Scrubs -GLAMGLOW - Mud Mask

I originally saw this on "A Model Recommends" website, who is in fact a model, and is very knowledgable on skin products, as that's her industry. I've come to trust many of her recommendations, GlamGlow being one of them. It didn't hurt that I found it at TJ Maxx for $29. Quite frankly, I don't know if I would have paid $70 blindly, without reading any reviews/recommendations. My first thought after I spread this on my face was "it burns! it burns!" Very melodramatic. However, after the first minute or two, it stopped burning and started drying with a rather nice cooling affect. The grainy-ness of the volcanic stone was noticeable when I was washing the mask off, but I consider that a benefit, as it is also labeled an exfoliant. The results? AMAZING. I have paid good money in the past for products that while might have had all the right ingredients, didn't have the right ingredients for MY skin. This product not only made my skin feel good, there was a noticeably instant radiant, supple and tight effect. The noticeable results lasted for about two days, with some benefits lingering for 4-5. The results from one application did more good to my skin than some facials I've had in the past. If you're on the fence, my advice is to try to get a sample, or buy on discount somewhere, but definitely try it at least once! Will definitely repurchase.

Skincare - Face -Eve Lom - travel bag

I am a huge fan of the Eve Lom Cleanser, and after finishing the 100ml tub wanted to try some of the other products from the line. The travel kit was great in theory. A bit of several different products, travel friendly, pretty packaging and a pretty bag to store makeup after everything is used up. I was really disappointed, however, when after opening the package, had the zipper tab break off in my hand while trying to unzip the bag for the very first time. Not very well made. In fact, very cheaply made. I still had hope for the other products. How, I wondered, could the wonderful people who made the magic, miracle cleanser go wrong with any of their products? Oh, they could. The morning cleanser doesn't feel half as nice as the original. It left a film on my skin and made me break out like a fifteen year old hormone ridden teenager. The TLC moisturizer was sub par and the rescue mask I was decent but nothing to rave about. The bag with the broken tab felt like a nylon/plastic material and the only saving graze was their original cleanser, which I will be repurchasing. Overall, a good idea if you want to try more of their products, but a fail for my skin.

Cleansers -Eve Lom - Cleanser

An amazing cleanser that doesn't leave the skin tight. Melts away every last bit of makeup in whatever form it may appear. Creams, powders, gels, waterproof colors, all gone with one application. Feels extremely luxurious and the process is calming and almost spa-like. I would highly recommend the product not only for the quality, but also for the experience and result. It has significantly changed the texture of my skin for the better. I have a noticeable reduction in pores and overall my skin looks more supple, softer and smoother.
