PROS:a seriously creamy long lasting very pigmented lipstick. it so creamy and soft that it spreads like butter on the lips! quite long lasting - when i tested the shades on my hand, i had a hard time rubbing them off with the YSL makeup remover. after dinner, it looked like i still had red lips (abit faded) kinda works like a stain too. lovely mirror top to help with lipstick application and checking of teeth! supposedly hydrating lipstick - so far havent felt it drying but been wearing only couple hours - will update.
CONS: expensive!!!! well since its so pigmented am guessing its gonna take along time to finish using the tube - ie less makeup shopping! colour is very staturated - easy to over apply (actually have to dab the colour on cos spreading it gives full on colour which i personally find too heavy looking)

#11 - hot rose pink kinda like a fuchsia
#12 - deep wine/burgendy shade
#16 - orangey red
#17 - red - less damatic/red than #18
#18 - a pure red - kinda like the red lips snow white had. gorgeous!
PACKAGING: woah...i thought guerlain's kiss kiss was the cake but baby this is pure beauty!!the mirror on the top is perhaps not as classy as one might expect but the lovely design in the middle of the lippie is too die for!!

ETA (290908): been playing with this lipstick & i found that its full on coverage - really super duper saturated colour so my red (#18) will most likely be used for night time. but i really really like how easily it goes on lips & its quite lightweight too. Did i mention it smells like mangos and i detect slight taste of mangos when i lick my lips.

a sa badgered me to try this item. said its inbetween a beauty item and skincare item. supposed you can replace your moisturiser with this and put foundation straight on top. helps one use less foundation. she applied some on my hand (thank god for that!!) it just started stinging my hand!! turn slightly red too!! i would advice sensitive skin gals to test before buying!!
apparently this works like a primer and makes your skin gorgeous!! honestly it felt thick on my skin and felt very silcony feeling...plus i so din like the stinging feeling!

ermm...this was suppose to add hydration and be gentle on my sensitive skin...but it was alright for the first half of the bottle...din notice much hydration though...when i started using it after that, my skin would turn all RED and i could feel it burning!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i stopp using it and my skin is fine again but whenever i start this again, i get the burning sensation and red skin again...dumped it into the trash can.
same thing happened for the gel-cream cleanser too - dont seem to have much luck with chanel skincare.

PROS: oh god! where to start?? most importantly, its super duper long lasting - better than my JC!! colour doesnt fade (in fact it looks deeper/darker than what i had in the morning if thats possible). no nasty scraping needed to get the product like the JC (although it could be its new). oh! according to the sa, those silvery/goldish bits run all the way down the blush (so its not some overlay that disappears). not as sheer as some of my JC (only need to load my brush once anything more than twice looks overdone), feels really soft and no rose smell.
CONS: Aside from the price its GBP29 (in UK!), its got glitters in it(microglitters and amount of glitter is sparse)...now ever since someone starred really hard at me and exclaimed out loud in class (years ago) that I was wearing glitter on my face (i wasnt it was anna sui face powder!), i dont like people staring at me, so anything with glitter gets booted to the night/party use. which is a shame because something as beautiful as this shade should diserved to be used 24/7!! (but then again am sure alot of others wont mind the glitter - am just being anal!). the sa was gushing over this -"kinda like owing a piece of classic chanel tweed jacket" ermmm...maybe my eyes are crap but it doesnt look anything like a tweed jacket to me.
SHADES: available in 4 shades
- Tweed Pink - pale pink laced with silvery shimmers and sliver glitter
- Tweed Rose - rose shade with goldish shimmers and silver glitter
- Tweed Coral - ohh peachy with tinge of red with shimmers and i think gold glitter
- Tweed Amber - reddish brown - wasnt interested in this.
PACKAGING: Classic chanel black case. same size as JC blush casing. Brush provided is bigger than the JC brush. brush is usable for say short travels but its kinda prickly.
Was comparing this with some of the JC cos i didnt want to double up...but quite seriously, when swatching on the hand, theres just something different colourwise - kinda like an added dimension to the colours BUT i am not too sure if the difference is really noticeable when applied on the cheeks.
ETA (290908): ahhh crap! i think i am so in love with this tweed rose - been using it for the past 5 days straight!! no longer bothered about the staring (especially since its guys checking me out! & i did make sure that it wasnt because i had lipstick on my cheeks!) am thinking i will defintedly be picking up tweed pink and tweed coral! am still leaving it as 4 stars cos its damn expensive!!

