Treatments (Eye) -Unlisted Brand - Matis Eye & Lip Mask
nic4336 4/23/2010 4:51:00 PM
My long and expensive search for the perfect moisturizing eyecream is finally over! Matis Eye & Lip Treatment Mask moisturizes and hydrates my dry, mature undereyes and leaves the skin velvety soft and smooth all day, concealer glides on. It's fragrance free and worth the price. Available at spalook, skinone and dermstore.

Concealers -It Cosmetics - Bye Bye Under Eye
nic4336 6/29/2009 4:07:00 PM
I love this, am so happy I found it! It's a full coverage, waterproof concealer. It covers my severe dark circles all day and doesn't make my mature/dry under eyes look worse like a lot of concealers do. I warm it up on the back of my hand first then apply over well moisturized undereyes with a fluffy eyeshadow brush (I like Laura Mercier Eye Finishing Brush). The colors run light, I'm a Neutral in Clinique and got the Natural Medium shade and its perfect for me. You only need a teeny tiny amount and the tip of the tube is very small so it only dispenses a tiny amount. Also, I don't use powder on top as powder makes my mature eyes look horrible, and this concealer stills lasts without powder. $24 at beauty.com, hsn.com, beauty360 stores and It Cosmetics website.

Treatments (Eye) -Elizabeth Arden - Millenium eye cream
nic4336 12/13/2007 4:34:00 PM
My dry, 47 year old undereyes really love this product. Its so moisturizing and plumps and smooths the area immediately. It's a basic formualtion (mineral oil), fragrance free and no fancy ingredients or actives, just moisture. Comes in a tube, little thick, I warm between my fingers for a couple seconds, takes a minute or so to sink in (worth the wait!). Not sticky at all. It's definitely for dry, mature skin and I can understand why some of the younger reviewers may not be excited about it. I went overboard with my Retin A usage under my eyes and was so dry, this really took care of the dryness. Suggest looking for it at TJ Maxx or Marshalls for a much better price than dept store. A keeper!

Cleansers -Patricia Wexler MD Dermatology - Universal Anti-Aging Cleanser with skin regenerating MMPi technology
nic4336 9/20/2007 7:53:00 PM
My dry, mature skin loves this cleanser. I do remove my eye makeup first then use this, it has olive oil in it and other nice ingredients. No tight, dry feeling after and it does remove my face makeup. Slight chemical smell that doesn't linger, but no added fragrance. Recommend for the dry ladies!

Moisturizers -Isomers - gemmotherapy cream

Great for mature, dry skin. My skin loves soy and this is such a nice moisturizer, smooths and hydrates, after continued use it does feel like my skin is "re-fattened"!

Treatments (Eye) -Patricia Wexler MD Dermatology - de-puff eye gel
nic4336 6/13/2007 12:17:00 PM
Love this eye gel! I use it every morning eyelids and under eye and boy does if de-puff and smooth. Then I add a moisturizing eyecream undereye (the gel is enough for eyelid though). I wouldn't be without this. Price is better at B&BW than qvc. I do wish the tube had a tapered head, sometimes too much gel comes out. But aside from that, its a keeper!

Moisturizers -Good Skin - All Bright Moisturizing sunscreen SPF 30
nic4336 5/24/2007 9:10:00 PM
Love this! And my skin apparently loves glucosamine, because the brightening effecting is wonderful, and it mositurizes and great price. Olay Definity with glucosamine is much more expensive and not nearly as good a moisturizer. This product is also fragrance free!

Lotions/ Creams -Sally Hansen - 18 Hour Protective Hand Cream
nic4336 7/30/2004 8:53:00 PM
My HG! Great ingredients and great price ($5.49). Leaves my hands feeling sooo soft and not greasey, nice light orange scent. The softness lasts a long time (maybe not 18 hours) but still a long time!

Toners -Kiehls - Rosewater facial freshening toner
nic4336 7/30/2004 8:46:00 PM
Very strong, alcohol based toner. I can only use a dab on my nose where I have some blackheads, and it really dries out and makes my nose flakey. Maybe this would be better for someone with very oily all over. Not me with dry all over and just a little oily on nose.

Good thing I got this on Ebay for next to nothing, because it did nothing! Sticky mess that never absorbed. Threw it in the trash.

Styling Products -Beyond The Zone - Turn Up the Heat
nic4336 7/30/2004 8:29:00 PM
I love this! Got it at Sally Beauty, can't beat the price ($5), I wash and air dry at night and following morning I flat iron, a couple light sprays (I have thick hair) and wow, as good as any high end heat protector. But as the others said, don't over do, use sparingly!

Styling Products -Paul Mitchell - Super Skinny Serum
nic4336 7/30/2004 8:24:00 PM
It didn't make my thick, wavy, sometimes unruly hair "skinny", but it did tame it down a bit , and made it soft and shiny after blow drying and straightening. No alcohol in it and nice scent (kiwi?). Biosilk is still my favorite but this is nice second choice.
