Fragrances -Victoria's Secret - Sexy Little Things Noir Tease

This is one of my favorite scents...sweet and sexy but not overpowering, just right. I've had a lot of people ask me what I was wearing when I have this on. Really a nice scent. Would definitely repurchase.
Cleansers -Simple - Kind to Skin Refreshing Wash Gel
np_7 3/21/2013 4:02:00 PM
I'm on my second bottle of this, so I've been using it for a while. This is a very basic, no frills cleanser that does the job. It doesn't lather much but that's ok. I have very oily skin and this cleanses the oil off my face every morning without making it dry or flaky. I've used other cleansers that claim to be gentle but they ultimately dried out my skin and made it feel tight. This is my go to daily morning cleanser at the moment.
Eyeliner -Revlon - Colorstay eyeliner in Blackberry
np_7 11/13/2012 6:57:00 AM
This is a very nice drugstore eyeliner. It definitely has long staying power, and that's saying a lot because I really have oily lids and most eyeliners smudge in a few hours on me. This one doesn't, so I don't end up with racoon eyes. The color blackberry is also very pretty, it compliments my dark brown eyes well. Would definitely repurchase.
Moisturizers -Clinique - Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel

Well, compared to the lotion version, this definitely is a lot less greasy. I find that it sinks in better on my skin. It makes my skin look smooth and silky, probably because of the silicones. But I think this doesn't provide my skin with enough hydration. Not really sure if I'll repurchase.
Moisturizers -Clinique - Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion

Way too greasy for me. It just sits on the surface of my skin and doesn't get absorbed at all. It made me too oily and shiny. But in fairness, I've tried using this when my skin was dry and flaky. Maybe that's why it didn't really absorb into my skin. The gel version is better but not enough hydration.
Lip Treatments -Palmers - Cocoa Butter Dark Chocolate & Peppermint Lip Butter
np_7 2/28/2011 1:09:00 AM
Yummy! I can eat this thing up...hehe! This smells like choco-mint which is exactly what it is but with petrolatum (like vaseline) and vit E. It moisturizes my lips very well. I like it as much as my lemon lip cream from C.O. Bigelow. When my lips get really dry and flakey, lip creams like this make them look smoother and a lot more presentable!
This does a good job at "refreshing" your hair, getting rid of the oil build-up. When you spray it on, it turns into white powder on your hair, so you have to brush it off. It should work on all hair color bec the powdery residue easily comes off anyway. I have dark hair and I have no problem with it. It smells fresh and powdery. Great to have around to liven up limp hair.
Shampoo -Unlisted Brand - Salon Grafix Invisible Dry Spray Shampoo
np_7 2/21/2011 3:10:00 AM
I don't like this too much, the batiste dry shampoo was better. The main reason I wanted to try this was bec I've heard that this doesn't leave a powdery white residue (unlike the batiste one). This doesn't make your hair look like you just poured baby powder on it but the smell is too strong. It smells like hairspray and it looks like you put some hairspray on your hair, too. It doesn't get rid of the oil as good as the batiste. I think I'll just use this up and go back to batiste even though I had to brush off the powdery residue, at least it gets rid of the oil and smells much fresher. (Hmm...it looks like the SG brunette dry shampoo has better ratings so maybe it's better? Might try their other version then)
I love this lip cream! Creams usually work better for me than those waxy balms. This is very moisturizing, plus the hint of lemon just smells and feels good on dry lips. It's shiny so it seems like you're wearing some lip gloss. I use lip creams on nights that I feel dry and I wake up with nice, plump, smooth and sumptuous lips. Love it!
Mascara -Estee Lauder - Double Wear Zero Smudge Lengthening Mascara
np_7 2/20/2011 1:30:00 AM
This is a great mascara. It gives some volume and it really does make your lashes appear longer. Good staying power, although after a while this makes my lashes clump together and that is not a pretty look at all.
Eyeliner -Maybelline - Cool Effects eyeliner in Midnight Chill
np_7 2/20/2011 1:21:00 AM
This product is just okay, nothing great about it. It's quite pigmented and soft so it's nice to put on without having to worry about tugging your eyelid skin. But it gets kind of messy and I don't think it has great staying power on my oily lids. It gets easily smudged, it looks like you hurried up on putting your makeup.
I was kind of disappointed about this product. I got this bec of all the great reviews here on MUA plus I was looking for a matte lip balm. This wasn't exactly matte, but doesn't give a lot of shine like most balms do either. Also, this lip balm isn't very moisturizing for me. I feel like it just sits on the surface of my lips, plus the tingly feeling whenever I put it on (I think it's the menthol that's doing it) is not exactly pleasant. I think it's actually irritating my lips a bit...I got 2 of this thinking it would be my everyday lip balm but will most likely not repurchase.
I love this lash curler! I bought this in Sephora a while back, they don't carry it anymore but you can still buy it on the shu uemura site. Gives my eye lashes a nice curl...I don't use it too often bec I don' t want too much trauma to my lashes. :) Sometimes I even skip mascara when I use this bec. it really wakes my eyes up.
This worked good in the beginning, I don't think it dried my skin out. I find this definitely less drying than J&J's Purpose wash. But recently it's been making me feel dry (maybe bec it's winter?) Anyway, this cleanser cleans very well, takes most m/u off and smells fresh. I still use it occasionally, I'm not using it too often now bec I've been getting dry from it.
I love Ecotools brushes! Thanks to MUA, I've learned about this brand's existence. LOL. Otherwise, I would most likely not even take a second look at Ecotools in the stores (I don't know, the yellow wooden handle just doesn't appeal to me as much as black/silver brush handles, but that's another story) What's important are the bristles. This brush is absolutely soft! It doesn't prick and scratch your face at all. I also have the powder brush and it's just as soft. I actually use this blush brush to put my powder foundation as well as blush (if I even feel like it...hehe not really a blush person here) This brush doesn't shed at all and it has stayed as soft as feathers since the day I bought it! I've washed this several times and it's still the same. Will definitely repurchase when it gets worn out which I believe would take several years bec. it's really very durable!
