I've been using this foundation in Ivory, Combo/Oily for months now. It's the best drugstore foundation I've ever used. I could never drop $50 on a foundation, so I don't know how it compares to really high-end stuff. This is a full-coverage foundation, something I personally need as my skin is very sensitive and acne-prone (and therefore I have a LOT of acne and scars). It can be used as a concealer as well. As far as I can tell, this foundation really doesn't break me out, and it lasts a long time. My face can be very oily when I'm working, and I find I do have to blot up oil after about four hours, and that dusting on pressed powder instead of blotting makes me look like I'm wearing a mask. Sometimes my face becomes oily enough that this foundation will start to slide, but it's still more or less okay if no one looks at me too closely and I blot up the worst of the oil. This foundation can look very natural, if you know how to apply blush and eye color well enough after you've put the foundation on and whited everything out. Personally, I think that patting this on with a damp sponge gives the most natural appearance. It dries fast, so you can't just smear it on your face and blend, you've got to pat. Colorstay saved my freakin' life. My face looked absolutely awful for a while (hormones and stress made me break out very, very badly) and if I went in public without makeup on, people would literally stare at me. It made me feel like a leper, and all of the drugstore foundations I had tried came off after a few hours and most didn't match my coloring. I felt as though I couldn't even go anywhere because I felt so bad about the way I looked and could see no solution. I'm extremely glad I discovered this foundation. It's not the best one ever, but it's certainly the best drugstore one.

Mascara -Neutrogena - Healthy Volume Waterproof

I'm going to add photos to illustrate just how waterproof this product is. I have fine, medium length, naturally curled lashes and mostly I just want some natural-looking volume and just a bit of length from my mascara. And since it's about to be summer, I wanted something I could go swimming in. I paid about $8 for this at Ulta, which is on the cheap end for mascaras there. It thickens nice and gradually, so I don't end up with those thick, clumpy lashes so many girls seem to covet. The bristles on the brush are good for getting out clumps (but it still helps to have a clean wand to brush them through), but the wand itself is pretty big. It's not a huge deal, it just makes getting into corners and getting the lower lashes kind of tricky. Still, it gives natural-looking lashes with a lot of thickness and a decent amount of length, and I love it. This mascara is extremely waterproof. I put it on, waited 15 minutes, and then got in the shower for ten minutes, letting the water hit my closed eyes as much as possible. I got out and my lashes still looked perfect, they only smeared slightly when I rigorously rubbed my eye as though it was extremely itchy (and even then, the smearing was minimal). Getting this off is a battle -- makeup remover doesn't seem to work. Using a cotton ball with baby oil does the trick, though I have to flush out my eyes after since the oil inevitably gets in them. Taking this mascara off gave my lashes a bit of a beating and I lost a few of them. Overall: Great, natural-looking mascara, virtually impossible to smudge, but getting it off is difficult and a little rough on the lashes. I wouldn't use this everyday just because removing it is such a hassle.