Bought this for a trip to Hong Kong in the summer...the sun was super duper hot plus a typhon was nearing HK thus the weather was baking hot!
i applied this before venturing outside...less than 2 hours later, i felt my arms burning...plus they had all turn pink!! once i reapplied...it kinda stopped being pink and burning...but my face was really horrid!!!!! cos of the heat, there was major sweating (t-shirt was thoroughly soaked) & when i tried to wipe my face, my fingers came away with little bits and pieces of WHITE!!!!!!!! it definitedly wasnt sweat proof so even though i reapplied, my face turned tomatoe red and burnt. my cheeks had dried patches that flaked and peeled after 2 days of using this...am not sure its its too dry for my skin or because my skin had been burnt.
texturewise - very creamy texture...sure didnt feel light weight at all. was really worried of suffering from breakouts. my brother who was using this as well actually experienced breakouts!

I love the look of this bottle...this fragrance would suit someone chic and sphisticated...an unstated classy fragrance...it smelt floral when i first spritz this...hours late it somehow smells like a fragrance i used previously...however this made me feel naueous and i keep feel like fainting!! interesting i usually break out in hives or have migraines or sneezing fits...nothing that makes me want to faint though!!

Packaging: comes in a tube with slanted tip for application. 6 shades available and surprisingly these glosses are pretty pigmented! pity about the prices! 20 pounds per tube.
Verdict: sa told me it will help pump up lips too but i have no idea about the boosting effect cos i din notice any n strangely i dont notice any tingly feel on the lips (unlike pout lip plump & duwop's venom) but it did have peppermint in it so it smelt nice & fresh (bonus!). no noticeable taste (bonus!).

LE xmas 2007. this was the other item i was debating when i wanted to purchase her planner. i ended up purchasing the power of makeup tools (see other review). the brushes are different from the other (and i wanted the 2 face blender brushes in the other set). brushes felt soft but had the same problem of the labelling coming off.
the only plus point is the deluxe charger included in this (however, i notice saks doesnt seem to have included this) but this doesnt have a clip on so you cant use the planner insert pages for this. i decided to go for the power of tools set cos i could remove the brush pouch and still slot in a deluxe charger so i would get more use out of the other set. quilting was also unreveling like my other set.

i grab this tube once when boots was having its promotion cos i went to the third boots n my usual normal norwegian hand cream was oos! it boasts twice stronger nails, soften cuticles & soft smooth hands with a non greasy texture.
not too sure about the twice stronger nails esp since i use np & do the whole base coat with harderns thingy & it hasnt cracked at all this winter...could be this cream though...wasnt using this last year...major splits n crack back then. soft smooth hand - yes helps when the skin itches n turns all red too (like the usual cream).
texturewise this is much more creamier hence more spreadable than the concentrated hand cream. absorbs just as easily too.
comes in 75ml tube.

I love this...especially the mini concentrated versions! i have small tubes lying around the house n in my different bags cos sometimes the back of my hand starts to itch like crazy and i just slap this one & it relieves the itchness straight away!!works very well at healing chapped, cracked, tearing skin but its actually quite expensive! GBP2 for a 15ml tube, GBP5 for the bigger one...its a staple but i stock up when boots has a promotion (but the shelves are usually empty at this time too...)

My 40ml tube is called Foot Cream for damaged and cracked skin (intensive repair). it boasts to intensely moisturise & relieves. Visible results from the first day.
all i can say...its boast isnt a boast! i actually do see a difference after one application!! am totally lazy with my feet...especially during winter when i wear thermal fleece socks with tracking boots! so it gets really bad...all i have to do is use this & without scrubbing with a heel pumice...i get results within the week. you could off course get faster results but i did say i was lazy!! no detectable fragrance...its non sticky n absorbs easily. my staple & must buy.i stock up on these when boots has a discount.

lovely mascara that didnt smudge at all! yah! finally a mascara that doesnt smudge...wouldnt say it retain a curl but it did gave a lift to my lashes...wish it would give a bit more volume. but i got a really natural defined look. am a little worried about constantly splashing hot water on the eyes to get rid of the mascara considering that the eye area is very delicate...
want to test this out for the hotter weather cos i remembered trying another brand previously that could be removed with hot water n it simply melted off my lashes in the heat.will update

ermm...packaging is horrid...if the whole tube is a single gold shade it would great...the mascara formulae is great...it made my lashes look thick!! i so totally love it and it kept the curls the curler gave my asian straight pointed lashes BUT it smudged!! am trying to see if it would work with clarins fix mascara or something...
ETA (2802): been testing it out with clarins fix...doesnt seem to work...seems to have made it worse. if i apply powder all over eye, lashes n under the eye...i tend to get a bit more wear...enf for a night out to dinner...nothing that makes me sweat! BUT i think i am getting allegies to this...maybe its the fragrance...its kinda making up eyes tense up...so sad. but the effect it gives asian "non existence" lashes is really fantastic!
