It's so divine! I was at the MAC counter today and the MA picked a suitable blush for me, which was Style. This blush brings beautiful warmth and glow to my otherwise pale complexion (I'm MAC NC15). The colour is something between peach and gold with maybe a hint of pink. Style is exquisite and a great complement to my blush collection.
Makeup Brushes -Everyday Minerals - Dome Blush Brush

I find this brush rather difficult to use for applying blush. It's not as precise as I like my blush brushes to be (a good blush brush has an angle imho). So I use it for applying my bronzer and it does a decent job in that. For some reason the bristles in this brush feel slightly thicker than in other make-up brushes from everyday minerals that I have. The overall feel is little different, little coarser and not as soft as the others.
Cleansers -Philosophy - the microdelivery exfoliating wash

Microdelivery wash is nice to use if you don't have the time to do an exfoliating mask. It leaves skin very soft and doesn't dry it out. The odd thing is, when I use this product it always causes a little break out to my left cheek. Due this and because I find the product only little above average, I'm not going to repurchase.
Rose Coup de Foudre is cute and natural looking peach-pink blush. It's very pigmented, but after some time of use the blush hardens up and it's very difficult to get any colour from it anymore. I find that aspect kinda annoying because the colour looks very flattering in my fair skin.
Bronzers -Too Faced - Too Faced Leopard Love Complexion Perfection Kit

The overall pigmentation in this palette is disappointingly sheer, you have to rub your brush into them to get any colour. The candy leopard gives a nice little glowy girly pink flush when applied. Pink leopard is shimmery highlight and quite natural looking. But the peach leopard is the bad apple in this set (at least for me). I just can't get any sort of decent colour out of it. It looks so pretty in the pan, but the pigmentation is non-existent.
Lovely shade of light pink and very natural looking on skin. It's not shimmery at all and leaves almost matte finish. The downside is that the blush has very powdery and crumbly texture.
Highlighters -Guerlain - Meteorites Perles Teint Dore

I love these! The packaging is luxurious and the little pearls are cute inside their little box. I use this like a bronzer and it leaves glowy sunkissed look. More kind of subtle sheen than overly glittery one. When used over a blush, it creates very natural and pretty finish.
Cleansers -Philosophy - Purity Made Simple (Real Purity Cleanser)

I have kinda mixed feelings about this. I use it in the evening for washing off my make-up and I think it makes somewhat decent job. It hasn't dried out my skin, but it hasn't reduced the oiliness eather. It's not very exceptional cleanser or nothing I would rave about. I don't see me buying this again.
Makeup Brushes -MAC - #168 Large Angled Contour Brush
ninara 1/28/2011 3:08:00 PM
This is my go-to blush brush and I use it everyday. It's very easy to apply blush with this because the size and the angle of the brush is just right. It also works great for contouring or even as a foundation brush. It still looks and feels the same as when I got it about two years ago. This brush is very high quality and a great value for your money!
When I first got the large powder brush it felt incredibly soft and dense. After a half year of use it still feels the same, but somewhat coarser and it has started to shed small black bristles every now and then. It also bleeds small amount of black dye while washing. (The brush has bled from the day one I got it and bleeds still after a quite fair amount of usage!) I don't know is it because of small amount dye residue that remains in the bristles after wash or what, but the brush feels irritating against my skin. So I woundn't recommend this brush if you have sensitive skin.
Miserable excuse for a make-up brush. When washing the brush it bleeds black dye like none other and stains the white bristles. After several washes the brush still bleeds. It makes me sad for wasting money for a totally unuseable product.
