Eye Primer -Urban Decay - Eyeshadow Primer Potion - Original (UDPP)

The only thing I don't like about this is the packaging. I would prefer a squeeze tube so you can use all the product. That said, I really like it. The product that comes on the wand is enough for both eyes, so I expect it will last a long time. In the beginning I didn't apply enough, and my eyeshadow faded by the end of the day. Since then I discovered the best amount to apply and my eyeshadow doesn't budge the whole day, it lasts through heat and sweat and looks as fresh as after application. If you make a mistake though, with the shadow or the liner, it's not too easy to fix if you wear the UDPP. Overall it makes a huge difference for me, no more fading, creasing, smudging. I'll probably re-purchase.
This huge compact gives me a natural, sun-kissed glow. I'm self tanning my face so I'm not my usual fair self, so this bronzer looks just gorgeous on me now. I don't know if I'd like it as much if I didn't have the fake tan though, it might be too dark/orange. It's not matifying, that's for sure, but it's not sparkly either. The brush that comes with it is OK, it deposits a good amount of powder, more than my regular Quo blush brush. Overall it's a good bronzer, I won't buy again since the compact is so big that I won't be finishing it any time soon.
I thought I'd love this but it doesn't seem to do much for me. Compared to Dove's Energy Glow in Medium, this is worse, IMO. Dove's gives me lots of colour after one application, while this one hasn't given me any color after 2 days of usage. Also, it takes hours to completely be absorbed by the skin. On the plus side, I like the smell (like I'm bathing in tea), and I kind of like the little sparkles noticeable in the sunlight. I might still use it after my regular ST, but I won't repurchase.
Lip Gloss -Guerlain - Terracotta Gloss and Shine 70 Amber Sun

I like this, I only wish it was more pigmented. After half an hour it becomes an almost clear gloss on my lips, not too much color left. This is the downside. What I like about it is the buttery texture, the fact that is moisturizes really well, and the staying power - it lasts much longer than the average gloss. Also, I like the smell, not too strong, just pleasant. I really wish it gave me the color their model is wearing in their ads!
This is the best scrub IMO, and the only one that has actually worked for me. The texture is gritty enough to remove dead cells, and once you wash it off you are left with baby-soft skin. The serum calms down any irritation left by the scrub, and is silky soft. This combo helped fade most of my acne scars within a month (used every 2-3 days),got rid of some pitted scars, I don't break out as often, and my face is not as oily as before. It is expensive but very worth the money. I also tried the Olay kit and didn't do anything for me. As I said, this MK Timewise kit is the only one that worked for me.
Wonderful. The best. Application is a breeze (best if you use plastic gloves so it doesn't stain your palms and for an even application), absolutely no ST smell on me, just amazing fragrance that disappears in 3-4 hours. It dries fast, doesn't streak at all, doesn't rub off clothing, and the colour is perfect, brown, not orange, not yellow, just brown. I apply every 4-5 days or I'll look too brown. I think this really is my HG!
Self Tanners -Lancome - FLASH BRONZER Self-Tanning Face Gel

The best I've found for face. Nice, light consistency, great smell, it gives me an even tan in less than 2 hours. It's the only one that didn't give me any cystic pimples, actually it evens out my skin beautifully, I might be able to skip my foundation soon. I can even go as fas as to say that it gives too much colour, so I have to be careful and wash it off after 2-3 hours. The formula is great for oily skin.
I can't believe I'm reviewing this, as I didn't expect to use it too much. But it works! It works better than my Neostrata, Clarins and Avene. Let's see: Positive: 1. Easy to use. You just put it on like a regular body lotion. No streaks, no fuss. 2. No orange palms - as long as you wash them with soap when you're done. 3. No smell - I mean, not at all. 4. Believable colour - nice golden brown, not fake, it doesn't rub off, stays on even after showering, it just fades a bit but evenly. 5. Not drying. Needless to say I bought a backup and I'm planning to use it the whole summer. Negative: if you want to look dark brown, this won't do it. But it's very close to the real thing! Didn't try it on my face and I don't think I will.
Eye Shadow -Physicians Formula - Baked Collection wet/dry eye shadow

