Cleansers -Neutrogena - Rapid Clear Foaming Scrub

I've never had a problem with acne until my first year of college... I broke out ALL over my forehead and chin and for about two years have had at least 2 (if not more) active pimples at a time. I tried everything.. MaxClarity, ProActiv, homemade treatments, everything - nothing worked. I bought this scrub randomly at Target but didn't expect much. Who knew this would be the product to solve all my problems? I used it twice a day (morning and night) for about 2-3 weeks until ALL my acne was gone. That was the first time my skin was CLEAR (now all I had we're the acne scars). Since my acne was gone, I stopped using it and have it in my cabinet only when I get breakouts. It clears them right away. No acne treatment is going to work for everyone and if you're having trouble finding the product that works for you, I would highly recommend trying this scrub. If it doesn't work, oh well, you lost $8. But if it does, IT'S AMAZING AND WILL CHANGE YOUR LIFE. I would still have pimples all over my face if it weren't for this scrub. HG acne treatment!

Liquid -MAC - Studio Fix Fluid SPF 15

To start off, I've never really liked MAC products other than the eyeshadows and the blotting powder. However, I heard so much about this foundation I had to try it. It was also cheaper than most higher end foundations, so that was a plus. I tried REALLY hard to like this, but I just couldn't. I applied it every way you could possibly apply foundation hoping to find the right one for me, but they all ended badly. This foundation made my skin feel dry but made me look oily (what?!) I don't even understand how that could happen. And being the stubborn person I am, I bought 2 other foundations from MAC afterward (I was determine to find one that I liked) but still no luck. I'll stick to my Revlon Colorstay and save myself the money.

Primer/ Corrector -Neutrogena - Shine Control Primer

Shine control? What a joke. I have oily skin but I wouldn't say it's a huge problem. I wanted to try this product anyway just to keep my tzone in check. Before this product I barely used primer. I noticed that y face got oily even faster the days I used this. It didn't help with shine nor did it help my make up last. The only thing I liked about this product was the packaging.

Liquid -Lancome - Teint Miracle

I have pretty oily skin so I always use matte foundations... Until I tried this foundation. The idole or whatever the other foundation is called was waaaaaay too thick for me. Felt like straight cake on my face haha. My sister suggested the miracle instead so I got bisque 6 (w) which is a pretty good match for me. I have A LOT of acne scars that no concealer (except MUFE full coverage concealer) can hide. They're super dark and just all over my forehead and chin. I use two layers of this foundation to get rid of it. First I use a LIGHT layer in my entire face to get rid of redness and just even my skin tone. After letting it dry, I put tiny dots in areas I need it most and it covers my acne scars great. The only cons about this product are that it does make me oily after about 2 hours and the packaging. It's pretty, but I would prefer something that travels better.

Pressed Powders -Maybelline - Dream Matte Pressed Powder

I had such high hopes for this product. I read so many great reviews and even my fave beauty gurus on YouTube were talking about it. I went out and bought the darkest shade available, which was almost too light for me. Honestly, even if it it were a perfect match I would still hate it. It looks good for literally 10 seconds. It got rid of shine immediately and set my foundation great. Fast forward 10 seconds and you can see the powder settle into every part of my face. It looked disgusting. I used this powder maybe 7-8 times, each time HOPING for better results (maybe the first 5 times it looked bad was just a fluke....) but each time I ended up just taking off my face make up and trying again.
