The best liquid liner I've ever used -- and I've tried many. I stays on forever and it's the first one with a decent applicator.
Mascara -Maybelline - Great Lash Mascara Blackest Black

Not sure why this mascara is so popular, because I think it's pretty terrible. The wand sucks and it always looks really clumpy on me.
I always love Maybelline's packaging and end up impulse-buying their mascara more than I should, but this one was actually a surprising success. The wand is curved, which makes it easier to apply the mascara over your entire lash, and I get almost the same definition that I got with the define-a-lash (which is still my favorite). Overall a decent choice, and if I can't find the define-a-lash I'd definitely buy this one again.
I was seduced by Maybelline's awesome packaging, but this was hugely disappointing. The want clumps my lashes and doesn't do much for the volume. Definitely a mistake as far as impulse-buys go.
This is hands-down the best drugstore mascara I've ever used. I actually got complimented when I went into sephora by one of the salesgirls, and it was kind of awkward to tell her it was drugstore mascara haha. It made my lashes super long without any clumps whatsoever. I think it might have been discontinued, because I can't find it anymore, but I always check. The only downside is that it doesn't last very long, but no less so than other drugstore brand mascaras.
Hair -Kinky Curly - Knot Today leave-in conditioner

Smells fantastic, and makes it easy to brush hair straight out of the shower. I've been buying it for about 3 years now. I always use it in conjunction with other styling products so it's hard to say how much it does on its own, but I'd definitely recommend it. I have super frizzy/curly medium-length hair.
This product was unexpectedly AMAZING, and has now become my go-to brown eyeliner (I have it in umber). I work 12-hour shifts and it lasts literally the entire time without smudging or running. I have got to find it in a charcoal/black/gray!
Concealers -BeneFit Cosmetics - Erase Paste #2 Medium

Fantastic under-eye concealer. I wouldn't necessarily use it for spot correction but the brightening pigment and the heavy application work perfectly for concealing dark bags under my eyes and generally making me look like an awake, functional human being when I have no business doing so. I use the #2 when I'm pale in the winter and #3 in the summer when i'm tanner, and so far this range has worked out nicely for me. Would definitely recommend.
Felt compelled to buy a Naked palette finally because of all the hype, and while I wasn't disappointed per se, I'm not entirely sure it lives up to its reputation. Yes, it's a great selection of neutral colors, but as far as application goes, they don't go on as dark as I'd like and it's hard for play around with anything more dramatic than an everyday look with the limited and similar range of colors they give. Also, the brush it comes with isn't ideal for blending. However, overall, it's great for every day and I definitely use it frequently -- my only issue is with why, exactly, everyone seems so obsessed with it.
It's a good concept, because I always put my liner on the inner rim, but this product has not worked at all for me. I got mine in brown, and it barely shows up, plus has zero staying power. Overall a pointless and expensive failed experiment.
Liquid -BeneFit Cosmetics - "Hello Flawless!" Oxygen Wow
nlvpcohjmis 1/1/2013 1:23:00 PM
I generally love BeneFit products, but this one I'm a little disappointed with. It's a great lightweight concealer, but because my complexion is pretty smooth as-is despite the occasional blemish, it doesn't do too terribly much for me and I sometimes can't even tell if I put any on in the morning (on the bright side, that means it's a good match for my skin tone, right?!) It is exactly a foundation and nothing more -- doesn't cover a lot, and requires another layer of spot concealer for me to really have an effect. Doesn't do much for my under eye circles either, but the pigment is right-on for my skin and it looks natural once it's on.
Eyeliner -Urban Decay - 24-7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in Zero

It's the best black liner I've found so far, but I'm far from perfectly satisfied. It glides on smoothly if sharp enough, but as soon as the pencil starts dulling a little you get nasty little chunks in your bottom lashes and it ends up looking a little sloppy. Also, if you're using it on your waterline, it migrates down to clump into your lower lashes a bit as well. That being said, I continue to buy/use it because I haven't found anything better -- on the upside, it does last a long time.
I love everything about this blush except the price. However, the subtle yet long-lasting pigment makes it worth it -- goes on wonderfully, stays all day, and isn't overwhelming. Great for day-to-night looks as well. And, as always, their packaging design is awesome.
Eyeliner -Clinique - Brush-on cream liner in TRUE BLACK
nlvpcohjmis 1/1/2013 1:14:00 PM
This has become my go-to cream liner. Goes on extremely smoothly (when using a decent brush of course) and lasts forever. What I especially like about Clinique that I haven't found with other liquid or cream liners is that in addition to smooth application, the pigment is wonderful -- deep, matte, and lasts all day without smudging off or dulling.
