Moisturizers -Cerave - Facial Moisturizing Lotion - PM

I have sensitive skin so I need to stay away from fragrance and retinols, which make me itchy. This is a nice basic lotion that has ceramides to help improve my skin. Even though I have combo skin, it can get really dry year round. The texture of this lotion is incredibly light, almost like a gel, but very moisturizing, unlike most gels which leave your skin feeling dry in a few minutes. And you can't beat the price!
I love this stuff. It is the only lip balm that moisturizes and lasts for me. I have tried the Fresh sugar lip treatment everyone loves but that wears off in a nano-second in my opinion. It is the only beauty product I have complete loyalty to, which is saying a lot.
Eyeliner -Make Up For Ever - Aqua Eyes Waterproof Eyeliner Pencil in Mat Black 0L

Finally, a pencil liner that doesn't smudge on my Asian eyes. I've tried so many brands that claim to be longwearing and they all start smudging on my upper lids (due to the fold) within minutes. I've now had the Aqua Eyes 0L on my lids for over 10 hours now and other than a little bit of fading, it has stayed on like a champ. No smudging, no raccoon eyes. I did notice when I was trying on the eyeliner on my hand at Sephora that it needed a few seconds to set - if I rubbed the line right after I put it on, it would smear, but if I left it alone for a few seconds, no amount of rubbing could do any damage. So when I put the liner on, I closed my eyes for few second to let it set and it worked. Worth every penny.
Liquid -L'Oreal - True Match Super-Blendable Makeup SPF 17

I thought that this was a not bad product. The bottle is annoying because it's hard to control how much product comes out - a pump would have been nice. The coverage is nice, it feels light on my skin, and the wear is nice. But unfortunately, it looks ashy on my slightly olive Asian skin. (I bought it in Warm 4.) I suspect that those with cooler undertones will do much better with this foundation.
This is my go to shade for a night out. It's sexy and rock and roll in a very subtle way. Beautiful texture and great staying power. I got it in 2004 and it's still my very favorite shadow.
Blush -Shiseido - Accentuating Color Stick - S2 Peach Flush

This is a beautiful blush. I have fair/medium Asian skin and this blush just makes me look pretty. It can be layered for more intensity, or blended out to be more subtle. What I love is the texture - I can just swipe some on, blend gently with my fingers, and it melts into my skin. One lippie off because, as some have said, the lasting power is only okay. I've found that it works great if you want to layer a powder blush on top.
Tinted Moisturizer -Clinique - City Block Sheer Tint

This was not bad as a tinted moisturizer. I have sensitive skin, and can only tolerate physical sunscreens, which are often heavy and oily feeling. This was a little bit heavy going on, but dried to a non-oily finish. It also had good light coverage (although I can imagine how the shade might make some look ashy). Unfortunately, it does emphasize the dryness of my skin, which really ages you. It might work with a more heavy duty moisturizer underneath (I just use my Olay Regenerist serum), but then it really shouldn't be called tinted moisturizer.

UPDATE 12/4/09: So after I stopped using the serum for a while I realized that it was not the problem - it was my sunscreen. So I got off that and back on the serum and so far not bad. It makes my skin feel smoother immediately but I'm not sure it's doing anything about the wrinkles yet. I'm almost done with this bottle and I will probably give it one more go before I decide. I really wanted to like this product based on the reviews I've read. Also, Paula raves about the ingredients and formulation. But it just does not work for me. The packaging is great, and the price is good for a serum, but it really dries me out. I've come to the realization that silicone products just dry out my skin.
