Lotions/ Creams -The Body Shop - Spa Wisdom On a high Hydrating Puree

I live in a climate where it's over a 100 degrees in the summer & and close to freezing in the winter. This lotion simply doesn't do the trick for me. It goes on with a lovely silky feel, but dries on a little bit too dry. About 10 minutes after using it, I don't feel like I've actually moisturized my skin... and generally find myself reaching for something else. The smell is nice, but I can see it being a bit too "rosy" for some people.

Wow… I can’t believe all the so-so reviews! This lotion is absolutely my HG & I’m on my 3rd bottle! I recently attended an uber *itchfest (you know the type… where over 150 women gather supposedly for one purpose but actually spend most of their time sitting around & scrutinizing everyone else in the room for their hair, clothes, makeup, etc.)… I had to attend because I was working there. Wore a tank top & jeans, which I'm sure didn't go over well with the "attendees". Surprisingly, 3 strangers came up to me & asked what I used (on my arms & shoulders) to make my skin glow! LOL! If you’re interested in a heavy lotion that will take care of severely dry, damaged skin, this isn’t for you. But if you’re interested in something that goes on ultra-light & leaves your skin silky smooth and glowing, then give this a try!

Treatments -L'Oreal - Wrinkle Decrease Collagen Filler

I used this religiously for two weeks straight and DID notice a difference in my laugh lines. However, you have to bear in mind the product is not a permanent solution & will only work for plumping up fine lines (not deep wrinkles). As their website says, it's only meant to "diffuse, smooth and soften" the lines - can't expect long-term miracles (unfortunately). I used it mostly at night, so didn't have any issues with applying foundation, powder, etc.

Okay ladies, here's the scoop... I've been waiting to report on this one since I wanted to let at least a month go by since I started using it. Okay, I'll be honest - I'm cheating... it's been less than 4 weeks. But here goes: I think just like anything else (skin, hair, etc) eyelashes are a product of genetics, environment & how much you abuse them. So everyone's results are gonna be different. I'm not sure this product has made my eyelashes grow at a faster pace, but I do think it has allowed the ones that would have fallen off by now to become stronger & longer (basically the existing ones haven't fallen off & because they are getting longer while the others grow in at a "normal pace", it just looks like there's a lot more there). At least that's been my experience. The reason I gave this 5 lippies is because I have really flat eyebrows (in a straight line) and I've been using this product every night to gradually shape them into a nice arch. It's working!! So, for my eyelashes I'd actually give this a 4, but for my brow area, a definite 5. If you want to reshape your eyebrows (or make them thicker), try this!

Concealers -Prescriptives - Camouflage Cream

I bought this 3 years ago for my wedding day, since I wanted to have "flawless skin" for the photographs. Sure enough, a number of people told me how great my complexion looked. There was no greasiness, creasing, etc. etc. Held up very well under stressful conditions! My sister even emailed my six months later to ask what concealer I had used (that's the kind of lasting impression this stuff made!) Great product, tube being a smart idea. A little will go a long way, especially since a small amount give you a great deal of coverage. Just be sure to get the right color/tone for your skin. I'm a tan/olive skin tone & use Yellow/Orange dark. PS: For those of you wondering about the darker shades, I just moved overseas (from the US to Asia) and discovered that the range of colors/tones here is different than those offered in the States.
