Moisturizers -Vaseline - Petroleum Jelly

This stuff has a ton of uses! I use it mainly for prepping my lips before putting on a lip pencil or lip stain. Just a thin coat to make them moisturized. It's also great to use around your mouth when that area gets dry as the weather changes. Just a thin layer will do, and it's best after you wash your face or shower. And the best use, to remove stubborn waterproof makeup! It gets everything off. Just wash your face well afterward. The only thing I'm not so fond of is the fact that it usually comes in a tub. Sometimes it gets kind of gross and contaminated especially if you share it. A small tub is good, and the little metal tins you can carry with you are the best. Love this stuff!

This product IS expensive, but so totally worth it! It gives me a nice, soft pink glow and stays in place all day. I can see it on my face wipes when I take my makeup off at the end of the day (about 8 hours). Love it!

Eye Makeup Remover -Kate Somerville - True Lash - Lash Enchancing Eye Makeup Remover
nideSUPERgirl 11/12/2012 11:45:00 PM
Contrary to what everyone seems to be saying about this remover, it totally didn't work for me. I use waterproof makeup (MAC eyeliner and Lancome mascara), and all this managed to do was smudge it around without really removing it. Most of my makeup was still on my eyes, and they stung like crazy. I had to use my usual remover (Lancome Galatee Confort) to get it all off. The only thing I liked about this was the tube. Never going to buy it again.

Masks -Queen Helene - Mint Julep Masque

This stuff is pretty good, the smell is nice. My skin is sensitive, oily, and acne-prone, and it made my face burn for a minute or so. It does leave my skin feeling soft, smooth, and clean though. Sometimes, especially during the winter it dries my face out a little too much and gives me dry patches. Probably a better idea to use when the weather is warmer.

Mascara -Lancome - Hypnose Waterproof
nideSUPERgirl 2/18/2012 5:01:00 PM
I got this after I tried Hypnose Doll Lashes (which was terrible, I ended up looking like a panda after a few hours). It's so good, but quite pricey at $26. It lengthens and holds curl better than Doll Lashes and doesn't smudge. I love how you can put up to about six coats (though three or four is sufficient) without it clumping horribly. It's good to buy this when they have gifts so you get some nice samples. ( :

Shampoo -Clairol - Herbal Essences Long Term Relationship
nideSUPERgirl 2/18/2012 4:43:00 PM
I have really, really long hair and decided to try this out since I love the Body Envy shampoo by Herbal Essences. I feel like the only person who doesn't think this stuff & its conditioner smells good, but I am not a fan of the scent. It doesn't actually smell like raspberries. It didn't do much but just very basically clean my hair. If someone gave me this I'd use it, but I would not buy this again.

Shampoo -Clairol - Herbal Essences Body Envy Shampoo
nideSUPERgirl 2/18/2012 4:39:00 PM
I love this shampoo! I've been using this for years. It smells so good. I just wish it somehow helped make my hair less static-y during the winter. My hair is really, really long and fine so I have problems managing it during the winter. Other than during the winter, this does a great job with adding a bit of volume (also helps if you turn your head upside down when blow drying your hair after using this & its conditioner). I like the pump better than the squeeze bottle.

Cleansers -Lancome - Galatee Confort
nideSUPERgirl 2/18/2012 4:29:00 PM
It's really quite expensive, but it doubles as a makeup remover. It's incredible at removing makeup, especially stubborn eye makeup, such as waterproof eyeliner (MAC eyeliner that is next to impossible to remove!) and mascara. Just a small drop gets all my eye makeup off. I just rub it over my eyes and then wipe it off with a tissue. I don't use it as a facial cleanser so it's going to last me a long time. Love it!

Eyeliner -MAC - Liquidlast Liner - Point Black
nideSUPERgirl 2/17/2012 5:39:00 PM
When I went to purchase my second tube I almost had a heart attack when the lady at the MAC counter told me she'd never heard of this before. She sold me this awful, runny eyeliner that I returned. As far as I know this is only available on the MAC website now. It's amazing. It stays in place for 8+ hours, and has never come off on me. The only thing that's a bit annoying is the brush. It's like a mini paintbrush that can make a mess if you're not careful. But overall, I love it! It's the only liner I found that will stay on my Asian eyelids.

Mascara -Lancome - Hypnose Doll Lashes
nideSUPERgirl 2/17/2012 5:20:00 PM
It's pretty expensive for mascara. So far it's pretty good. The brush is amazing, I love it. My lashes definitely look longer and more defined. It is a bit clumpy after more than one coat (and I need more than one) so I have to use a lash separator. I don't really mind though. It smells really pleasant, like roses which is a nice change from my usual mascara that smells like a chemistry experiment. The packaging is super pretty, too. EDIT: Okay, I tested it and after about 5 hours I looked like a panda. I didn't even do anything that could have smudged it, I just studied and did some homework, Ridiculous. I returned it and got the Hypnose waterproof instead. Hopefully that will be better. I still love the brush though.

Fragrances -Bath and Body Works - Pink Sugarplum

It smells pretty good, and it's really nice that it's not too overpowering. A light, sweet, scent that could work for pretty much any season, not just winter.

I've bought this every year for the past three years, and I absolutely love it! It smells so fresh and sweet, but not too sweet, and it definitely reminds me of the holiday season. The packaging this year is a lot cuter than last year's ( :

Shampoo -Clairol - Herbal Essences Hello Hydration Moisturizing Shampoo
nideSUPERgirl 11/3/2011 10:03:00 PM
I used this shampoo for a few years before switching to a different Herbal Essences one (the red one for long hair, among many others). I really liked the way it smells and I think it's cool that it's a pearly blue color. It moisturized my hair fairly well and didn't leave it oily or anything. It's a good idea to use the matching conditioner afterward. I think it's a pretty good product ( :

Eyeliner -MISSHA - The Style Dual Eye Tip Eyeliner/Eyeshadow
nideSUPERgirl 11/3/2011 7:03:00 PM
I got the white one and I use it for highlighting the inner corners of my eyes. It's a pretty pearly white color. I use the end that looks like regular eyeliner. There's another end with a spongy applicator that's soft, but I don't really have a use for it. There used to be a Missha store in the mall near me, and I really miss it. They had some really nice South Korean cosmetics at decent prices. ( :

Top/Base Coats -Ulta - Nail Laquer Base Coat
nideSUPERgirl 11/3/2011 6:58:00 PM
This base coat is the green tinted one (but it goes on clear) in the cylindrical bottle with a silver cap. I think this product is great for the price, about $3 (when on sale). It dries super fast, in about a minute or two and only takes one coat. It's not thick or clumpy, goes on very smoothly and the brush is decent. A little goes a long way. I love this stuff ( :