If this formula worked on me, I would have given it 5 lippies. But it doesn't. Every time I use it I get an allergic reaction, my eyes become itchy and very watery, and I'm not even the kind of person who's allergic to most make-up. In fact this is the first e/s that does this. So, I have it in Baked Sands and Baked Smokes. Colour-wise I love them, hence the multiple attempts to try them. The colours compliment one another nicely, and they have very good staying power. I love how they look on me. What I don't like, besides the obvious allergy, is the fact that when I slide my brush over the balls lots of fine powder flies around and onto the other balls. But I could have lived with that. The other problem though I can't ignore, so I won't ever buy them again.
Shampoo -L'Oreal - L'Oreal Professionnel Shine Blonde Shampoo

I didn't expect such good results from this shampoo. I was using Clairol Shimmer Lights once a week to tone down the brassiness in my blonde hair, but instead of just brightening my colour, it would just give it a darker tone, more like a dirty blonde. With this shampoo, I honestly didn't even feel like I had to use conditioner after, that's how soft my hair felt. It smells nice, leathers well, and left my hair soft, shiny and with a brighter colour. I hope it'll just keep my hair a non-brassy blonde with constant usage. The bottle is big and the pump is awesome, so far I really like this. EDIT: took off a lippie because it doesn't add an ashy tone to my hair the way Shimmer Lights does. But I still like it as a shampoo and the smell is awesome.
I can't believe I waited so long to try this. I've been using BE for the past couple of years and thought I'd never go back to liquid. Then my skin fell out of love with the mineral stuff and there I was back in search for a good foundation. I wanted something with very good coverage (acne marks, some fresh pimples too), and with oil control properties, and after reading the reviews I decided to try EL. I'm glad I did. It covers almost everything, and even though I can't say my face stays matte for the whole day, it definitely doesn't become as oily as before. The bottle should last for a very long time, there is no smell to it, the only complaint is the packaging, I'd much rather see this coming in a pump dispenser jar.
Lip Gloss -Lancome - Juicy Tubes Pop - Chai Freeze
nico1000 4/22/2006 5:46:00 PM
Not bad at all. Got it as a GWP, and on bare lips it shows up as a very pale milky pink, then becomes almost clear. I prefer it over a lipstick. Nice shine, very good staying power, smells nice, not to mention the taste - it has some sort of sweet chunks - yummy! I won't purchase because there are lots and lots of good l/g out there, much cheaper.
Lipstick -Clinique - Colour Surge Lipstick - Pure Posh
nico1000 4/22/2006 5:41:00 PM
Got it in a swap and I love it! Yes,when I first opened it and saw the colour, I was like -"no way I'm wearing this"-, but after trying it I became addicted to it. For reference I'm fair-skinned,blue eyes, blond hair, and this colour shows pretty intense on me, but after I blot once and put on some clear gloss, it becomes more natural and totally brings out my eyes and complexion. It's so soft, moisturizing, I have a feeling it even plumps my lips a bit, and it lasts quite a while. If I run out of it, I'll probably repurchase.
Read Twinkle5000's review and you'll know how I feel about this fragrance-crazy,huh? Yes, I bought the smallest bottle too a couple of years ago because a guy I was extremely attracted to was wearing it, guy gone forever so I'm still left with 1/4 of the bottle I can't seem to part with...5 lippies when worn by the guy, blah when worn by me.
Self Tanners -Avene - Mositurizing self-tanning lotion (for sensitive skin)

I have only been using this for a couple of days so it might be a bit premature to say, but I think I like it more than my last year's HG, Neostrata, or the other ST I like, Clarins Instant Gel. In my oppinion here are its advantages compared to the other 2: SMELL - by far the best, reminds me of a Caron loose powder, doesn't turn into the "stinky feet" smell the others have, and it dissipates quite fast. It is the FASTEST ABSORBED by the skin and it leaves you glowing. It DRIES fast so you can put on clothes right after using it. Now I can't really comment on the colour, because I put it on after I already had colour from the Clarins, but so far it deepened the colour and it's not streaky or flaky. I've yet to see its colour when you start from scratch and its lasting power on me. And best test of all - I have to see how my face reacts to it, I didn't want to risk using it on my face during the week-end, when I have to go out. I will update.
