I just could not bring myself to like it.

Pros: Glides on with ease. Cons: Smudging tip was rough, I did not use it at all. Needs resharpening often. Did not last long. Overall, I would not buy this product again. I would apply it above my top lashes and it would smudge onto the lower lash line.
