This topcoat performs ok. It dries polish fast but it causes my polish to literally peel off in one big layer. My biggest gripe about this product is it's pure poison! Yikes! Think about how often your fingers come in contact with your mouth, eyes, etc. I'm constantly feeding my toddler and taking foreign objects out of his mouth so now I'm aware of the types of products I use. I'm not a natural junkie and I'm sure I use products with loads of chemicals in them but when why load that junk onto your finger nails? Google this stuff and you will be shocked at the claims made.
Fragrances -Trish McEvoy - Blackberry and Vanilla Musk #9 EDP

I have to be in the mood to wear this. Definitely too sweet for me to reach for everyday. This is blackberry and vanilla and nothing more. And stop comparing this to drug store and BBW fragrances. This fragrance has been knocked off more than a Chanel bag so yes, you will smell cheaper imitations but #9 is the original.
Fragrances -Victoria's Secret - Rapture EDT or EDP

Rapture is the only reason I step foot in a Victoria's Secret. I was a fruity/sweet wearer in my teen's and a clean girl in my 20's. Now in my early 30's I do appreciate Rapture very much. There is no such thing as an old lady fragrance. I believe this appeals to me now because my taste and style has changed. I went from a tomboy to preppy to sophisticated in my clothes, car, home decor, perfume, etc. I do smell this on younger girls and it fits them just fine as well.
I've tried this a few times and never decided if i liked it but now i do (my tastes change as I age). on paper it's a little deeper and i smell patchoulli maybe? but it's more citrusy/floral with my chemistry. reminds me of light blue but not as tart. the staying power is nill. i have to spray this liberally and i have to spray my body and my clothes. overall, i like this fragrance and i'm sure it will be a good spring/summer addition to my vanity.
ok, so i'm always the opposite of mua. when everyone on here likes something, i hate it and vice versa. this lipgloss is no exception. i LOVE this. i'm a ddd with very pigmented lips alot of lip glosses look like halloween make up on me. this is the only nars lip gloss i can wear. Ophelia gives off a very faint light pretty glossy pink on my lips. it is very moisturizing and it out lasts most of the other lip glosses i own. a good 4 hours later and i could still feel it on my lips although the color had disappeared. is it expensive? yes. would i buy it? yes. there are only a few make up brands i support and nars is one of them so i'm happy to finally find a lip gloss in this line that i can wear.
Lip Gloss -Victoria's Secret - Very Sexy Lip Gloss in Wet

i'm a ddd and this is my everyday pink neutral color. this is the color i wish my lips were. it's average quality and it doesn't have a smell or taste i'd comment on either way but it's taken me 31 years to find this color so i will purchase it for as long as they make it.
ok...don't send me hate mail but this pallette is just so-so. i won't pull down the ratings because i'm sure it accomplished what it was set out to do. i don't know how to put this ...but a neutral on a caucasian woman is not the same as a neutral on an african american woman (i have the same issue with shoes and bras). so with that said, these colors are not my go-to everyday neutrals and i don't love this as much as others. i will give it a 4 on the quality and value. i have very deep brown complexion and finding 'neutral' eyeshadows are a chore for me so if anyone shares my complexion or is a make up artist and can offer some assistance, i'd be grateful. OH YEAH, AND THIS IS NOT A LE, STOP BUYING 4 AND 5 AND STOP PAYING $100 FOR THIS ON EBAY!
i agree 100% with the first reviewer, this does look like you were trying to take off a dark pink and your nails got stained. it was so weird. i find that essie's sheers are either too sheer and when they do impart some color, it's unflattering. i guess i will stick to OPI for sheers. i do love the essie formula though and some colors are beautiful, but not this one.
this smells good and leaves me feeling clean but it was not moisturizing at all and it broke me out on my chest and i haven't had a chest break out since puberty. my skin doesn't like this, sorry. and i hate the packaging because i store my body washes upside down and you can't with this one.
ok, so i will keep my hate for the original angel to myself. my eyes literally water when i smell it. wow! anywhoo sunessence is much lighter, sweeter and fruitier. it sort of reminds me of coco mademoiselle as it's drying down. i do love the sweet and fruity notes but there is a 'weird' note that comes out on my skin, the ginger perhaps? but for the angel lovers, please, for the love of god, switch to this for spring and summer!
i'm not currently on retin-a but i've been battling acne since i was 11 and i'm now 31. this is the only thing that has ever and i mean ever cleared up my face. yes, you purge and peel but the results are worth it. i use other products to keep my face under control (not clear though, i don't think i've seen totally clear skin since i was a baby!) but when i'm having a bad breakout and i can tell nothing will help, even splashing water on my face will a pimple, i know it's time for me to get some retin-a.
so i wore this in the perfume a few years ago and actually wrote a review saying it was too sharp and i wish they made it in a body spray. well..here it is and it's perfect. it's actually been out for a while but i had moved on to other fragrances so i didn't bother with it. well i bought the mini mist a few weeks ago (those darn impulse waiting in line purchases!!) and geez oh pete, if one more man stops me and tells me i smell good. i mean from my brother, father, bf, boss, the man doing my oil change, strangers at the mall. not one female compliment though but who cares? lol. i don't know the notes in this fragrance but it's clean and sexy. i do still get that sharp note but it mellows out unlike with the perfume spray. it wears close to the skin on me and it lasts for most of the day with maybe when i leave work if i'm not heading straight home. i wouldn't say it's my new fragrance but the body mist has won me over and i will keep it in my rotation this summer.
I'm going to give this a 3 because I've found it works at growing my eyebrows after I over-pluck and that's great. However, if it's known for hair growth, would I want to put this on my face and/or body, wouldn't it promote hair growth there also? So I won't use it anywhere but eyebrows for the moment and still on a search for a face oil. Jojoba works great for a while but then it starts clogging my pores and I have to take a break for a month or two.
the SA @ sephora was handing out samples of this so i tried it. smells exactly like Sand & Sable (the drugstore perfume that's been around for ages!!). Very musky floral and just not very flattering or modern. It's loud, heavy and cheap. She said she created this from start to finish and she obviously didn't do a very good job. Like other celebrity frangrances, she should've hired someone to create her fragrance. I do like her logo though. this is the top selling fragrance @ sephora? really. it's may. people are actually wearing this in the spring? err, umm, hmm, ok.
holy bologna batman...i can't believe i haven't reviewed this product yet.i've been wearing this lipglass constantly for over 5 years. it is my everyday color. i will wear a pink if i'm going to spring wedding, or a red if i'm going to a holiday party but other than that...i wear shock-a-late all fall/winter and revealing all spring/summer. i'm a lovely DDD and this is just the perfect throw on and go color. i would even venture to say this is my 'nude'. yes, it's dark and no it won't work on all skin tones, no color will ever do that!
