I also got it at 50% off and for 11 bucks it's worth the money. Some colours are more pigmented than others, shimmery ones are easier to blend. I was playing for 2 days with it only. Can't say I am very excited but it's a product on a drug store level and I treat it as such. Some colours are really pretty - darker ones last longer (I did an experiment at home yesterday wearing different eyeshadows on different eyes). I used MAC primer on my lids. This is my fist experience with CS but I didn't expect MAC quality from them at all (considering the price) so I am sort of OK with the product. I do agree with reviewers who say CS charges too much for their products that they buy in China and HK which is a shame. Same palletes (88, for example) you can get on ebay 10 dollars cheaper than from CS with shipment to Canada. I don't think I will buy from them again but might try 88 or 120 palletes from the same manufacturer from ebay just to play with different colours. These pallets are OK for someone who is just starting out with make up (lot's of different colours) but you get what you are paying for.

Mascara -Paula's Choice - Lush Mascara

Mascara is the only make-up item (well, maybe lip gloss too) that I would buy from PC again. I am a big bog fan of her skincare products (the best I've ever tried) but with makeup she has lot's of misses. I curl my lashes and this mascara actually keeps the curl for the whole day. Stays put and doesn't smudge, it's a definite favourite. I have it in brown and it's a very dark brown, almost black. Perfect for everyday. I bought it for my mom, for a couple of friends and everybody was pretty happy with it. Strange packaging, though. The neck of the container is very thin for the brush and lots of product gets sqeezed out the first couple of weeks of use.

Eye Shadow -Paula's Choice - Soft Matte Eyeshadow [DISCONTINUED]

Make-up in general (except) mascara is not strongest PC's part and probably that's a good thing she decided to concentrate on skincare instead. Shadows are of very high quality in terms of texture (silky and smooth) bu the colours are sooooooooo boring. They are for accentuating your features, not for having fun with make up for sure. Pigmentation is very good, but my problem is the colour choice. If you are in finance or a lawer or just very concervative with your eye makeup these will create your "professional everyday look" but for the majority of women who use make up they are not woth of having. Very good price, though.

Tinted Moisturizer -Paula's Choice - Barely There Sheer Matte Tint SPF 20

I am NC20 in MAC (with pink undertones) and Sheer Fair is actually a perfect colour match for my skin. My skin is normal/combination with oily T-zone without too much discoloration. I am very happy with the product for daytime sheer very natural look - applies fast and even. It doesn't look like I have anything on my skin. Doesn't cover discolorations, though have to use a consealer. It mattifies for half of the day only, by 3 pm I feel shine on my forehead alerady. I use it as a primer for eye lids if I am in a hurry too. Very descent product for the money for everyday use and I will definitely buy again.
