This is a lovely rose-based scent that is subtle, and light, and definitely not "old lady" rose smelling. I normally don't like rose pefumes, but for some reason I like this one. It has something fresh about it, and it is not overpowering at all. The staying power is not great however.

Blush -NARS - Luster

This blush is fantastic for my skintone. It looks like nothing in the pan, but when you put it on it is really beautiful and subtle. I have never come across anything like it. It borders on a highlighter, but it does have a peachyness to it that gives a nice touch of natural looking color.

This is a heavy, sophisticated scent. In my teens and twenties I probably would have hated this. However, now that I am forty and have spent many years appreciating fresh, light, citrusy scents, I find myself attracted to this powdery, sexy, wintery scent. It reminds me a little of Shalimar, although I really do not like Shalimar at all. I would put this fragrance in the same category with Opium, and Coco. An evening/winter very sultry, exotic kind of perfume.

A clean, powdery floral. I think it's similar to Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue. Not my kind of scent, but not bad.

Lotions/ Creams -Mario Badescu - Elasto-Seamollient Hand Cream

This cream is wonderful. I have three children, one of whom is still in diapers, so I do a lot of handwashing everyday. By the time winter comes, my hands usually look like those of a very old woman. But with this cream, my hands look and feel great. I no longer have dry patches in between my fingers and wrinkly skin. The cream has a good consistency - not too greasy, but doesn't just disappear either.

I just tried this at the store, and didn't like it at all. It smells very cheap, and as others have said, kind of like a car freshener, or drugstore perfume sprays. Yuk!

Lipstick -MAC - Frost - Angel

I also bought this because I learnt that it was Kim K's lipstick and I really like her light pink/nude look on lips. In the tube it looks really pink, but when you put it on it is much more subtle. I also wear the Turkish Delight NARS lipgloss over it, and it is very sexy looking.

Blush -Bobbi Brown - Pot Rouge for Lips and Cheeks - Powder Pink

I have dry skin so this blush works well for me. I also have a difficult olive complexion that is very hard to get a good natural looking blush for. This one suits me very well, and blends easily. I do not have to tug. A little goes a long way, however, so be careful not to look like a clown!

Treatments -Trish McEvoy - Even Skin Beta Hydroxy Pads

I starting using these after my last pregnancy left me freckly and blotchy. I really didn't think they would work, but they absolutely did! The blotchy area I had has completely disappeared and freckles faded. It did not irritate my skin at all, and I have very sensitive skin. I would definitely buy these again. They are overly expensive, but if they work, then I think they're worth it.
