Yes, this gets clumpy the first few times you use it. If it's day time just apply one layer until you get used to it, then you can do what you want. If it does get clumpy you can use those mascara like brushes. Obviously in the evening apply as many layers as you like! Go for it. It is the blackest, most dramatic, lengthening and thickening mascara ever and I love it. It makes my eyes look bigger. It's definitely not a subtle look. I don't even need to use eyelash curlers with this. No complaints! It lasts all day and doesn't flake off. Actually...it is hard to wash/take off. That is a downside but doesn't bother me.
It did nothing for my hair. I tried the shampoo without conditioner a couple of times and my hair felt a lot better and looked shinier but obviously by the end of the day it became drier. It's expensive so you want to convince yourself it's working. After trying Moroccanoil conditioner I realised that the Alterna conditioner was rubbish. The only appealing thing is that it's free from sulfate and sodium chloride. Just like the shampoo it is definitely better than the cheaper shampoos/conditioners but not worth the price tag!
It's definitely better than the cheap shampoos, it doesn't upset the ph balance of your hair (so I think). I still think it's too expensive though. The packaging is so bad. I had to keep it upright all the time, it leaked on furniture in a B&B and stained it. I don't know how to explain it but when you undo the lid, at the top of the bottle there are two little plastic things that stick up and it looks like the top of each are melted down. I don't know how but they seemed to have "burst" before I even took it home. Shampoo leaks from there. I had to buy another bottle by the time I realised and same thing happened. Poor packaging. My hair was less frizzy but still frizzy enough to be embarrassed by going out without styling it properly. For me it's not worth the price tag. I use Moroccanoil shampoo and conditioners now and so much better (honestly).

I can understand the colour is off-putting. It's a dirty khaki colour and darkens as it dries. The smell doesn't bother me - it just smells of natural ingredients. When I get dry flakey skin from old spots this mask helps a lot. Also, if I feel my skin is bumpier than normal I also use this. I find my make up sits better after I use it. I know this is gross - if I decide to squeeze whiteheads out I use this after and my skin does not break out after. The sponges compliment it very well. It polishes your skin. If you decide to scrub your face with it then expect your skin to get shinier after. Not for everyday use, maybe 2 times a week is good... Don't expect it to get rid of your blemishes over night but as the name states it's a deep cleanse mask. Your skin feels refreshed after, cleaner and clearer.
I use this after using Moroccanoil shampoo - so this product may have a different effect on somebody that uses a different brand of shampoo. My hair is actually shiny with this. I've dyed the bottom of my hair so many times (because the colour fades) and after I use this mask the bottom feels so silky. My hair is a lot less frizzy. It's easier to blowdry and straighten my hair after use. You have to use it on towel dried hair or your hair won't absorb it as much as it designed to. You have to rinse it off thoroughly. You don't need too much around the scalp. It is really thick so don't scoop up too much at one go.
I used to use MD Forumation skin care products, I used to have MD Formulation skin facials monthly and my skin used to break out so badly. My acne would be bright red, I was covered in superficial scars. (The beautician would always make excuses, blaming it all on my skin). I started using Simple and it saved my skin. I decided to use this cleanser again after my skin cleared up and this cleanser started to agree with my skin. I apply it to my skin (whilst dry). Massage it with a bit of warm water to make it thicker then I use a warm/hot flannel over my face to open the pores and to gently rub it off, then I rinse it off with warm water. Finally I splash cold water on my face. I don't use any other MD Formulation products anymore. People with sensitive skin will find this will irritate their skin.
Initially I had trouble with this product. After searching on YouTube how to apply bb cream I found out the technique can make a difference. I found the colour blends in well. It does not last all day with me, if I apply a bit of powder after the cream sets on my face it lasts a bit longer. It does take a long time to set. I have had a few breakouts however I didn't give up on this product...really difficult to explain but in the long run my skin has cleared up. The breakouts may be an odd one here and there but my actual acne has started to clear up. I have used it under foundation, looks flawless for a couple of hours then turns cakey so don't do that! Wear moisturiser underneath or it will highlight dry patches. Don't wear primer. Use fingers. Brushes will just soak it up and looks bad in general. I have a love-hate relationship. As it is clearing up my acne I will use it until it runs out but will most probably try a different bb cream after. I was hoping for miracles but didn't happen.
For me, this is a luxury product. I don't need it but I do love it. Important for me is that it lasts a long time, 400ml has lasted me more than 6 months and I still have 25% left. It doesn't dry my skin as it's alcohol free. Another really important aspect is that it removes any make up that hasn't been rinsed off properly after cleansing.

There's not much to say other than it works! What I love about it is that it doesn't irritate my eyes and the skin arount it. Sometimes I have to go over my eyes twice but it doesn't sting. If you don't have sensitive eyes then there are cheaper products out there for you. It's honestly worth it if you have sensitive eyes. Don't forget to shake before use.
