Lipstick -MAC - Forever Young

Forever Young is from the Diana Ross Icon collection. The color is a cool red, which is a little hard for me to describe. Visual inspection makes me think of MAC's Capricious luster l/s. Forever Young acts just like a luster, gone in a flash after you apply it. The color comes out brighter red than I thought it would. I won't buy it again since it's LE and the color is just weird enough that sometimes I'm not sure what it would go well with. Give it a shot if you are cool toned, but this may not work for everyone.

Lip Gloss -MAC - Sweet Inspiration

To me, Sweet Inspiration from the Diana Ross Collection is the matte version of Fine N Dandy's Hearthrob l/g which is a cool pink w/ shimmer. Sweet Inspiration is a cool pink l/g with tons of shine but no sparkle. I love it, the undertones are blue enough for a cool PPP like me, and I can work the look.

Lip Gloss -MAC - Nymphette lipglass

Nymphette, love the name, color is not for me. The color is a warm pink with peach and gold undertones. I think most warm toned gals love this color but I'm a cool PPP and I just can't wear it. Makes my lips look yellow and doesn't have enough blue undertones to work the look. Oh well, another one sitting in my drawer.

Lip Gloss -MAC - c-thru lipglass

C-thru is a warm nude lipglass color. I'm a cool PPP and I use it with LustDust l/s. On me, it tends to look like I erased the lips off my face. I think if it were one shade cooler, I could wear it more often. I like it but will prolly never use it all up.

Fever is now d/c'ed, but I just found it and it tickles my fancy. It has purple undertones, but what caught my eye was it's brick red hue. It is a perfect brick red color for cool toned peeps. One must use a light hand, b/c this is highly pigmented. I don't wear it every day, but it's a fun color. I'm an N4 PPP.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Coppering (veluxe pearl)

Coppering is a Veluxe Pearl. Love the texture, the color is not right for me at all. I wore it alone thinking it would be similar to Amber Lights. One look in the mirror at work, and I realized my mirror at home lies. It looked like a took a red marker and colored in my eyelids. I packed this up & sent it to my mom, who might be able to wear this travesty of color. Btw, I'm an N4 PPP w/ brn hair & eyes.

Blush -MAC - Mineralize Skinfinish - Porcelain Pink

I'm an N4 PPP and this SkinFinish makes my pores look huge and makes my cheeks, nose and jawline look oily and greasy. I just don't think it's meant for peeps with oily skin and large pores. Would not purchase anything this light again, the darker shades work much better.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Pro Pigment - White Gold

I think pigments in general are overhyped and I don't think they have a lot of staying power. That being said, I fell for this color.....and loved it! It starts off as a lovely frosty white, and the split second you apply it, out pops the lovely light green sparkles that eluded your eyes in the jar. It makes me smile. It's a very wintery and wearable piggy.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Veluxe Llama

What can I say about Llama? It's white, more neutral or warm rather than cool. It has a velvety texture which makes it super blendable. I use this as a hilighter and I love it. I love this texture above any other because it doesn't feel like I'm dragging chunky glitter over my eyelid. It is smooth and silky, like a wee baby llama. Now don't spit.......

Eye Shadow -MAC - Star Violet (Veluxe pearl)

Since this is a Veluxe Pearl, I can hardly say no to this e/s. The color appears to be a plummy/burgundy/shimmery/kinda brown color. More burgundy than anything when I wear it. Very blendable, but not a totally thrilling color.

I really heart this color. Some say it's comparable to Steamy, but I say no way. This is a veluxe pearl e/s, is very blendable and the color is indescribably beautiful. The shimmer in this green is almost holographic, the color is comparable to the green in a peacock tail feather. It is not for the meek, this color. It is bright and vivid, somewhat like when a dewdrop falls on an emerald and gives it dimension.

Eye Shadow -MAC - Prismique (Lustre)

Say what you will about Lustres, but I really like this e/s. This is from the Adorn collection, and it reminds me of White Gold pigment without the green. I use this as a hilighter and also as a wash with Peacocky glitter liner. Very frosty white shimmer, very blendable and it lasts as a hilighter. I like it!

It's very hard to describe this green without saying basic things like smokey dark olive green. There is no shimmer, this is a veluxe e/s. The combination of olive green and charcoal makes it versatile as a liner as well. I use it as a liner when I wear yellow and pink e/s. It is very smooth and blendable.

Beautiful Iris is a lovely lavender with pearl shimmer. I would say it's two shades darker than Idol Eyes with much less shimmer. It pack well and blends like a dream. I have medium shade brown eyes and this color lavendar looks very good on me. The blendability is key to making this shade a success. Gotta love it.

This is a pink with yellow undertones. I am a PPP w/ brown hair and eyes and it really doesn't show up on me at all. Most people have commented that it's good for cool tones but I think it might look better on warmer toned people. I hate having to dig it all up and pack it on just to get it to show up. Prolly wouldn't buy it again.
