Treatments (Eye) -Lancome - Genefique Eye Cream
nicizzy 3/21/2013 11:22:00 PM
I've been using this for about a year now and I haven't seen the results I was hoping for. My normal regimen includes Genifique serum followed by Genifique night cream (which is fabulous, a mini face lift in a jar), Genifique Eye Light Pearl, then after the Light Pearl has absorbed, the Genifique eye cream. The cream is more of a lotion and it doesn't feel nourishing as it goes on. I've not really seen any difference in my eye bags or eye wrinkles. In contrast, the Lancome Renergie eye is the total opposite - it's rich and nourishing and instantly brightens and perks up my whole eye area. I plan to switch over to the whole Renergie line when I'm finished using my Genifique products though I suspect I won't be able to live without the Genifique night cream for very long simply because I love it so much. But I won't be repurchasing the Eye Light Pearl or the eye cream.

Scrubs -Lancome - Exfoliance Confort
nicizzy 3/21/2013 11:16:00 PM
I've been using this since October. I apply it with my little Olay sonic brush while I'm in the shower. The scrub smells nice and has just the right amount of grains to give my skin the look and feel of having been nicely polished. I use this scrub daily after washing with Mousse Radiance and the combo leaves my skin so fresh and soft. It's a keeper.

Masks -Makeup Artist's Choice (MUAC) - 25% Mandelic Acid Peel
nicizzy 3/21/2013 11:12:00 PM
I've become a MUAC ADDICT! I've tested out quite a few of the products including glycolic and TCA peels, but my absolute favorite is the Mandelic peel. I'm 45 and have fairly good quality skin, but prone to small blackheads on my cheeks, and white heads in the corners of my nose and lips. I've tried all sorts of acne products and scrubs and none has worked until the Mandelic Peel. I use it every four days and get the following amazing benefits: - soft smooth skin - clearer more even tone (Mandelic acid is used in many of the spot treatments available on the market) - blackheads and whiteheads GONE Mandelic acid works as an antibacterial, and I find that if I'm consistent in using it every four days (left on for 6 minutes) all my little issues disappear. When I've been off the mandelic for TCA peels, the zits and whiteheads start to reappear, so I'm going to stick with this permanently. A note, MUAC also offers a Mandelic toner which I've added to my regime. Excellent light daily exfoliant, combined with the peel, and I have the skin I've always wanted.

Moisturizers -Lancome - Renergie Lift Multi-Action Lifting & Firming Cream
nicizzy 3/21/2013 11:06:00 PM
I started using this after receiving it in a GWP. I received the day, night and eye creams. Prior to this, I was a die-hard Genefique user. The Renergie is fabulous and my new favorite. In fact, I plan to finish up all my Genefique (day, night and eye) and switch complete over to Renergie. The following day routine gives me skin as smooth and tight as glass: - after washing, apply MUAC Mandelic toner - apply MUAC glyluronic serum - apply Renergie day and eye - look in mirror and smile!!! The night cream is really nice as well, it doesn't give me quite as much lifting because it's somewhat more emollient than the day, but in general, this combined with the MUAC products is winner for me.

Treatments (Eye) -Lancome - Renergie Microlift Eye R.A.R.E.

I have this in the fluid/pump bottle. I just started using it last week and I LOVE it. Immediately after applying my eyes seem to open up. I have chronic under eye bags that drive me nuts and this also smooths them out. I'm addicted. The pump is a bit awkward because I find a bit too much comes out and I don't like to waste it or use too much, and the price in Canada is insane (85) but it's worth every penny.

Treatments -Garnier - Dark Spot Treatment
nicizzy 8/29/2012 11:20:00 AM
I've been using this product for about two months. I don't generally have dark spots on my face, but I did want to try the brightening effect of vitamin C all over my face. I have had a sebaceious hyperplasia on my upper cheek for several years now that refused to go away. I've had all sorts of prescription creams for this and nothing would shrink it or make it go away. I'm SO happy to report that after two months of the Dark Spot cream, this thing is nearly GONE. It has completely flattened out, the pore is about 90 percent smaller, and I expect with another month or two of use, there will be no trace of it at all. Very happy!

Top/Base Coats -Essie - No Chips Ahead
nicizzy 8/1/2012 9:14:00 PM
I usually use SH Diamond Flash, but since I've been on an Essie kick lately, I decided to give this stuff a try. I'm glad I did, and I'm glad I forgot to check reviews on it before buying otherwise I might have passed on it. I'll just get to the point, then explain - this stuff is working like crazy for me - no chips so far and I'm on day three. Ok, three days may not seem like a lot, but I type for a living and usually after about 24 hours of a new manicure, I start chipping. So on day three today, I've done my usual crazy typing, dishes, housework, lawnwork including mowing and pulling weeds, and peeling labels off new stuff and not a single chip - YAY! I should also note that I'm very methodical in how I do my nails - I wait about an hour between thin coats of polish, and then another hour before I finish it off with top coat. I think maybe some of the reviews here suck because most of the reviewers talk about doing their nails before bed. Ladies, this is a lose lose situation no matter WHAT you put on your nails. Do them in the morning, and I think you'll change your opinion of No Chips Ahead. I LOVE it!

Treatments -Lancome - Visionnaire [LR 2412 4%]
nicizzy 6/11/2012 10:47:00 PM
I've been using a few testers I received with a GWP. I love the smell and the texture as it goes on, however I've noticed a lot of little bumps, white heads, blackheads and a few major zits cropping up since I started using it (along with Genifique concentrate). I haven't noticed any change in the quality of my skin, and I'm not sure if it's doing anything to pore size - I've had to start using a benzoil peroxide wash to tray and get all the bumps and zits under control. I may try to use up my testers or sell them on Ebay - but I definitely will not purchase something that's made me breakout like this.

Mascara -L'Oreal - Voluminous mascara
nicizzy 6/11/2012 10:44:00 PM
This has been my favorite mascara since it first came out. I've tested a lot of other mascaras but I've always come back to this as my standard. It makes my lashes really full and dark and it stays put until I'm ready to take it off. The price is great as well!
