I'm really impressed with this product! I use the shampoo & conditioner together and I'm loving it so far. I was iffy about the conditioner because it seemed too runny, but it works great anyway. I noticed my hair was so smooth during and after my shower, and it dried so soft! Also, I have wavy hair that tends to turn into ugly, puffy waves when it's unhealthy. As soon as I used this my waves looked nice without any styling! So it must have made my hair healthy. I see the difference :)
I got this in light natural brown. I was going from blonde to brown. While I dyed it, the color was grape juice purple, which is weird. But the color came out as a very light brown - my dirty blonde hair was still showing through a bit. In bright light or the sun, it still seemed pretty blonde. And my hair was still feeling healthy. It was a nice color though, if it had taken away the blonde, it would have been great. After about a week, my hair was fading and i was already wanting to dye it again. So overall this dye is ok. Nothing special but not horrible.
Shampoo -Clairol - Herbal Essences Hello Hydration Moisturizing Shampoo

I go back to this shampoo a lot. First, I'm not very picky with shampoo. So my opinion on it is that it is great. It is moisturizing, as it says on the bottle. It smells amazing, and cleans my hair well. In general I like Herbal Essences. I know that a lot of people don't - but if you do then try hello hydration out. (:
Styling Products -Beyond The Zone - Turn Up the Heat
nsnhearts13 8/9/2010 8:37:00 PM
I got this because I needed a new heat protectant FAST and Sally's is really close to me. I really don't like this. The smell is really nice - until it gets all in the air when you spray it. The scent just gets sickening, it is very sweet. The bottle sprays the product out everywhere, which is a bad thing when it is getting in your face. This stuff also made my hair greasy looking. Even if I don't spray it at the roots, my hair gets nasty oily. I don't like this. Who knows if it even protects hair.
Well I adore OPI but this isn't their best polish. The color is absolutely gorgeous and the name is cute, but my issue is that it is pretty sheer. Nothing annoys me more than after 3 coats of polish, you can still see my nail behind it. That is what happens with this one. You can see the white parts of my nail with this over it. It takes too many coats. Still...the color is so pretty. So it gets a 3/5.
Eye Shadow -NYX - 10 Color Palette - Champagne & Caviar
nsnhearts13 7/28/2010 1:04:00 AM
One of my favorite neutral look palettes! I really recommend this for beginners because you will get all your basic colors. During the school year, i always reached for this palette and it never lets me down. You can create many beautiful looks with this, and quickly too. The shadows blend and work together nicely, the pigmentation is not AMAZING but it is pretty great! Another pro is that the shadows are really soft. I would say they are comparable to MAC eye shadows. Yet this is much more affordable.
Hair Styling Tools -Unlisted Brand - Solia Ceramic Ion Flat Iron
nsnhearts13 7/28/2010 12:57:00 AM
Oh my gosh I love this flat iron. I used to have a CHI but this is much better. When I run it through my hair, it goes very smoothly. It keeps my hair straight all day, with no annoying flips. It gets it very straight! It doesn't make your hair as silky as the CHI does, yet there are products for that anyway. To keep this short: if you are looking this flat iron, go for it! (:
So I pretty much wanted a Revlon polish because there is just something about the packaging that I adore. I think maybe it is how simple & classy it looks. So I was looking for a nice red and picked this up. I am pretty surprised, I didn't think it would be very good. With a good, topcoat like Seche Vite Dry Fast, this stuff is really nice. VERY Opaque, one coat does the job but I like 2 to make it perfect. Not streaky at all. It won't chip fast with a nice topcoat and basecoat. The only downfall is I found it to have weird bumps but again were smoothed over with my topcoat. I recommend this if you want a nice red but can't afford the high end brands or don't want to spend too much. Just make sure you have a good topcoat.
I'm not really one for green nail polish, but this is such a pretty, unique color. It has the usual amazing OPI formula - goes on easy and smooth, lasts a long time without chips. I recommend this if you want a color people will notice :)
If your looking for a good, easy to work with white polish, THIS IS NOT THE ONE. The first coat, it is so streaky and sticky. I swipe the brush off my nail and it trails a goopy line of polish. It is a nice white after 3-4 coats, but it takes too long to dry and is hard to work with. I wish I hadn't bought it.
Pressed Powders -Maybelline - Dream Matte Pressed Powder
nsnhearts13 7/10/2010 12:59:00 PM
I like this powder, it isn't the most amazing one out there, but I really do like it. Alot of drugstore powders break me out or dry out my skin, but this powder actually doesn't. It gives a nice matte finish without looking unnatural. My only issue is I wish it gave a little more coverage. Still, it is good and I recommend it.
Concealers -Maybelline - Dream Mousse Concealer [DISCONTINUED]
nsnhearts13 7/10/2010 12:54:00 PM
I love this concealer! I watch Youtube gurus, and I have seen positive reviews on this and hype about it. I wasn't really expecting it to be THAT good. But it is amazing for under eye dark circles. It covers them up really well without looking fake or cakey. I always look so awake with this concealer, and i don't always sleep that well so it is great. It also covers up my blemishes well and still looks natural. I'm pretty young so I don't like alot of make up , but this concealer and a powder over it makes my skin flawless. A drugstore win :)
I really adore this nail polish color. It is such a gorgeous blue, I have had so many compliments on it and people asking for the name of it. If I had to pick a favorite nail polish from my collection I would choose this one. It looks really good with a white design on it as well. :) China Glaze nail polish is a really good brand, it stays on for a good amount of time and applies nicely. I recommend getting this, it is worth it!
Hair Styling Tools -Farouk CHI - Chi Ceramic Flat Iron by Farouk

I have went through 2 of these straighteners. I got mine last summer after watching youtubers rave over this flat iron. The first time I used this, I was thrilled. I had gone from a crappy Revlon to this amazing flat iron. It made my hair pin straight, was quick to heat up and straighten my hair, and it made it shiny with no frizz. It was honestly the perfect iron. Then around Christmas 09, the same year, one day my CHI didn't turn on no matter what so i got a new CHI hoping mine was just defective. Again, the CHI amazed me, it worked perfectly on my thin but hard to straighten, really layered hair. Then this year in Feb. the light on my CHI never blinked and it did not get as hot, adding another ten minutes on the time it took to straighten my hair. So now I am stuck with 2 broken CHI straighteners. Basically, the CHI is amazing but it does not last. Keep in mind I took very good care of my iron, I have never dropped it or anything. If you want a really good straightener and are willing to risk it breaking, then I guess you should get this one. But if you want one that will last you, then you might not want to risk spending $$ on this.
